Wow this store had a great selection of home furnishing and decor which is what I came in for. Store was clean and organized with a great selection of clothing , shoes, home Goods etc. I walked out with a cart full for under $175 , like hello value ! Everything, I found the tops I was looking for at a great price. My only issue with Ross is the checkout lines...too slow.

Stopped in really quickly to check at the Christmas deals etc. I haven't been into this Ross recently but wow was it organized Dash everything had its own little corner and there are 2 to 3 different employees constantly organizing the store. Since the store was incredibly organized it was easier to find things than most Ross stores. I picked up a set of dark chocolate truffles for my fiancé and I picked up a cherry lip balm for a friends Christmas gift. This Ross has a lot of high end brand - including Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Anna and Klein. If you haven't been to this Ross I definitely recommend! 10/10 read more

This store has been going downhill fast. They block the exit door now so you have to exit bs k at the entrance. Says a lot about the hood nature of the store now. I'm a disabled U.S. military veteran. I bought lots of stuff on a recent Friday. I needed to return just two items and went bs knon Saturday. Normally you hs r a separate returns line so a previous customer died t have to wait in a long line again and just alternate between rtns and purchases easily. They ignored me several times. The black sales woman had no name tag and I spoke up to ask if she's handling rtns. She says you have to wait in line(20+ ppl). The mgr was useless just standing at the door like a hired security guard with a yellow marker to stain receipts. The piss poor lack of customer service at this Ross location is unacceptable. This particular Ross Dress for Less location it's in the Colonialtown Center shopping plaza. Ross dress for less, if you aren't familiar with the brand, is it discounted clothing store. Well, they have a general assortment of discounted items with a predominant focus on clothing. It has been a minute since I was in a Ross Dress for Less location, but this one seems smaller than other ones that I have been in. The selection was okay, I guess. Once again, it seemed like there was less in here than other locations and I have been in. Perhaps it is just me and maybe a faulty memory. Still, if you were in the area, this is not a bad location to stop at. I can't say that it's anything spectacular, however, it is also nothing absolutely terrible. Overall, I will give it three stars. Check it out if you were in the area. Actually, I would only recommend checking it out if you are in the shopping plaza. read more

Standard store offerings, but cleaner than most so bonus. They even have a decently organized clearance section in each of the areas. You'll still need to dig through to find good deals on good pieces, but the cleanliness is a better start. There were 2 cashiers when we went and the line moved semi quickly. A new look! I think Ross has listened to Yelp reviews!! There's a noticeable fresh look to not only this store but the one on Michigan ave that I went to. I suspect they've listened to the people everywhere! You're greeted, as before, by a nice employee as soon as you walk in but this time I didn't notice him/her because the shine, neatness, space, signage, fresh look stood out. I can't get better deals than here and, yes, I would often check out Marshall's too, but I'll still come first to Ross. Extra treat -- Tuesdays extra 10% for 55 yrs old and over. The aisles were much neater than before but still had rolled-up carpets and rugs on the floor. I'm sure they're trying... I usually find what I'm looking for plus a few more great deals and come out feeling good. read more

The only Ross in the area thats closed at midnight, so its very convienient! Just feel bad for the staffs who work there though. They should get paid more for all the work they got to clean in there and staying that late. Other than that its always a go to place. Ross told me I was approved for a Ross credit card and then when I got there me and my grandchildren we went in there to go get their school stuff and then we got the stuff and went in Line to the cashier and she ask for my I'd I gave her my ID and she looked it up and showed I was approved and I showed her on my phone i gave her my Florida state Id and then she said it wasn't right so somebody at Ross froze my card so I couldn't get the stuff I picked out for my grandkids and they understand it because it had my Florida id and it still wasn't good enough I felt they treated me like that because I was black if I was white they would've did it they sent me a email talking about front and back of my id, light bill and social security card and they said it take a month to send me the ross credit card and when I sent it all the information they asked for they investigated it and they found out I was the person I said I was and then they approved it but I think nobody should go through that to get a ross credit card read more

3 Stars for a messy store with good deals, but many more pleasant competitors nearby. With Marshall's in the same shopping center I sometimes end up at Ross by mistake. You see, they may seem interchangeable but there is a big difference in cleanliness and ambiance between these two discount giants. And yet somehow I can never remember which I prefer until I walk inside. It's not that Ross has such a vastly different selection but it's laid out in a much less appealing way and is very cluttered. Besides the often messy aisles, the fitting rooms are awkwardly situated so there are always lines of momentarily-abandoned shopping carts blocking aisles nearby. Now that's not to say you can't find some good stuff here. But just don't expect an employee to offer to help you. It gets the job done but, again, with a better competitor so close, I try to remind myself to go to Ross only if I haven't found what I wanted at Marshall's. read more

