Took my car here to get it fixed and after I payed for what I thought was fixed they said instead of driving you should tow it back? But I'm just confused to if it's fixed why would I have to tow it back? It's drivable yet shouldn't be driven Just alittle disappointed because I didn't mind paying for my vehicle to be fixed I payed with no hesitation but to not be guaranteed after payment was made sucks. read more

Honest, trustworthy people and dependable service. I have been coming to Rossi's for years and one thing I can say is that they have always been fair and consistent. Their work and service repairs have been performed with complete competence and confidence, in that this is my second BMW that I have entrusted to them instead of dealing with the BMW "stealership" directly. Their prices are fair, competitive and upfront. That is something I can really come to appreciate in this day and age. No haggling, pressure or sense of upsell from the team at Rossi's. During my most recent visit, I came in thinking I was encountering a brake system or service issue. Steve, the Service Mgr., took the time out of his schedule to personally ride with me in my car to experience the issue for himself and immediately spotted the problem. I was able to see the problem firsthand as well --while he drove the car during that time. He then took me into the garage and showed me exactly what was really my issue with a similar BMW that was currently on his auto bay lift. Turns out it was a separate issue which was actually not even associated to my brake system. And, here I was thinking it was time for a brake pads and rotors service that can be expensive. It turned out to be a more simpler, cheaper problem to fix. He was able to identify the problem and provide repair alternatives before leaving the shop. I must say, I really appreciated the 1 on 1 time spent to identify and address my problem. This is something special and rare, as to most auto mechanics around the city are too busy to speak to you in full and prefer you to just drop the car off....to only call you hours later --- which sometimes causes misunderstanding, misdiagnosis of the car issue and/or wasted time trying to explain your concerns all over again. You get what you pay for at Rossi's and that's the confidence that the job is going to get done right, the first time and repaired as requested. I also appreciate that they make recommendations on potential other repairs or unseen issues and are able to explain the problems noted in detail for you to understand. They are very efficient on estimating completion times and providing updates on your car as well though-out the process. Nothing but good things to say about Rossi's, Rod, Steve (Service Mgr.), Hamilton (Office Mgr.) and their team. Give these guys a try.....you would be glad you did. read more

The team went above and beyond to ensure we fixed the leak in my coolant system after I'd gone to multiple places already to locate and fix the leak. Someone rubbed their car's bumper against the passenger side of my car, leaving a long black mark. I was livid to return to my parked car to see the mark. I washed the car, hoping the mark would disappear, to no avail. I went to an auto body shop. I had to make an appointment to get a quote, and they said I'd have to return and leave my car. Geeze! I left that place, drove up to Rossi's, and a fantastic man in the office - I want to give him credit, but I can't remember his name! - came out to see my car on the spot. He said it wasn't significant, returned to the shop, returned with some Gum Cutter, and rubbed the mark off like magic before my eyes. And then charged me nothing. NOTHING!?! Who has this kind of customer service anymore? I'll forever go back to Rossi's whenever I have an issue. Accessible - you don't have to make an appointment to get a quote! Practical - if it's simple let it be simple instead of trying to upcharge and gauge. Kind - he OFFERED to help. WOW. Professional - timely, clear information, and respectful. I brought my BMW in for a standard oil change and tire rotation. They handled this in a few hours and did a full diagnostic on my car. He explained some issues and showed me pictures to confirm. Wow, wow this review is long overdue. I've been coming to Rossi's since 2001, nearly 17 years! They are super professional, reasonable in terms of price, and great mechanics. When I moved out of state for a few years, before I paid for a repair, I called Rossi to check in with them. Now that I'm back in the area, this is my preferred repair shop. Rossi's did an excellent job with my dad's VW Eos convertible. The top was leaking and the folks at Rossi's cleaned out the drains, lubricated/moisturized the trim, and made a slight adjustment so it would close a bit more snugly. Rossi's went above and beyond any expectations in repairing my 2002 Saab 9-3. We got a recommendation from another customer and Rod took great care of us and the car. He took care of an installation we were not able to do ourselves, but then also did a number of other minor repairs to make sure the car is safe for our sons' to drive. He explained things we could expect to need in the future based his extensive experience with Saabs and kept the cost low by looking for lower cost parts for our older car. I came across Rossi's Automotive Service because I was looking for a BMW repair shop that wasn't far from home. I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and friendliness of the crew and appreciated how they resolved my major issue: a stuck key fob; my car wouldn't start either and I had to get it towed there. I also appreciated the information about getting my media system repaired and will definitely will consider taking care of that. My days of taking my car to the dealership are long over given the age of my car, and Rossi's fits the bill for me. I would highly recommend Rossi's to service your BMW; you'll save $$$$ when compared to taking it to the service department. Brought my Volvo to them to evaluate the brakes and change my oil. They gave me an estimate of over $900 to change my front and rear brake pads and rotors. I nearly died. I bought my car to another shop which I trusted more who told me I only needed to replace my front pads, no need to change my rotors and that repair only totaled $170. These guys nearly cheated me out of $700!! I had evaluated my brakes and rotors myself so I had a guess as to what needed to be replaced and I knew something was wrong when they told me everything have to be replaced! They also charged me $126 for an oil change! Total rip off, will not go back. read more

