Be CAREFUL! We found a toy that was clearly marked 6.99 and at the register it rang up as 7.99. They clearly put another barcode over the original price and marked it up. They wouldn't honor the original price, yes it was only a dollar but how many other people are getting scammed. read more

The security guard was soo nice and helpful I usually have horrible experiences in Ross stores. I didn't feel followed or uncomfortable at any time. I didn't get his name but I did ask him if I could return in a different state if my items didn't fit..he went above and beyond to get the answer for me. The cashier was also nice....but the security guard deserves a free lunch or raise. Lol definitely will come back whenever I visit medford. read more

I like to find deals here from time to time. Best days to shop are Wednesday or Thursday in the morning or early afternoon. By Sunday the place is torn apart and a bit disorganized but that's normal. Sometimes they get good shipments and other times same stuff for a week or two. read more

Thus review is actually for the Ross on Centre Drive but their is not a business listing for them on here yet as they are new. From the moment I walked in the store I was immediately profiled as a shop lifter and literally followed throughout my entire shopping experience by an employee named Brandi. I don't know about anyone else, but being followed and pretty much accused of committing a crime while shopping just ruins my entire shopping experience. As a paying customer I expect to be shown the same respect as all the other shoppers in the store and not made to feel uncomfortable or unwanted to be shopping there. I do not know why I was immediately assumed to be a shoplifter or why she felt the had to spend my entire 45mins in the store following me literally aisle by aisle. I did not do anything out of the ordinary aside from browse through the items, and spend some time deciding what I could and could not afford. In the end I did make a purchase of about $50, but this will be the last time I shop at Ross purely for the blatant disrespect I was shown for simply looking the way I looked. It is unacceptable and something we should be far beyond as a society. Clearly that is not the case for Ross; where they can make a paying customer feel so uncomfortable that they want to simply walk out rather than continue shopping based solely on the way that they look. Brandi, as a customer service representative I thought you were suppose to be friendly and courteous of all of your shoppers and should treat them all with equal respect. You engaged in friendly conversation with other customers. Told them hello, and asked them if they were finding everything okay. All the while, not once saying anything remotely friendly to me, or asking if I needed any help, even though you were never more than 10 feet away from me for my entire visit. You need to take a step back and think about how that made me feel as a shopper let alone another human being who was made to feel as though I was a lesser than the other shoppers, and didn't deserve to receive the same amount of service or respect. You made me feel like I wasn't supposed to be there shopping and that there was something wrong with me. That didn't feel very good at all. read more

With the holiday shopping on our mines Linda and I went to this Ross. There is no sales tax in Oregon and that makes shopping more interesting. The store seemed well organized and clean. Linda found several gifts. I was more on a shop-for- Terry quest and I did not find anything I wanted. I guess I was still blinded by beautiful and expensive things in Ashland. read more

What can I say...I'm a Ross fan! I love to bargain shop and don't mind rummaging through racks of clothes to find the perfect thing....I don't know, doesn't that article of clothing just mean so much more when you had to work so hard to find it? This Ross is one of my favorites too...every time we are in here, its like they just unloaded new inventory from the night before. My last stop here about two weeks ago was par for the course as well....found sooo many clothes and shoes! And I'm pretty sure no one can beat their prices...for this niche, Ross reigns supreme! I found some really cute shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, shoes, and purses! Too much, in fact, I had to put some of it back! One of the highlights of this outing was they had tons of Roxy flip-flops all over...I bought 3 pair! I live in flip-flops and the Roxy ones are my favs...total score! I found a purse with a seahorse on it....instabuy....and some really cute Fox tees and three pairs of shorts that fit absolutely perfect! Ahhh, it was a good day for shopping! I always find my size in everything as well, I'm a Sm/Med in shirts and a size 5 in pants/shorts. And a size 9 in shoes, and they had plenty! As usual, amazing prices as well. OK employees, READY...OK, Bend, pick up, bend pick up, bend pick up... That is the motion needed to clean up this place... Wow, I hop no one was hurt when the tornado touched down. The store had more clothes on the floor than the racks... Everything now has some wild ethnic flair... getting tough to find suitable attire for a middle something male. The shoes are pretty cheap stuff, with such crazy styles you can't really wear in public without a smirk or ridicule. Socks, yea socks. That is the best pruchase here. They are good prices and usually have some better quality. So really this is just a large sock store. read more

