I was looking for something special for my wife's birthday and by chance I walked by Victorius in Pacific Grove- the clothes in the window immediately caught my attention. My wife's style is classic, sophisticated and fun. Tori, the owners selection is all that ! I had fun picking out a beautiful outfit for my wife and she loved it. Victorius and owner Victoria Carr are the best. One of my favorite shops in Pacific Grove. I only regret I did not discover Victorius sooner. I especially appreciate how the clothing items are grouped by color. Pleasant to the eye and so much easier to find something if you are looking for a specific color. Things are not too crowded. In the past I have found some great gift items here. No purchases during my most recent visit, but hope to return soon. Ladies, if you are anywhere in the vicinity of Pacific Grove, Monterey, Carmel, Aptos, even Santa Cruz and you are looking for that one "special" boutique, it will be well worth your while to visit Victorius!! Let me start by talking about the owner. She is delightful!! So welcoming, very friendly and very helpful. I love her style and often get ideas about what I want. Situated in downtown Pacific Grove, It is unique in the fact that she carries high quality, fashionable, beautiful and fun clothing you don't find just anywhere. She carries a wonderful collection of handmade jewelry, also unique in style and for any occasion. If you know about Hobo handbags (love them), she also carries a wonder collection of the latest. Then if you are looking for the perfect hat, which I recommend if your hair does what mine does in foggy conditions (frizz city), or you are looking for sun protection (always a good idea to protect your skin), she has lots to choose from. You will also find other accessories you are sure to love. I just can't say enough about what a charming, unique and wonderful boutique this is. You are sure to find something that you will treasure and enjoy the many compliments you will get. I was just there this week and walked out with several pieces and a new beautiful necklace that I am anxious to wear and show off. Another thing is that you will be shopping local and supporting the success of this establishment as well as the local community. It is my favorite store ( and my sisters ) in the area and I'm sure it will be yours. Please... we need to keep her doors open for many more years to come. I can't say enough about this boutique clothing store! The clothes are always trending yet classic. The quality of the items is top notch and the service is outstanding but not in a gooey flattering way to encourage you to buy something, but in an honest constructive way. I asked about another piece and if was too big and did it work on me, and the answer was explained that it did work for me because of where the shoulders hit me and how it fit my frame. Whenever I come to the Monterey bay I shop here, it's so nice to have unique clothing options and not look like everyone else who is shopping at Target and Macys! read more

One of the nice things about Pacific Grove is cool little shops like this. If you hate chain stores like I do this is a welcome relief. Bought a nice scarf for my wife and a silk purse to go with it (no silk purse jokes, please). There is stuff from all over the world and cool local craft. makers, too (the purse was local, though made from imported kimono silk). It was a hit with the wife. Anyway, very nicely run. I thought they deserved a more current review. Pretty sure it's recently new management. read more
