Ross is always a hit and miss, but this location is very well cared for, excellent security and tagged items. They had more items in stock than I have seen at other Rosses so that was encouraging and variety is what keeps it fun. I found several items at great prices for the win! The dressing room attendant was probably the nicest person I've ever encountered at any retail store. The dressing rooms were also surprised, they're pretty clean and the doors go all the way down to the floor and are about 7 feet tall so that's the most privacy of ever experiencing my entire life trying on anything. Typical Ross, a random assortment of lots of items - clothing, housewares, bedding, shoes, small furniture and lamps, and kitchen items. Usually I find lots of clothing but I struck out at this store. Bought just one item, a super fancy black cocktail dress with a silver brocade empire chest. I have absolutely no place to wear this, but....it was $6.49! Yep, for less than a glass of wine, I purchased a cocktail dress! Since this coming New Year's will welcome 2020, I'm hoping someone, maybe me, will throw a fancy party. If so, I'll be there in style! Love how Ross is open until 11:00pm. Seems crazy to me but I'm often bored at night so this gives me a purpose, to go on a bargain hunt. Oddly, seems like others are on my schedule. Staff in fitting room, at jewelry counter, and check out were all friendly and helpful. Won't seek this particular Ross out as a destination as I do some of the other Ross locations, but since I was kind of in the area tonight (West Linn) I took the "scenic" route home so I could try my look at bargain shopping. Clothing is hit or miss as expected. Prices are good. My problem is where they place the security tags. A turtle neck should not have the tag placed on the neck. A skirt should not have a tag placed on the zipper! Now I get to buy these items and return them if they don't actually fit. When I asked the dressing room attendant if she could remove it just while I try it on, she said no and didn't even barely acknowledge my complaint. read more

I bought an item for a gift and removed the price sticker, not the tag. Later i decided to return it. It was not accepted for return because the price sticker was removed. It surprised me since they could print another price sticker. So buyer beware - don't take off the price stickers if you are not 100% sure of the purchase. This store of all the Rosses has to be the rudest of all! They claim?? they don't do "floor checks "but all the other Rosses in Portland Oregon do and are polite and courteous. Now I know its just the employee's job and I try to make sure I'm not in associates way but when an employee litterally squeezes by me and touches me then just stands half an inch away from me to hand one shirt up is rediculous I never wanted to punch someone in the face as much as I did this lady, it made me just leave. Whenever I need to dress out I usually come here for a quick solution; however, for someone that has worked in the retail business the employees here really need to be retrained costumer service asap! My friend and I came into the store after a 3 hour gym workout still in our gym clothes not looking our very best, and employee standing at the dressing room made several accusations that we were trying steal before and after we came out of the dressing room. One of the comments she said was "if we were really going to purchase the clothing." And one of her accusations was that I was going to put the dress I was trying on under my gym clothes. Like what!? My friend and I were just shocked! As someone who is a regular here I would never in my life come back here, I want to come into the store feeling as a costumer not as a criminal. read more

Love this location! Kinda hard to find shoes in size 11-12 but that's why I go in so frequently! I have tons of furnishings in my home from here. Hands down the nicest Ross I've ever stepped foot in. I came in today really quick before work to grab a top and I was sidetracked by all the awesomeness. There were so many items, huge variety of name brands! I couldn't believe my eyes. It was CLEAN and organized. The biggest pet peeve I have with Ross stores is how gross and Unorganized they are. I didn't have time to walk all the way throughout the store but I will be coming back in this weekend! Looking forward to it. Nice staff as well. read more

Its Ross I don't expect to much when coming here. But I will say what really sucks is that this store has 96% of it entire store geared to woman as far as clothing goes. Gentlemen are limited to 4 racks and nothing really past Large. So if you're a bigger guy I'm 6'2 and I'll just say it's not worth the trip. I will say I noticed everything seem extremely disorganized and not really care for or put into a presentable fashion. Also the employees their are just wierd employees looked miserable and have no joy or take no pride in there jobs. Something Corporate should take a closer look at because they're loosing alot of money on this location and it's in a great part of town alot of traffic opportunities. Ross is letting folks in without them wearing proper masks. Literally just a sheet fabric that is just dangling on someone face is enough. Corporate won't let the employees do anything to address it when they see it. generally speaking I have been happy with my purchases at Ross Dress for Less but the last couple of times I have been in the store the lines to check out have been so long its not worth it. They have 2 cashiers to check out customers with other employees walking about the store whom should be helping check out customers. On my last 2 visits I have put my items back and left because I don't think you should have to wait in line for 20 minutes or more. Management should change their policy to increase their sales. read more

Its a GREAT Ross store with the WORST customer service. If you ask for a manager it is immediately blatently obvious that the store clerks have been told to avoid any customer/manager contact when they can, If you push the issue you get two or three first names and they act confused. If you do get to see a Manager, they are without a doubt uninterested in helping you. They have this "we have each other's backs mentality" that makes you rather uncomfortable. One of the manager's, Hailey, this girl is by for the most obnoxious person to be in a customer service enviornment - Today I attempted to speak with her when she literally screamed in my face "I can help the next customer on six!". I was livid when I left. I asked for the district managers name but all you get is "Brian". I love the store, but I cringe when I hit the register. read more

I had the worst treatment at this Ross! Workers at this location DO NOT UNDERSTAND COSTUMER SERVICE, period. I had to return an item that was too small for my daughter and soon found myself in an argument with the cashier. Apparently people buy things, wear them and then try to return them on such a regular basis that they no longer trust anyone and treat everyone like a criminal by default. Nice policy.
