Went to this store to enjoy myself on my day off. Ciera, the Loss Prevention Officer, approached an elderly man sitting on furniture and told him he could not sit on the furniture for sale. He told her "what if I am looking at buying it?" She explained that he could sit on it but he can't linger on the furniture. It should have ended here... BUT IT DIDN'T. Ciera stood next to me (a random shopper/witness) and continued to talk loudly right next to him accusing him saying, "aint gonna guy anything!! talking about he gonna buy something! He scrolling on his phone...." It was very rude, very loud and bad tone, and went on for quite a while. It truly ruined my shopping experience. I approached the manager and started to tell her the story. When Ciera saw that I was talking to the manger, she approached and started talking loudly over me as if she didn't want me to talk to the manager. Comes the elderly man and he admits that Ciera was rude to him. Ciera was behaving wildly, speaking loudly, saying, I am a grown women, when I asked her to let me speak. She started to repeat her entire name, including her middle name in a very bad tone when I peaked at her name tag. ALL of this behavior happened in front of the manager who could not control Ciera or her bad behavior. Take about chaos and clutter! This store is located fairly close to home, and sometimes I stop in for some good finds. I can't say that the store is kept organized at all times. There's been so many times I pop in and each department, from shoes, to bags, woman's clothing to home goods, things are always scattered and all over the place. Finding something in your size may be a hunting game. Great place for good deals, if you can find it. They have a really huge selection of items being that it is Christmas time, great prices as usual, the store is a little chaotic so you do have to look around and dig through things to find items that you want. I do like that. They do have self check out so you don't have to wait in those extremely long lines as long as you have 10 items or less. read more

Ross is one of those places I go to get great deals on workout clothing and bathing suits. I always find things on clearance and even when they are not, the prices are excellent. I like the new addition of self checkout which makes it much quicker for shopping when only buying an item or two. Bonus, if you are 55+ there is a 10% discount on Tuesdays. read more

This is a good size Ross store. It's located on the corner end of a large shopping plaza. There's plenty of parking in the lot. The store is bright, clean & usually well stocked. For a Ross store it's organized. There are a couple of areas that tend to be messy like the shoe & fitting room areas. Walk paths & aisles are on the narrow side. The checkout lanes can get long with lengthy wait times. Some cashiers are friendly. As with most Ross stores, I feel, it's hit or miss finding items but I have found great pieces for my home & closet here. read more

Let me Start by saying, I don't shop at Ross and I don't think I've ever shopped at a department store with a loss prevention employee stationed outside the dressing rooms. I am a man, dressed nicely but in jeans and was on a lunch break with coworkers when my pants split open at the crotch. It was pretty bad. This Ross was in the shopping center so that's where I went. I awkwardly found what I needed and got in line behind 14 customers who strangely were all making returns. I was the only one buying anything. 20 minutes later I pay for my new pants and rather than walking out the door, walk with purpose toward the dressing room to fix the glitch. There was a lady standing nearby but nothing distinguishing her from anyone else. I didn't think much but, assumed she was waiting for someone trying something on to return later. I'm in the dressing room for about 5 seconds when this lady barges in and says. "What do you think you are doing." I explained my pants are ripped and I was putting on my new pants while flashing the receipt. After examining the reciept for about 30 seconds she then proceeded to get more and more belligerent about how I failed to acknowledge her. I offered to let her examine the hole in my pants to help corroborate the story and how I didn't see anything identifying her from any other customer but she was still adamant that she was not acknowledged and how that was not OK. Not being acknowledged came up no less than 15 times. I said nothing as I left, but she got more belligerent when I felt inclined to leave my ripped pants behind in the dressing room. Apparently so much so that she called up front to have them tell me to go retrieve my pants as I was leaving. I was pretty confident that I wasn't going to be charged with reverse shoplifting so left anyways. This store is pure trash and if anyone at Ross cares go see for yourselves. read more

The loss prevention gentleman greeted me nicely and mentioned there is no drinks allowed in the store ! This is my day off and I wanted to catch coffee and shop. I'm not a little kid for them to tell me this like I can't be careful with my beverage and that I would spill it. They lost me as a customer and will not be coming back to this location anytime soon. read more