I have never been spoken to so rudely as I just was by the manager Doris. After waiting over five minutes for her to come help do a simple return she was incredibly disrespectful. Common curtesy would normally be to say hello when you approach a person let alone a customer but she couldn't be bothered to say hello smile or even acknowledge me. Without knowing or caring about my situation she rudely spoke to me and basically said she had no control over policy and it was what it was I could deal with it. I went shopping at Ross at around 11:00 AM on a weekday. Pros: Friendly staff greeted me at the door. Friendly cashier got me checked out quickly. If found several clothing and a few household items I was looking for at Ross. Cons: The store is difficult to navigate. Low ceilings in some areas combined with ridiculously high poles attached to the shopping carts make it impossible to shop with cart and maneuver the aisles in many areas of the store. The store needs a renovation. The dressing room staff was unfriendly, irritated with customers (including me and my friend/fellow shopper), and behaved as if doing her job was a huge inconvenience. She was not helpful at all. She did not effectively/courteously deal with several customers queued-up waiting for the dressing room. read more

When Nina and I were in Adelante Gallery she admired a planter atop the partial wall that divided the two rooms of the gallery and asked the owner about it. It wasn't for sale, but was a piece the owner's daughter had picked up somewhere. She called her daughter, who told her she'd bought it a month or so ago at Ross in Medford. She then looked up Ross and called for directions for us. We drove to Medford and found Ross w/o difficulty. We went back to the Home section and found a few pots and then, on an adjacent rack we found the mother lode! There was a huge assortment of gorgeous pots at unbelievably low prices. Nina found a huge, beautiful one for $15.99, another lovely one, a bit smaller, for $9.99 and one even smaller, in the same pattern as the second for $5.99. By the time we came across the one that resembled the one that set us on our pilgrimage, she decided she liked the others better. A stop by the housewares section netted Nina some dish towels and me a couple of oven mitts. Her entire purchase cost about $35 and mine was about $10. Makes me wonder what kind of pots they have at the Ross near us. Not that either of us needs more pots, but there was a large and beautiful red one for $15.99 that Nina admired. read more

A large selection: I can pull 50 items for a client to try on, and they will easily go home with 15 stylish options for $200.00. Ross is not for the faint-of-heart shopper. I arrive prepared to grab a shopping cart and to work hard rummaging through tightly packed racks. The dressing room attendants hold items and make it easy to swap out clothing as we go. The bathroom is clean. have not found shoes or intimates that I like, or oddly, a good skirt selection. The men's department stock is erratic: occasionally it is full of great items, other times it is very slim picking. Women's plus sizes are available too. Plan for the long line at checkout, I allot 15 minutes to get out the door. Again, for a hard-working shopper on a budget, Ross usually pays off. read more

Way better prices than TJ Maxx and way more items! They also have way more plus size clothes than TJ Maxx! Lots of other good stuff though! I go here for home decor and household stuff mostly! I rarely venture into a Ross due to their scummy nature and only did so this time because we were shopping for prizes for a work auction. We perused the store and while we found plenty of reasonably priced silly items to load our two carts up with, the reward for spending so much was just not there. We failed to realize we would not be able to leave the store with our carts due to Ross' paranoia over customers stealing shopping carts. Each cart has a 19' pole affixed to it that prevents it from leaving the store. So there we are with two carts overloaded with hundreds of dollars of merchanise that cannot go into bags and no way to get them to our car. Not very convenient, and just an annoying reminder as to why I don't shop at Ross. read more

Very mess place to shop for items. It's always a hit and miss spots. Employees are careless of the store. Cleanness does not exist. Checkout lines are long and slow. The price is reasonable. Matching outfits are rare. read more

Just went into ross today to get a couple things for my new house. Found tons of home things that i loved. I always get to the line and see how long it is and don't want to go in it, but it really only took my 5 mins. Which was very nice. Read on here that the bathrooms were horrible but apparently they just remodeled them and it makes the whole store look nicer. Maybe they have new managers. Good job Ross! read more

