5 Stars for a boutique on Park Ave where normal (see: no rich) people can actually shop!…read more I was leaving Briarpatch and had a little time to kill so I figured I'd do some aspirational browsing through a shop next door. Lucky for me, that shop was Forema and they have not succumbed to the Park Avenue tax (which only exists in my head and not with the state or city) so there were affordable options! There are plenty of racks of clothes and gifts but what called to me was the jewelry. Each piece was unique and there was something for everyone. Though it leans pretty boho chic, I imagine even the preppiest of sorority girls (Rollins) would find something to fawn over. I ended up buying a few necklaces, each priced at under $20, and a few tiny rings. Though the necklaces aren't real gold or silver, I see similar designs at stores nearby (and online) for ridiculously inflated prices. One necklace I wore even into the shower eventually lost its gold sheen and turned a dark silver, but I actually dig the look and am still happy with it. Overall, I'm thankful for a place on the avenue that caters to a broader economic audience at least.

I love to shop here for shoes and clothing brands that I love at more affordable prices. Most recently I was looking for leather loafers for work and shorts for summer. I was able to find both! I got some very comfortable Cole Haan loafers and a couple pairs of athletic shorts/skorts, plus a pair of jean shorts. They had some really cute pajamas as well, but I used self control and did not purchase them. I also love to shop here for toddler shoes for my son. They have discounted Adidas, Converse, New Balance, etc. in his tiny size and they are just adorable.

I feel like unless if you're getting something specifically name brand that you cannot find at Ross or Burlington then it will be good, but I don't feel that they have that many trendy pieces they have a few and then most of it is just collared stuff. The shoes also.. there are only a few that you cannot find at Ross, but as far as the sandals and stuff like that, if they are Calvin Klein or Steve Madden and Dolce Vita, those are going to be way more expensive here than at Ross or Burlington. Other than that it's still a fun place to shop. I just didn't see anything this time around and spent so long almost an hour and a half and couldn't really find anything but one bag and a pair of seamless shorts.

They had Kelly's Ice Cream and champagne ready for all the guests at tonight's preview event along with a really nice gift with purchase, which was so a thoughtful touch. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, especially in the fitting room area. They were very busy, as to be expected, but had a perfect waitlist flow going and I didn't have to wait long at all to try on my clothes. This store is a great addition to the newly revamped Winter Park Village shopping scene and I'm excited to come back again soon to check out more merch. This store is worth a visit if you have ordered online and have never visited a storefront in person.

There was one salesgirl (she was a young lady) working and talking with one customer. She didn't acknowledge us, no hello, no let me know if you need anything. Total ignoring us. I found a couple items I might have tried on but I don't want to spend money where I'm ignored. So we walked out and my daughter said "Thank you" and the girl finally spoke to say bye. This was Tuesday at 12:15. We went down to Southern Tide and were immediately greeted. We ended up getting my husband a shirt and the sales lady was friendly, not pushy. I have always loved Francesca's, so I was very excited to see one open in the Winter Park Village…read more(I work in the WP Village and like to browse during my lunch break). Like most Francesca's, this one is on the smaller side, but the layout is smart, and I don't feel too cramped when I'm in there. They have everything from pretty dresses, to jewelry, to candles, to hats, to soft sweaters, to wine glasses and everything in between. I would say most of their stuff is a little on the girly side, but you can still find some nice, classic pieces. From what I've experience so far, the staff is very friendly, and they've been having some good sales. It's honestly hard for me to walk in there and not want to buy at least 3 things, so be prepared to fight with your inner shopping demon if you intend on "just browsing".