This place always has long lines! Every time I've come here I've had to wait at least 30 minutes or more in line! They have a line for exchanges/returns and one for purchases. Today there was one cashier doing returns and 2 to 3 doing purchases. I was in line with one other woman while 1 was being helped with a return. So technically 3 of us were doing returns. The purchases line, during the time I was there, had 12 people. Those 12 got serviced before the 3 returns were done! Although the 1st woman with returns took quite a long time and then after finishing with that cashier moved over to the manager, while 2 of us still stood in line for quite some time, the return cashier took the next lady in the purchases line who lied and claimed she was there longer than we were!! And she was in the wrong line anyway. The other woman & I both stated that she was NOT there before us, but he ignored what we said! read more

I loved almost every bit of this store, but who am I fooling?! lol I love most if not all Ross'. The shoes section wasn't anything impressive. I'm accustomed to a larger selection for the size 8 so I didn't spend much time there. The handbags though...they got me...such a great selection at great prices. I walked out with three handbags (insert face palm). Truth be told it was almost 4 but I got a [little] handle on myself. This particular store had a better petite selection than most. I've noticed this in a few stores now, but the petite section is split and mixed in with either swimwear or maternity making it harder to find my size in petite. Nonetheless, I found a cute skirt, pair of Anne Klein pants, and ripped jeans. The dress section especially the clearance wasn't that impressive; in fact, it was lacking. So this was another section I skipped over rather quickly. Then, I found the juniors section and boy was this a mistake! The clearance racks were filled with good, cheap finds. There was only one register open even though this one had like 6 which is more than you're typical Ross. In their defense, it was 11 at night. This is the Ross across from the Simon Sawgrass Mills Mall. I have been here so many times, and have found a few things here and there, but it's not a favorite. Packed with tourists, I really avoid it! Nevertheless, I agree with Christian Louboutin when he said, "A shoe is not only a design, but it's a part of your body language, the way you walk. The way you're going to move is quite dictated by your shoes." Following suit, I try to scope out the store for a new cute low-heeled pair of shoes. While the service is not something I can personally complain about, they don't have many registers open for the amount of sales they do. On a busy Saturday afternoon with a line of more than 30 people there was only '1' cashier on duty, when I asked for the manager I was informed by the greeter he/she wasn't in. After requesting to please get more cashiers on the floor, they finally got 3 more, it took us 30 minutes to pay for our purchases. Unacceptable service!!! read more

It was an upsetting experience. We tried to buy some things and had to return things too. We had fun going around and looking for the perfect items but couldn't find much. Once we decided it was getting late we decided to go to returns to give back anything we didn't want. Once we got there we realized that there was no one to serve us. We waited half and hour and finally decided to ask what was going on. They said we have to have patience and we kept waiting. It was around 40 minutes and my family and me where getting tired. We finally got someone to serve us and then they told us that the receipt was incorrect. Over all, Ross had rude employees, bad service, and it was the third time they did this. Ross is a great place for cheaper everything. Clothes, shoes, handbags, and housewares. They are a little cheaper than Burlington Coat Factory, but they don't always offer the plethora of brand names you find at BCF. This Ross is right across the street from the Sawgrass Mall. They don't have an awesome selection, but I appreciate that the employees keep it neat and tidy. Some of the other Ross stores I have been to have been awful, clothes everywhere, almost zero organization. This one is clean and items are generally where they are supposed to be. read more

Horrible attitude from cashier. I went in to return a shirt that I got for my husband that didn't fit him. I had the receipt and everything and when I got to the register the lady said she couldn't return it because there was a small stain on the front of the shirt. She was claiming that he wore the shirt and got it dirty and now want to return it. I had told her before that I'm returning because it didn't fit my husband so i don't know why she would think he wore a shirt that didn't fit him. Also, why would he wear a shirt that has tags on it??? I told her it must have been dirty when we bought it because it was never worn. She said that her store would NEVER sell a shirt with a stain (keep in mind it was a pretty small stain - looked like a smudge) the part that angers me the most is that I have definitely bought shirts that were defective or slightly dirty. People try these shirts on (pre covid) in the stores, they can fall on the floor, even get stepped on and you're telling me there absolutely no chance there could've been a small smudge on the shirt??? What if i came in to return the shirt because it was dirty? Are you going to say I can't? Ridiculous. read more

