I've had my oil change done here in under an hour and now I'm currently having a few filters replaced. I did a walk in around 9:36 AM today (essentially my only free day) which was nice since they really just accommodated based on my scheduling needs. I would recommend paying cash or debit card to prevent Any additionally charges using a credit card. Otherwise, I'm very happy with their customer service, affordability and honesty. Would definitely recommend to others and return for future car needs.

You can schedule appointments online for oil changes and maintenance. Don't come here if you are looking for a fancy waiting room and shuttle service. Do come here if you want honest service, straight talk, and mechanics who actually care and will fix your issues. I suggest bringing a ride if you can - easiest place to park is to turn to the right immediately after entering the lot and parking on the side, and then walking to the garage. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

Pick up pursue Brad in late but she arrived at 10:30. Just a young lady. No uniform. No ID Card. Calling me to tell him if she's here to pick up my car. As far as RODA that's very unprofessional. How am I supposed to trust a $40,000 Car to person to shows up? It says give me your car. I took a picture of a drivers license and add her my Car Keys I received a text about 1115 in the morning to take my car had arrived at the Shop 1230. No update 130. No update, so I called the Shop and they said it was in the key to be worked on. 230. No update. No response from the road to Shop. I caught an Uber to the Shop which had my expenses. $14.75. When I arrived at the Shop, there was five guys in the lobby. Just seen around. I think they were employees. And when I asked her about my car they gave me this. Oh shit look and he said oh, they're about to pull it in. The time was now three that day and they asked me if I wanted the Service after all. And I said hell. No it took you four hours not to do an oil change. That's upsurd . Give me my Keys. I fed a complaint on the road to app. I received your text and someone was gonna reach out to me. Today is Wednesday, February 11 and no one has ever reached out to me. I will never use a Service again. Worse Customer Service experience I've experienced ever, and I will badmouth this Company on social media to all my coworkers to all my acquaintance to everybody. Very very unprofessional for a business that trying to start up. By the way, you're $60 oil change out to have it done at Mr. Tire the next day for $49.95 Go figure!!!

