First of all this location isn't in a good area, but I never been In this location before. I decided to see what they have in store. I had to use the restroom, I went today at 7pm. The lady in the fitting room, doesn't look like she enjoys her job. She didn't say hi, or welcome. She just stood there and opened the door. She's tall and skinny emo girl. They have a lot of nice stuff but they definitely raised prices. I can find the same stuff for the same price in better condition at Target. The LP there didn't watch a homeless man stuff his bag and looked like he did a swap out. Saw tags on his pants and a shirt. Lazy... he was definitely noticeable, seen him outside with his cart going through trash. And was also high on something. They were too busy worrying about the carts. Anyway, the bathroom has mold all over the the corners, the door etc. Very gross bathroom, how can they let customers use it. I kept sneezing in there and just uncomfortable. Every time I use my credit card at the Newport News, VA store it is comprised and I have to get a new one which costs me $100. No need to say that any savings I might have by shopping Ross is negated. Someone needs to check this out. I went in and picked up the coat for my son I waited online patiently and finally got to the cashier I needed a big bag for the coat and I wanted a few more large bags when I asked the young lady for six more she contacted her manager and then told me no I said I'd pay for them and she said that's just not how we do things here so I said well the least you can do is give me one more double bag it please .. And she handed me my change and before I could even get it back into my wallet she yelled out next in line then she looked at me as I was putting my money away and said can you move over please I completely ignored this young lady she was unprofessionally dressed she was rude and treated me like I was a thief she said that the security guard at the door will be looking through my bag and to make sure that I have this receipt .. So I went over to the security guard and showed him my receipt and then I left it was a terrible shopping experience for me and I don't think I'll ever be going back to this location again .. Even though I waited 3 months for it to open up there are plenty more for the people are friendly to help every race and nationality My cash should be as good as anyone else's .. read more

Boxes are opened and you really have to watch your step in the shoe's section. The place is a mess but the prices are ridiculously cheap for great items. Home furnishing: 5/5 I only go to ross for cheap home decorations because they usually have a great variety of Buddha's and plants for a great price. I bought a lot of my "first apartment" necessities from this ross. Like your dinner set, cup set, pot set all for super cheap and great quality. read more

Won't allow customers to use the bathroom. Even people with medical conditions. I will never go here again. I will gladly drive further away to a store that does not have this rule which they said was a "corporate decision" and in effect for over a year. read more

Ross is a discount store where you can buy brand name things for under $10. This brings an interesting crowd. This also brings a very interesting selection that always changing. Come early come often. The employees always say good morning to everyone they encounter. It's cheerful for an otherwise grungy shopping haul. I love this Ross. read more

If I could give no stars for customer service I would. I wasn't able to do a return because I paid with my debit. The store needs to understand that's it not the customers fault that their shitty system doesn't work. I'm coming to return an item the next day and I can't come back another since I'm leaving the country. The store manager was present and disregarded my concern. The Store was really nice and I found most things for a great price. Unfortunately the staff lacked communication, grammar, and eye contact. However, what really disappointed me was the work ethic and attitude the Supervisor had towards me and my family when we addressed an issue. I felt like I wasn't welcome for having a Hispanic Family and less for my sexuality. On another note, the cashier did NOT give us a receipt and that really should have earned this store a One Star. But for the store being clean and things easy to find, I think they deserved another star. I would highly recommend sticking with my local Ross store in Boca Park, Summerlin Las Vegas. Besides that the security was much more nice and welcoming than Ross employees. I hope they fix the issues and attitudes for both the staff and supervisor has against customers and especially queer people of color. read more

