This is a nice store. It is not glamorous (though I think they are trying). The clothes are down to earth clothing, not much stuff for the younger crowd. Mostly they stock women's clothing, shoes, bags, accessories. They have a very small men's department. When I was there they had a huge selection of Vera Bradley bags. It is hit or miss. One thing many may not know is that Linda's husband sells things on E-bay. With the population aging, there are more and more people who need this service. You may be able to get a damaged item for less but it can be different to persuade staff to let it happen. I can't wear a mask due to very real medical reasons (blood pressure related), under my doctor's advise. Target had apparently rolled out a new (and already outdated compared to their competitors) policy on masks, but the clerk was either entirely ignorant to the details of the policy she was attempting to enforce, or she just wanted to rant at me in a sort of deranged power trip. She told me I couldn't come into the store due to store policy and state policy. My only option was curbside pickup. Period. Target's actual policy is: "Starting August 1, we're requiring guests to wear masks or face coverings in all of our stores, except for those with UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS and young children." State policy is essentially the same. The clerk would not show me their policy in print, so I had to look it up on their website after I left. I suppose if I had a heart attack in the middle of the cereal aisle, it would have been a preferred look for the store, than to show a little consideration for someone who has no problem with respectfully social distancing? I've been going to the Exeter store since it opened, but I will do my shopping at other grocery stores or farmers markets in the future, and all non essentials will be bought on Amazon.