No one's better than Auto Clinic Care! After seeing all the great reviews of Auto Clinic Care throughout the internet, I decided to give them a shot for my recent 90K maintenance work. Boy was I glad I did. I found everyone from the folks at the front desk (Johny and David - one of the owners) to the mechanics to be extremely friendly, courteous, and honest. Sitting in the office waiting for my car, I was amazed with how well both Johny and David knew their customers even asking about their family. It was obvious that these were long-time customers as their interactions were so genuine. This is something you definitely do not see at the dealers or any franchise shops. These guys don't pressure anyone into unnecessary services; they take the time to explain everything. They were so honest with everyone. By the way, if you need to go somewhere (e.g. shopping or work) after dropping off your car, they'll be more than willing to give you a lift. That's just great customer service. Another positive, free secured WIFI is available in the waiting area. Are you tired of going to the dealer or franchise shop for your car? Looking for a great, friendly, family-owned place? I was getting an oil change at Jiffy Lube on Nicholson Lane, in Rockville. When the technicians finished the work, they tried to start my car after, it would not start. They suspected as I did, knowing a little about cars, that it was the starter and recommended that I talk to "Johnny" at Auto Clinic Care, that was located directly behind them. He got my car into his garage right away, ordered the part that I needed, it was delivered and installed with in an hour!! I also asked if he could check a leak that I had on a tire. He brought me into the garage, while the car was on the lift to show me that tire...it was completely worn on the inside - I could not believe I had been driving like that! (I commute on the ICC!). He found a spare used tire that he had in the back and replaced it so, that I could drive safely until the new one arrived. So nice! I would have been stuck all weekend, It was a rainy stressful day up until Auto Clinic Care. The staff is so warm and friendly. Karen, the Office Manager is awesome! We had coffee and chatted in the cozy reception area, while the repairs were being done. They're so knowledgeable and accommodating and just make you feel at ease right away. When the brakes on my 2005 Saturn Ion went bad, I needed to find a new auto-repair place to go, since my former garage had gone out of business. Based on favorable on-line reviews, I thought I'd give Auto Clinic Care a shot, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! I called them on a Monday morning to see if there was an opening, and their receptionist, Karen, told me to bring the car right in. While I waited, they diagnosed the problem, found a few other issues, and gave me what seemed like a reasonable estimate for the whole job, which I accepted. Then they gave me a ride home! When the car was done that afternoon, I paid the bill with a credit card over the phone - exactly what they estimated - and they delivered the car direct to my door! Everything was done right, the car is in excellent shape, and I couldn't have asked for better service or higher professionalism. I took my 99 VW Cabrio here after Jiffy Lube forgot to put in an air filter in my car. The mistake ended up damaging the mass air flow sensor. Josh, who I think told me just started working there, took really good care of me - walked me through what was wrong and documented the issue so that I could hold jiffy lube accountable. I ended up getting a full refund so I used the money to get my serpentine belt replace. Josh noticed that there was a second belt that was cracking and instead of pressuring me to get it replaced, he invited me down to the shop to show me how it looked and explain why I needed a new one. I ended up getting both replace and so far my car is running well. I felt that Josh was truthful and matter of fact. That's all you want for especially when fixing a car can be so expensive. No one wants to deal with car repairs. And no one really expects to meet two kind people trying to provide car maintenance solutions in Rockville MD. But that is what you will find in Auto Clinic Care. You know why I think the team is superior---because before the pandemic I came in with a burnt out tail light. They hooked my car up to the diagnostic machine and found a few other pricey things for me to consider. (THat's a key word--consider). I said thank you and I would come back in the early Spring to have the items fixed. And then my car sat for about 12 months. Today, I brought my car in because it was having a hard time starting---it was the battery. And they fixed it, and said when I was ready, I should consider the other items pre-pandemic. I had to get some work done on my 2004 F150. I knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle but James McFadden did a state inspection as well. The things that were wrong with my truck was clearly indicated on the report. What I like is that he didn't add anything extra into the report and that made me feel great knowing that these guys are thorough and at the same time, they do their jobs. No extra add ons, no price gauging; he even tried to match the new tires with the old tires on my truck but found cheaper tires to use. These people do business the good old fashioned way and that's why I don't take my vehicles anywhere else but here to James at Mcfaddens. Great people, great service, great prices. I serviced my car at Auto Clinic Care and I could not be happier! Johny and Karen are accommodating, friendly, personable and professional. I needed to have my transmission fluid flushed out, air conditioning condenser and compressor replaced, glovebox latch repaired and the air filter changed. The needed my car for 2 days and set me with a rental car at their reduced rate. They called the rental place and arranged everything. They also called to keep me abreast of how the service was going so there were no surprises. Financially he did not over charge nor did they nickel dime me like dealerships do. He researches the least costly route for his customers without compromising top quality parts. I highly recommend Auto Clinic Care to everyone and anyone with a car. Best customer service I've had from an auto shop. The work is accurate, reasonably priced, delivered when promised, no add on charges, and fixed right the first time by subject experts. Doesn't matter the make, model, year, or type of repair (including tires) these guys do it all. You call and get a person on the phone (in less than 4 rings) and not a machine or computer. They know you by name and your car by the history. My used 10 year old grand Cherokee at 158K runs like new from 80 mph to 4x4 low in the country without hesitation. Support small business and dump the chains and big box stores. Without annual inspection in Maryland, these guys make sure every service is focused on your safety and overall value. I was so pleased with the service on my car yesterday. I brought it in because the fan was making a weird thumping noise (and a terrible smell). I needed the car back the same day in order to drive my daily carpool, and I could see that they were really busy that day, but they still did the repair and had the car ready for me in time that afternoon. It turned out there was a dead mouse in the vent! Ahh! They not only cleaned everything out but used an eco-friendly air freshener to remove the smell, so now my car smells like oranges. :) JJ was terrific and Karen, as always, was so sweet and efficient. Their service was professional and timely. I was getting ready to drive halfway across the country and brought my truck in the day before I left for an oil change. They noticed that my truck seriously needed a part fixed that could have lead to a fatal accident had I not had it fixed. They were able to order the part and fix it that day. They were also willing to stay open after hours to ensure I could leave for my trip on time. They diagnosed the problem accurately and described to me why my truck was making certain noises and how that could and probably would have resulted in an accident, had I not fixed it before driving that many miles. It is not very common to find a service which not only provide very high quality work, but also gives you a gift of kindness and understanding of your some times difficult circumstances. I was fortunate to find such a service recently. I am talking about "Auto Clinic Care" on 5531 Nicholson Lane in Rockville, MD. I had two car problems in a row and being an old man with extremely tight budget I thought I would not be able to pay for repair and would have to switch to public transportation. I was wrong! I purchased a used car, and went there for Maryland State inspection. The work was done in the time they told me. The staff (Karen) was very helpful. I did not have the insurance card with me (the car was recently bought and I have not yet received it in the mail), but Karen gave me her FAX number, so the insurance company can fax it so I could bring it to MVA together with the inspection report for registration and tags. The only glitch would be that the parking space is somewhat small, so getting in and out is a bit of a hassle, but that is nothing against their work. read more