Wow this was the best Ross Iv been to so clean organized and all the merchandise was in great shape. I've been to other ross that I cannot say the same about. We were very impressed with everything. The staff was so friendly the girl in the fitting room and the girl at the register. Other employees also sad hi and asked if we were finding everything ok! I used to go to this one frequently because my office was just around the corner (at the time). It wasn't crowded at all when I went- after work. More people were shopping at Wal-Mart. I like this store even though it's a tad smaller than other Ross stores. I found a citrine colored cotton twin set (cardigan & tank) from Banana Republic here. My co-worker said she saw the same one and was thinking about getting it- how funny. I still wear it today- it's classic, and it goes with pants, jeans, or even a skirt. You can find really good deals here sometimes. Sometimes there are special weeks- "Shoe Week" or "Dress Week." read more

This Ross is just okay. It's hit and miss in terms of stock and tidyness. Clothes selection is okay aside from them having a lot of good dresses. I don't ever find nice shoes here and it is really effing messy compared to most. Home stuff is fairly decent, I've found a few cooking accessories here at a steal including a Rabbit wine opener set which I've been wanting and a good cast iron skillet. The dressing room is kinda dirty. I get sometimes you can't always help it, but there were visible dustbunnies that it can't hurt to sweep in there daily to keep a busy place clean. I prefer to look in Marshalls in the same parking lot for clothes and accessories, but I seem to have success in home items here. read more

I went shopping at this location on Saturday and as I was in the store there was a associate at the fitting room and I asked if I could the restroom, she immediately said "no restroom" and I asked why not and she did not respond back but shook her head. I desperately needed to go so I just left the store and put my things back. I would never shop at this store since their customer service sucks and u friendly. Ross seems to be the same as all the rest ...... but it's the people that work their that make the difference in your shopping experience. I just love the personable nature of their General Manager, Travis. His demeanor must be infectious because I feel welcomed by everyone from the cashiers Brittany & Lynette down to the damn Loss Prevention guys....Thomas is a super cool dude, vigilant & professional, this man really cares about his job.....& it shows.....Kaymon, is very appealing. As the first line of contact, Kaymon greats every guests that enters & exits the business, checks out the bags and belongings of fellow Ross employees leaving for the day ALL WHILE carrying a friendly conversation with a returning guest WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT. This black woman, Sharon, and another cashier woman were talking to a couple of customers for almost 10 minutes loudly and everyone in the store could hear. I actually use to shop at Ross like an addiction but went a few levels since then so , get my tank tops socks.l, picture frames and you can find some amazing face scrub hygiene care, that wouldn't be on the grocery shelves. I'm not sure if this is the exact Ross location that we went to, but we had a great time shopping at Ross. If you want to shop here, make sure you're in the mood to dig through lots of clothing! That's what we did, and we came out with some great bargains. I got an adorable pair of shoes for $10, among other things. It's not well-organized at all, so make sure you search for your size, and don't trust the little signs on the racks with the size numbers! read more

I am a regular here because of the convenience of the location for me. I do like it better than other ones I've been to but they don't seem to restock some sections very often.. perhaps because those are the sections that don't sell well? The manager is so rude. I called Ross and told them I wanted to return my shoes and that I am pregnant and cannot fit the shoes anymore. With that in mind that should tell you that I have worn the shoes. She told me that I can return them as long as I have the tag, the receipt, and the card I purchased it with. Since I am not feeling well I had my husband and go to the store and return them for me. They told my husband that they could not take them back because they were worn we drove all the way there for no reason and they were rude to my husband pointing out small imperfections like the bottom of the shoe was dirty. Half of the shoes at Ross either have stains or have dirt on the bottom that they do not clean. They said because they were worn I could not return them even though The manager knew that I wore them. I called up to the store and spoke to the manager and she was so rude and said that I should've let her know and that it was my fault because I should've read the small print on the back 1/2 of the customers do not go to the back and read and when they should have told the customers when they purchased it that you cannot return them if they were already worn the manager had the nerve to Yellit me and not let me speak and not let me get across what I was trying to say she was rude and had no customer service adequate. I will be calling corporate and letting them know because even though this is a small problem with the way that their manager handled it was a very rude. read more