We go to this Ross probably every week, or every 2 weeks. Most of the staff is super friendly, and they've been getting so much better in organizing the store. But I also have a few complaints; 1. They need to work on keeping that bathroom clean. More than 500 people go in that bathroom a day, they're always out of seat liners, soap, and it always stinks. There should be someone assigned to just clean the bathrooms. 2. Please don't be another Walmart, have more than 2 registers open, and one if those is usually the return/exchange line, so it's really only one. I've gone and have had to wait for over 10 minutes in the line for 1 item, sometimes it's so bad, I've had to walk out. Please have enough employees working at a time, during the day or night, to have enough registers open. 3. This is the only Ross I've ever been to that asks us to take the hangers off and hang them on a rack. I'm not trying to be rude, but isn't that your job? I already have a job, and I go in there to shop and spend my money, not to work. I don't think it is right to ask the customers to take the hangers off of their clothes to 'make the checkout faster', it's not customer service. Hopefully the store manager of this location reads this and starts making changes. This location is too busy for this to be constantly happening. read more

Just like any other typical Ross store you will find great deals I don't know price on designer name brand merchandise. I can't find a single fault in their merchandise the one thing that I can find a ball in is their personality hospitality and on organization. Are usually visit the store during my lunch break at work to buy regular household things that I would need. This specific Ross store has several household items, typically spices and Decour pieces for the kitchen that my girlfriend likes. There are several employees here that are rude and just don't have any customer service skills at all asking them a question is as if you weren't asking one at all. Others can be very helpful and have a good person to person skills. This is a fault and management needs to be proper training when he comes to how to deal with customers and their needs. Second, I'm just surprised on how un organized the store is several merchandise not being were supposed to be finding clothing in the home section and finding items from the home section in the clothing section shoes scattered all over the store. I went to self check out , I'm scanning my items and this employee phara came and grab 2 of my items , and look at the price and look at me , one of the items have a tag that only employees can put it. and she look at me and say with attitude this is not the price !! And I look at her and I told her well I found it with that price and it have that tag that only employee can put , she keep the item and the other one that it was on sale too and she was like if you want it you get it with the real price, ross should not have employees Like her I ask for the manager and she say im the mananger when I know damn well that she is not the manager it is stuart!!! My husband and daughter wanted to pick up a few things at Ross so we stopped into the one on sunrise. My husband had our medium sized dog with him and I had an almost empty clear cup Starbucks. (You could see it was 80 % EMPTY. While walking in the female security guard let my husband walk past with the dog and stopped me and told me I couldn't come in with my almost empty coffee. Of course we all left. I so tired of horrible customer service. There are hundreds of options to shop and we all have choices. I won't go back there again. read more

If there was an option to leave 0 stars I would have. I did not even get 5 feet through the door when I was stopped by a knockoff security woman. I was not permitted to enter the store because I had half a cup of water in my hand. This is unacceptable treatment. If no drinks are permitted in the store there should be a sign on the door or window so customers do not need to be humiliated by one of their workers. Another just OK Ross location.. really if you have been to one of these, you have been to them all. Those of us who have been hitting these places for years have generally grown disenchanted with this chain and those like it as the quality of merchandise has fallen off considerably. I wish I could give 0 stars to this biohazard of a store. Not only are the managers rude and unhelpful, the store is dirty and completely unorganized. My son actually touched menstrual blood that they had a chair for sale. When I told the manager my concern for his health and asked her for help, she treated me like I was crazy and never apologized. I had to make repeated requests for an incident report so that I could take him to the hospital for a test. They completely refused and took the chair to a back room. When another manager Veronica came out, she took down my name and address and then said she wanted photos of my son. I again asked her for a report and she said no that everything was internal and nothing was ever given to me and she kept asking me for photos of my child. So to Veronica and Dionne - I will be taking this to cooperate and won't rest until this is handled by the proper channels. The only helpful person who was Kind was a cashier named Earl and I feel bad for him that he has to work with those horrible people. I'm very surprised to have received this kind of treatment by such a large store brand but I guess it has more to do with the terrible management at this store which will ultimately be the reason other stores will be getting business in the future. read more

This is a great place to shop for brand-name clothes and items without paying what you'd typically pay for them. It's worth visiting once in a while to see if they have anything you like.
