I called my regular Dentist and was told we'll have to squeeze you in on Monday. I was almost pleading with him. To no avail I was told to call Monday morning at 815am to be squeezed in. I looked on the internet and found Washington family dentist. Even though it was an hour before they closed, after explaining my situation Dr. Riesenberg felt it was serious enough to see me. I had never met him before . I was not a patient of the practice. Dr Riesenberg and his staff were very accommodating. They put me at ease. So it turns out I had a infection which is a serious issue an needed to be dealt with today not Monday . Dr Riesenberg also did some tricks to ease my pain quickly. Not only do they overcharge you and won't refund your overpayment…read moreback until your insurance claim is finalized, they advise what work is needed only to find out by getting a second opinion that it isn't needed. Another disturbing fact is their office claims they are so on top of the HIPPA Law however the office staff has no problem speaking your information out loud when your sitting amongst other patients waiting in the small reception area. Even when your in the dental chair, there is no privacy as the other patients being worked on can hear all the conversations that are taken place. I heard one persons social security being rattled off when I was waiting in the reception area...what is the purpose of filing out privacy act forms? The staff too is very rude and treats patients like garbage. All they want is signature after signature and take your money. If I could give this office a zero for rating I would as they really are not professional. In fact Dr. Magda's name is on the practice however she is never at the Stroudsburg location. Her affiliate dentist is young and has zero knowledge on what she is doing. She did work and my husband had a second opinion done, only to be told the work perform was not done correctly and wrong material was used. Stay away from this practice and their other locations as well.
