This Ross has a good variety of items, and I've found some great deals here over the years. The staff is always friendly and helpful during my visits. My only complaint is that the store can feel a bit disorganized at times, which makes it harder to browse. I always shop here when I can. I really love this store for the great deals I am able to find and wish there was one in New York! There are so many items you can shop for in the store that it can sometimes be overwhelming, especially becuase the store / shelves are unorganized and messy. However, I am still able to discover amazing finds! My favorite part of the store to shop are the dresses. There are a large variety of beautiful dresses in all different sizes from name brands to lesser known ones. Most of the prices for the dresses are $20 or less. I was able to find a gorgeous, elegant and fancy sparkly deep blue and gold long gown that is perfect for the New Years Eve party I plan to attend in LA. There were quite a few other dresses that fit well and looked great. The lady at the dressing room was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and there was plenty of space to try on clothes inside. I also like the section where there are journals, calendars, books and art supplies. The designs on the journals are really lovely and colorful. I also found a set of glittery gel pens that cost around $5. There are also other clothes: Jackets, sweaters, skirts, tops, pants - I managed to find a cool pair of jeans with floral pattern on it for only $6! Shoes, accessories, home goods, specialty and gourmet snacks, luggage, bath / body items and much more are all available for sale. Since it is the holiday time, the line was pretty long. I'm so disappointed with the service and the lack of care these employees have!! I asked the lady to be very careful with the purse I was purchasing because they had damaged that same purse but a different color at another location which I did not buy because they seem to think a damaged purse is ok. The lady helping me at the register damages this other purse in the same area and tries to justify herself by saying you can't even see it! She went to ask her manager if I could get a discount when I never asked for it I don't want a damaged purse!! The fact that they don't care and are very careless with the products us as customers are purchasing is very disappointing. read more

I like Ross. Sometimes it's hit or miss, but generally they have a pretty abundant selection of stuff. This location is next to Target, Marshall's, and Home Goods. Athletic gear= nah Shoes= Marshall's is better Home stuff- surprisingly ok, but Home Goods is across the way. I was lucky to find some leather Ralph Lauren espadrilles & black lace Toms for $30 each. I bought some glass storage containers, new towels, bath robe, dresses, 2 cute purses.... Honestly some of the shirts & dresses at Ross are the same quality as what you see at Francesca's boutiques, sooo it's worth checking out. read more

I purchased nearly $200 worth of items for my house and I left one small folding table at the checkstand as I was getting everything out to my car and I completely forgot about it. I called when I got home and even though they were slammed both Cynthia and most especially Nancy took the time to look for the item and even review security footage and saw that the guy behind me in line took the table - he did pay for it so that was nice but Nancy offered to credit refund to my credit card over the phone so that I wouldn't have to drive back and go in. On 9/25 Did some shopping here at this Ross tonight and was tremendously disturbed by what I witnessed in this store, and come to find out the despicable employee was the store manager!!... yes!! I was going to purchase a big area rug but it was hard browsing with the big rug in my cart so I asked if it was ok if I left my rug at the counter while I continue to shop, when I returned to purchase my item this woman name Nancy was playing mind games having a complete power trip with a teenager making a return, the teen told Nancy very clearly who she spoke with over phone concerning the matter, Nancy claimed she didn't know anything about this rolling her eyes and made the girl give a full detailed explanation again just to say oh yeah, I was told already after the girl loved. Nancy laughed about it with her employees proud of her actions this woman clearly has problems. read more

FILTHY Well, over the years I have experienced Ross stores to be dirty and disorganized. This location is definitely disgusting for the amount of dirt all over the floor and takes the top spot. Unfortunately I also had to use the restroom only to be horrified by its condition. I almost vomited. The worst shopping experience I've ever had. I ran out without buying anything. Awful. I suggest you wear a mask and gloves before entering. One of the reasons we write this kind of reviews is not only to inform other users but also to hope that the owners/managers of these businesses take notice and do something about it. honestly.. I really like Ross especially for the cute items and deals they have but I think it's just this location in particular that really makes me put the rating as I did. It's always packed with people no matter what day of the week. The store is really really messy but I also feel bad because as a person who also works in retail, I know how hard it can be to try and keep up with tidyness. I would come more often if there weren't so much people and a long line that goes to the back of the store :( the security guys are always nice though. I wanted to try on a 2 piece . Dress & cardigan but the security ink was installed on the left arm of the dress to the right sleeve of the cardigan. So the fitting room attendant said I need to have security ink remove at customer service before trying it on. The loss prevention guy told us it can't be removed because it's a 2 piece & I could try it on - basically showing it backwards. This store has extremely poor customer service. I love this place!! There's not to many places you can shop for the whole family living in this area. Plus we have a lot of military familys and collage kids that live in this area that need to save money. You can get more goodies here than the monterey mall offers!! Yes the staff is slow and can be rude but i don't bother even asking where things are. Weekends are crazy but its worth it for me. I always find something here I need or just want! From shower curtains to shoes to summer dresses. Even cute stuff for my daughter!! They have it all!! They even carry Betsey Johnson stuff down to the towels. You have to go to Macy's just to get her brand. And Ross sells her items for wayyyy cheaper than Macy's!! read more

