Horrible customer service. I generally love Ross but the staff here is extremely rude. I was there with my husband and daughter one of the workers followed us around as if we were trying to steal. Also my husband went to the restroom and as he came out the same worker said "he's headed to the front now", after they kept checking on us.. it made him and myself feel so bad as we would never steal from Ross. It was extremely uncomfortable, disrespectful and unprofessional.. never have I experienced this at any other ross or any retail store in general.. also, As we reached the cashier to pay she was extremely rude, it was obvious she did not want to be there. I normally will not rate stores or clothing stores but was a little disturbed with this one. First let me start with a positive note most employees are friendly. The gal at the checkout was sweet and personable but my experience at the fitting room was another story. I'm very observant on how people are treated especially in this area. The female working didn't even acknowledge with any type of greeting and checked my 6 items of clothing before I went into the fitting room which I am completely in agreement with though she vaguely checked the gentleman in front of me. Furthermore I wihen I came out with the six items - 3 in which I handed back to her and showed her the three I kept separated very visibly. She apparently did not believe me and made me put them on the item rack which I know for a fact she didn't do for anyone else so I suggest you talk to this young lady and not have her profile people or work in another department because you should never judge a book by its cover. Very displeased if you're going to attempt to do your job then you should do it from the initial starting point that you start -checking in the six items that you allowed me to go in with (Common Sense). read more

I am currently here at Ross, dec 4th 10:20 pm. We have been waiting in a long line for over 30 min. The cashier chose to take someone behind us instead. We've been waiting so long. I'm exhausted. This is ridiculous. A line is made so people who are paying when it's their turn!!. Not have people behind in line get priority. I just wanted to say that Araceli was our cashier and a lady in blue with glasses was on the other cashier. I am in tears with so much disappointment! I came in to buy a crate for our new puppy, I have a broken arm (in a cast) from an accident I was in; I was struggling to put my infant who's in a carrier, inside the shopping cart because the basket is too narrow to fit the carrier. So I tried to lift the carrier to place on the top basket where a child sits (it has safety locks to latch a carrier on) and I couldnt lift my infant higher than my shoulders with one arm. I kindly asked the loss prevention employee (gentleman looked to be in his 20s, Hispanic or Arabian origin) he stands there, looks at me, and says "I'm supposed to be watching" when theres no traffic of customers in the damn store! I said "oh really, ok I'll make sure to let corporate know" and was going to leave the store when he said "ok, fine" and started to make his way to me. Nope, you pissed me off to the max. These guys are bastards. They pick and choose when they want to accept returns or exchanges. I bought a $60 rug in which they failed to take a sensor off (there were two). I rolled my very large rug out in my living room to see how it fit, it didn't... and I left my tag on for just that. Because of that and the the sensor, I brought it back within two weeks. They would not exchange it without the receipt and they would not remove my sensor. As if I could have walked out and stolen this giant rug slumped over my shoulder, I am a 28 year old female. Obviously regardless of their security... alarms went off when I walked in with it, didn't notice the alarms the first time.. Security sucks for the most part. Now I have a tacky rug I wasted money on. I usually love Ross but these have been garbage shopping locations lately. read more

Ross can be a crazy place in that there always seems to be a mess, yet perhaps becuase this is a new one it isn't the case. You'll find good prices for things that usually you may pay more for, and at the same quality. Checkout clerks have always been friendly but I have seen the lines get long. Clean and well kept and they always have workers going around cleaning up! read more

great place for discounted name brands. they have a lot of stuff you would find in Nordstroms for less. A lot less. Could be better organized and cleaner. I don't understand the logic behind calling the next customer when you haven't finished with your present customer. It feels AWFUL! And they started the practice of asking the customer to tear off their own receipt off the machine. ????? Who comes up with this nonsense? Now that I'm on Yelp, I might as well add that the place where those annoying alarm stick pin things are placed is unbelievable. Sometime they ruin the clothing and 9 out 10 times you can't see the item you are thinking of buying (like the bed sheets). And the shoes are literally strapped so no one can try them on easily. Bathroom and dressing room floors are pretty dirty and should be cleaned up regularly. Ross please return to cleaner, organized, and TRUE customer service. read more

I was there to return a dress today. The girl who did my return was very friendly. When she scanned the dress she informed me that the price had gone down from 9.99 to 6.99. I told her ok and she gave me a card for the store credit. Then I went on and started looking around and while I was at the dresses I found the same exact dress priced still at 9.99. I took the dress to the register and waited in the return line again. When I got called up the cashier just happened to be the manager who I recognized from the picture they have of her at the entrance. I told her that I had a question and then started explaining to her what was happening. I wasn't even done with my sentence when she very rudely interrupted me saying that the dress was a newer item and started calling for the next person to come up, I wasn't even finished talking. I looked at her and told her that it was the same exact thing while she gestured the people in line to start walking to the register. I looked at her and just said ok and left the dress there. A simple question shouldn't have been answered in such a rude way. A manager should know how to speak to their customers. read more