Auto Clinic Care correctly diagnosed and fixed my squeaky brakes after another shop failed to. I had rear brakes done at another shop in May and they said my front brakes were fine. However I continued to experience squeaking brakes after that and took the car back three times to the first shop only to told my rear brakes were fine. Apparently it did not occur to them that the noise could be coming from the front brakes. Auto Clinic Care checked both sets of brakes and found pitted front rotors and worn front pads. I would recommend this car repair shop to anyone. The owner Johnny was friendly and knows his stuff. My 2007 VW transmission was on the blink. I dropped my car off (they took me to work) went to my job, picked it up that evening (which was a Friday) and Johnny told me to bring back on Monday and he wanted to work on it again (drain and re-fill it) which would be on his dime. It could not have been better. I was driving along and heard a weird sound when I used the Brakes. I pulled in auto clinic care , they looked at them right away and only suggested replacing the front brakes that had gone bad. In and out in less than 90 minutes and they didn't try to sell me up, or make me pay more than we needed. I have taken two cars to Johny's shop at Auto Clinic Car I have always been pleased with their service and the quality of the work. This is one of the few shops you can trust and know he will do the right thing. Once I had an issue with some work and Auto Clinic Care took care of it at his expense. By 1pm they had gotten to examining my car and found a nail in the tire. The report they give is very meticulous in detailing the damage, and George at the front desk was happy to go through the report with me. They ordered a replacement tire and were able to get my car fixed by 6pm! For the entire service, I felt the pricing was really fair, and George was super helpful for the entire visit. They also have warranty on their tires, which is super reassuring. Hopefully I will avoid having any future nails in my tires, but in the case I need more repairs done, I will absolutely be coming back!

I got it checked out afterwards and the mechanic pointed out that they had taken the engine apart and didn't replace several bolts and a bracket. There was a broken tensioner that they would have had to have reinstalled, but they put it back in while it was still broken. For weeks after, the manager kept contacting me trying to convince me they had done a good job. It's not a good look. 0/5 stars. Avoid this place if you can.

Reliable team, prompt, responsive and great service. Even when there have been small issues they worked with me to my satisfaction. They've taken care of my Acura TL, and then my SQ5 and now SQ8 at reasonable costs. Recently they fit me in next morning from an overnight text to fix a tire puncture... in at Friday 8a and out by 830a during their pre workday rush. Jeff and Marcus are honest, professional and knowledgable about a wide range of automotive matters. When we take a car to RAC to be serviced, we know the work will be completed properly to maintain the car in top condition. We have never had to take a car back for a re-do Each visit, RAC does a full inspection of the vehicle and tells us what work is necessary and what issues need to be monitored for future consideration, They never recommend work which is not necessary at the time the vehicle is brought in for service. And although not required, the staff loves my wifes "goodie" package as extra compensation for a job well done!

It seems like they want to get you in there without a quote so they can start work and charge what they want, after you are stuck there.