I randomly went in to this store today for the first time in a great while. I was so pleasantly surprised by the wonderful staff!!!! Each person I encountered was nicer than the last. The last time I went in( a year ago maybe) , the staff were rude and miserable I didn't go back for that reason. The selection is interesting. I'm not going to lie. I grew up shopping boutiques and believed in brand names. But once I was out of college I realized I could find brand names at Marcel's aka Marshall's. But then I grew up even more and realized I could find everything I need at Ross. No joke. Ralph Lauren towels, shoes... Etnies, DC shoes, BCBG, my Nine West black pointy toed stilletos (I've gone through like 4 pairs) etc... Hurley galore, people think I'm sponsored by them. I buy all my casual clothes here for sure. Why would I spend over $60 on a hoodie when I can buy 5 for the price of 2? Shh! Don't tell anyone. Oh and don't go if you need customer service or a personal assistant. That is not their job. I can do a better job with my eyes closed and my right arm tied behind my back. I know where everything is (pathetic I know) and not just at this store, all the stores are pretty much built the same. Go here if you are ballsy enough to be incognito and play cool by yourself. Only shoppers with a good eye need to spend time here, if you are impatient or need your space when shopping, stay away. I live in Denver for 2 years and I never left without spending at least 3 to 4 hundred at one time... here I can't leave without spending at least 100. read more

I haven't gone into this location in a couple of months, but I doubt things have changed that much since my last visit. This location is decent, they have a nice selection of clothing for everyone, name brand for a cheap price. I usually buy some of my sons clothing here since he grows out of them so quickly. I usually find a cute pair of shoes for myself or my hubby. They have some decent household items and lots of other items. I usually find one or two things to buy even though I don't need them. The store is very disorganized and messy (due to shoppers not putting things back where they got them from; people just don't care). Some of the employees are nice and friendly others not so much, but I guess if I had to deal with cleaning up a store after messy customers I might not be so friendly either. read more

Name-brand and off-brand products at bargain prices. Great for kids' clothes. I mean, really, why spend a bundle when they're just going to stain their clothes and then grow out of them in a few months? They almost always have gift packs for newborns--useful for baby showers. They usually have a good selection of children's books, though the toys are generally made-in-China fall-apart ¢®@p. You can often find good CDs for kids, like a ten-pack of classical music. The DVD selection is more weighted towards recent releases, very few of which are worth bothering with, but there are also some older movies (usually more obscure ones) to be had for cheap. Much more hit-or-miss for housewares or adult clothes. Save yourself a trip back to return or exchange things by carefully examining your potential purchases for defects before buying. Clerks are meh. Many of the shoppers are slobs who, when they don't drop merchandise on the floor, put it back in the wrong place, all while letting their unruly children run wild. Can be kind of a Third-World experience at times (but the water is safe to drink). read more

Long lines make it a little inconvenient, but overall they did well with the pace. The cashier was professional and friendly. Ross is one of those places that you never know what you are going to find. Therefore, I don't mind going there every now and then to see what I can find. However, this Ross is probably the least favorite of mine in 5 states. The place doesn't have much stock and what they do have is in bad shape. It is dirty and they clearly have a shrinkage problem because they have a security guard at the front of the store to watch everyone come it. It is the "uniformed" version of the Walmart greeter, and unless you are selling diamonds, that sends a super special message. Can you find something good every now and then? Sure Is it worth the HUGE lines and SLOW service? Meh...not so much. You can find me at Marshall's across the parking lot, instead. read more

I love shopping at Ross . . .right up until its time to pay for my purchases. The lines are painfully long. Mostly only 2 registers open with at least 10 people waiting in them. Sometimes its just not worth it. If only they would hire more people. Oh and now all the shopping carts have those huge poles so that you can't take them out of the store. Not practical when you buy large items and try to carry them to your car. read more