They took advantage of my father and brother and overcharged them and convinced them to pay for services they did not originally want, and would not release the vehicle to my senior father until he paid for them. we came for a diagnostic of the vehicle which was supposed to be about $80 dollars. they ended up charging more then the verbal amount quoted, and also charge a diagnostic fee of over $100 dollars to FIX a radio that was not broken and only needed a fuse, Thats like charging $100 to put in a light bulb. Crooks. I can believe them. My father $78 year old senior taken advantage of,. Do not send people her. Not recommended. Wow is all I can say! The owner Rod is amazing, he truly takes pride in every vehicle that enters his shop. I had a very unique situation and vehicle that no one could figure out. I took my vehicle to Rods shop and he not only knew and had worked on similar vehicles which was quite suprising, but actually honed in on the problem immediatly. Unfortunately the news was not good and was potentially looking at another engine, so it was not good. However he said not to give up hope and he was going to try something. Not only did he try something outside the box, but then called me a day later to give me some excellent news. He was able to restore my compression to my engine that was 45 psi, and restored it to specs to 175 psi. There was a few injector issues but very minor compared to replacing an engine. He saved me at least 5000 dollars from changing an engine. Absolutley unbelievable! It still shocks me how much he saved me and the honesty and explaination of the process. You know he could have totally convinced me I needed a new engine, but he went the extra mile and did some old school mechanics tricks that no one else would have done. I cannot say enough about Rod and his shop for the work he has done and restore my faith in a true honest shop that is not after your money. He seems to specialize in BMWs so I will tell you this with no hesitation, if you don't want to pay the extreme pricing of a BMW dealer( as I did) take it to Rods shop. He can do it all, and at a fraction of the price. I only wish I knew him 6 months ago after spending 6000 dollars at the BMW dealer who still did not fix it all, he easily would have and at a fraction of the cost! Rod has a true an honest shop, and he now is my new mechanic for life! I must say that i am really disappointed with the service that I've received from this Rossi's. I have been to this business 4 to 5 times and each after each visit when they have "fixed" an issue, another issue occurs within a few days. Each visit i have spent at least $300...the max that i have spent is $700. On my last visit i asked Rod to do a scan over my car to make sure nothing else was wrong with it...he assured me he would and now less than 2 weeks later i have yet another issue. It's suspicious that all these new issues keep arising after they look into my car. I will not be going back to them. They have a communication problem and i no longer trust them. read more

I stopped by this shop with a tire valve problem with my wife's Volvo. This was not going to be a big money maker for them but one of the owners was very helpful. I think his name was Steve. He did not have the part but took time to look up an option that would save me money and printed it out. Armed with this, I made a few calls and went to get the part. I returned to Rossi to have it installed only to find that the store sold me the wrong part. Now, Steve's brother Rob (or visa versa) made a call to a local dealer, found the part and called me to explain the issue and where to go to pick up the right part. I ran to the dealer and got back where Rob had it installed. He saved me over 150 bucks and made a loyal customer in the process. I have been fixing cars for many years and know a lot of shops. Use another mechanic. Verify the price of parts. This shop overcharges and does not do a thorough diagnosis. Ask questions and demand that the vehicle is driven first before agreeing to costly repairs. Rod at Rossi's Automotive became upset when it was requested to diagnose the vehicle after getting it started. He also quoted the price of a part that was over $400 higher than sold by the dealership. Every customer has the right to ask questions. read more