I brought a Tesla Model Y to them in order to have a wheel swapped out and have the front end…read moreinspected. Most folks don't know this, but Performance models of these cars blow through suspensions every ~70k miles or so. Precision charged me for the tire swap (move TPS to new wheel and re-mount on the new wheel), but they also charged me an hour of labor to inspect the front end, something that they already had in clear view when on the lift when they were doing the tire work. However, I was fine with it as long as they did a complete job and reported accurate information. I was planning on having them also replace the main front end components anyway, but they will NOT install any parts that they did not get for your car. Even if they are OEM parts from the manufacturer of your car. (Tesla parts are a PITA to get in a timely fashion sometimes, and having to wait for them to arrive is not a great customer service experience... especially when they are OEM parts. I'm assuming it's not just liability, but that Precision wants the markup on the parts over a providing a good customer service experience.) Precision came back and told me there was nothing wrong with the front end of the vehicle. immediately knew that this was impossible. No Tesla Model Y Performance with the original suspension is fine at 85,000 miles. I asked a buddy at a Porsche dealer to look at the front end and ALL FOUR bushing in the front end components were torn. Literally, if the technician from Precision Auto had looked them, it would have been obvious. If the technician missed it, Precision has a serious issue. I did call them. I asked to speak to the manager. The person that called me back sounded awfully young but listened to me vent and indicated he's refund my money for the inspection. (He took my credit card info for the refund, so fingers crossed there.) I'm really sure based on that experience that Precision Auto is not where you want to go if you have a Tesla. I told them exactly what they needed to look for and I've got to wonder if the server desk told the tech anything that I mentioned. (I do have alot of experience working on cars. I just don't want to do it.) At least they did a good job with the tire... -shrug-

I wish I knew enough about the nuts and bolts to convince you categorically that they are the best, but here's what I can say: I do remember not long ago that they won what I understand to be THE national competition for best auto shop in the country, and I have to imagine that was a pretty big deal for a family-run business. So if you're just looking for people who know what they're doing, well that should be enough right there. I can tell you that they are the type of people who remember your name when you walk in, and that you will most likely have a few laughs while you're there. How often can someone say they have fond memories of getting their car repaired? I can, and I'm smiling right now thinking of how much my Dad loved talking with them about the world, and pretty much everything in it by the time we left... They have guided him and myself over the span of two vehicles each. Come to think of it, that's pretty good for over 30+ years, especially when we're still driving the latter two. Not to mention the first one I bought was, we'll say: not a good year from not a good company. They cut me so much slack, and put in so much extra work on that car for me. The hardest part for them though, had to be convincing me to buy a reliable, maintainable car next time, and convincing my Dad when it was time to let go of the truck he took such good care of for such a long time. In my case, it was a matter of helping me understand which makes and models not only last a long time, but will also save me a bunch of money over time. Such is the case on parts and labor, when the parts are easier to get, and the car is easier to fix, DUH... For my Dad, it was a matter of bedside manner, explaining that we've reached that time when the repairs are going to start costing more than the vehicle is worth. I say all that, because one way to tell whether someone is honest or not, is if you can point to some advice they gave you at the expense of their own profit. In a world where honesty is not a given in any industry, I think those are pretty good examples of where it still exists.

I have…read moreonly had 3 vehicles in my lifetime ... a 1974 mustang, a 1986 suburban (that I kept for 22 years) and my current 2008 F-150 pickup truck with super crew cab. I take my vehicles for a bumper to bumper safety check every 6 months. Therefore, I never get stuck. Tim is one of their mechanics and he does an excellent, excellent job!!! I would highly recommend to everyone that they take their vehicles to Marv and Mike's!!!! If only all repair shops were as good as Marv and Mike's!!! Paula

Olney Car Care are hands down the most (only?) honest mechanics I've ever been to. We took my husband's Lexus to the dealer for repairs and they quoted us $7500. Olney got it done for $3000-- and did it well. We've been going to them for three years, and it's been the same story every time. Extremely reliable service at honest prices. The mechanics are also very nice and easy to deal with. I no longer live in Olney, but still drive 30 min just to take my car to these guys because there's no one better. Highly recommend. Just don't take my appointment! :)