I'm usually not a fan of Ross as I usually find better clothing options at the other discount stores. However, I was pleasantly surprised during this last visit. Although the store was not as clean as it could be and items were misplaced, my mom and I found clothing and newer that we liked. Also, there were a plethora of dresses to choose from, which was a welcomed change from the two previous clothing stores we had come from. In addition, the store associates were very helpful and the checkout line wasn't super long as it usually is in this particular store. This is a good Ross store. Decent selection and not too crowded. I used to look forward to going to Ross stores because of the watch selection. Unfortunately they're carrying fewer and fewer of my favorite brands. Ross also used to carry a larger selection of books. Now all they have are Bibles, cookbooks, journals, and photo albums. I've only been to this Ross store once. Not a big fan. There was absolutely no customer service at all. There were sales associates all over the store putting things back in its proper area. They would walk right by you without acknowledging that you even exist. As I was getting ringed up at the register, the cashier didn't even look at me. She was wearing a very low cut V-neck shirt which I found was offensive because she wasn't any sort of attractive at all. All I heard from her were mumbles of what my total was. This is one of the better Ross stores around town. It is always clean and pretty well organized. Ross is a great place to get a deal, but I hate the hassle of long lines and items located on the wrong racks (that feeling when you find the perfect dress only to realize it's a size 2 mixed in with the 8's... that's the worst!). Of course those problems exist here (I blame other shoppers more than the staff) but it's not nearly as bad as the rest. So, 4 stars it is! This location is a hit or miss when it comes to merchandise selection. I always try to make a point to stop in when I'm in the area. I usually hit up specific parts of the store - shoes, housewares and pets. It can be pretty hectic and cluttered not to mention that the aisles are tiny especially if someone takes up the aisle with their shopping cart. Then you are either forced to turn back and come back around or squeeze on by! I have found some brand name pet toys and treats at rock bottom prices here which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Same goes with shoes. But most times I find that the styles cater to the young partygoer. Lots of platform styles I wouldn't be caught wearing to work! Ha! I don't really go through the clothing racks because I honestly never have the patience or time. But I am sure there are deals to be had. As far as customer service, there is not really anyone on the salesfloor offering assistance . You're basically on your own unless you get someone's attention in the fitting rooms or at the jewelry counter. The check out lines can back up, on occasion, especially if there is only one cashier working. The busiest times seems to be after 5pm on weekdays and especially on weekends. I am not a big fan of Ross to be honest, I just think Ross does not have much in sales and there clothe is nothing that great the only thing I have found here that is maybe worth buying is jeans but other then that there shoe selection sucks just like at other Ross stores. The people that worked here were pretty friendly and helpful but I also think having a Lost Prevention person visible is dumb, if you want to catch people stealing have them undercover. They also sell home stuff here to decorate your house like figures and some furniture but not much of a selection, even clocks and other figures for your house also you can find lots of women clothe and shoes. This location is much better then the one in Altamonte Springs just because I think this location has more of a selection even the women's shoes is bigger but the mens side is still lame and not much in shoes and the shirts are okay but not many good designer shirts and some dressy shirts even some with a tie on them already. I do agree that Ross is cheaper then most place so I guess you have to come in a good day to find good items. read more

I love Ross. But NOT this location. They must hire the slowest people in the world as cashiers. There 3 cashiers working and I was the 4th person in line. I waited, not exaggerating, 26 minutes before the line even moved. The wait for my actual turn was even longer. You're ringing up clothes and small items. And the carts are pretty small. I bought a pair of jeans here and the zipper broke after one use. I was not allowed to return or even get an in-store refund after returning the pants the next day. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be returning to this Ross store after my poor experience yesterday. Though the selection of clothes and cleanliness of the store is what is to be expected at any Ross (not great) the customer service was nonexistent. As I got in line to check out there were two registers being used and both were ringing up customers. With only one lady in front of me I did not expect to wait long but I was incorrect. One employee was handling a customer return which took some time while the other was ringing up a fellow employee. I know this because they stood there talking for 10 minutes at the register. In the meantime a line of five has formed behind me and two new customers have come in with returns. After the lady in front of me was helped BOTH customers with returns were called up to the registers, ahead of me and all other waiting customers. Having worked retail I understand that things get busy sometimes but no effort was made to open additional registers or even to apologize for the long wait. I finally decided that I didn't want to give my business to them anymore, set the dress down and left. There are plenty of nice, inexpensive places to shop in that plaza, I highly recommend choosing one of them instead. read more

Your typical Ross. If you can stand the hours it may take you to sift through the junk you may find an item or two that is a real deal. I can on occasion find home items, shoes, lotions, bathing suits, fitness gear and clothing. It does seem to be feast or famine, you may go in two or three times and see nothing that even remotely interests you. But I've found some great deals on brand name stuff too- maybe its timing. A couple things that really annoy me about Ross- the limit of items to be taken into the dressing room means multiple trips and the fact that they put their impossible to remove stickers right on the glass of their picture frames. Either make your sticker easier to get off or put it on the back. I'm tired of sitting there with a razor and goo gone just to be able to use my photo frame. Also, don't expect the clientele or customer service to be great and the store is often a mess. You get what you pay for, I guess. read more