Ross as a whole is good for finding cute clothes for cheap. They are totally the place to go for window dressings - you can save bunches on home decor. This store however always seems to have long lines at check-out. read more

Ross is a very cheap department store it is always very dusty inside and it puts me in a sneezing fit the whole time! The staff is MOSTLY friendly sometimes they can be very rude and the Dressing rooms are about as big as linen closets. The clothes are always cheap and uncomfortable and the items boxes are ALWAYS dented. read more

The messiest, most chaotic Ross I've ever been to. Aisles and shelves are too crowded, clothes all over the floor, shoe selection non-existent, long lines due to not having enough sales associates at cash registers. One star because, for some reason, I do return and about 1/2 the time find something to spend my hard earned money on. We should all stay away from this place and save our $$$ for trips home to SF or excellent adventures to Portland or Seattle! read more

This was an unique surprise. I was looking for a new pair of skinny jeans. I found my new legings and a cute shirt. I was so surprised at their selection of plus size clothing, jewelry, housewares, and sooo much more. This was my first visit, but it will not be my last. 9/17 @ 5:45... Dressing room attendant was unbelievably rude. She didn't greet me, I greeted her... She yanked the clothes I was going to purchase out of my hand as I was already handing them to her, patted them down, shook them out and threw them on her rack. As I was waking away she very oddly mocked me for telling my niece to give the room number to her, just kept repeating "give it to her" over and over. I love Ross, but leave your attitude at the door, it's pathetic. If you hate your job, quit. Don't take it out on people that are nothing but polite to you. read more

Okay I love this Ross. I have been there many times and they have wide selection of everything. They have great deals on sheets, housewares, hair products, women's clothing and men's clothing. They have great stuff for dogs like affordable cool dog beds and toys. They even have gardening stuff . The cashiers are hit or miss. So sometimes they are okay and others are the bees knees. I went to Ross with my mom to have a girls day and shop. While shopping my mom came across this beautiful picture that she fell in love with and was so excited to buy. It was such a large picture she asked to leave it at the cash register, an employee said it was alright. When we were finally done shopping and my mother was so very ecstatic to purchase the picture, it had been removed from where we had saved it and put back on the floor. None of the employees knew what we were talking about. We left the store with my mother in tears. We are not pleased with the customer service and the neglect of this Ross store. read more

There were clothes all over the floor, merchandise everywhere and a line back to the fitting room, with 3 cashiers at the registers and literally 30 people in line. I like shopping there because I can actually find really nice clothes for a price that's considerably lower than regular price. My only problem is, I've been in other Ross's that have a wider selection than this Ross. This Ross has a lot of men's shirts that are skateboarding and surfer brands that I don't want to wear. My sister likes the store because it apparently has a really good woman's selection. So it's a good store to shop at, but not as good as others. read more

HUGE Ross with more space between displays. Store was pretty clean and staff was friendly. Dressing rooms were clean and in good repair, better than any other Ross I've been to. Unfortunately, the selection of clothing and shoes was poor and very disappointing. I needed a tip for a business meeting and left without finding anything. Also bout a suitcase but there were no travel items other than locks, not even a luggage tag. Would've given more stars if the selection was better. Did find a couple nice blazers tho. read more

If you want to get followed around because you opened a box that was already open just to make sure the product wasn't broken (because, come on, it's Ross...the shit is almost always broken) then come here and shop to your heart's content. I wouldn't say it's about race because I'm white but I was standing next to my husband who happens to be Latino and we were speaking Spanish. There is nothing more annoying and unnerving than someone coming up behind you, looking over your shoulder and saying, "don't worry, it's all still here," continue following you around the store, and then stand next to you while you're waiting for your husband to actually purchase something. read more

This Ross has rude customers who's children do whatever while the parents talk like squawking hens, the store is dirty and unorganized, Although the prices are great, It looks like the only section that isn't purchased from a warehouse in Mexico is the baby section. The lines to wait for check out is roped off and people aren't considerate, they'll cut in front of you and then try to intimidate you. read more
