They were super responsive and reached out almost immediately following my online inquiry. When I arrived, I was greeted and from there, everyone was lovely. No one was aggressive or pushy. I was prepared to leave if I didn't like how it drove or pricing was an issue or pricing for payment/percentage. My appointment was with Colton but because I was coming from Cruces and was about 10 mins late I was assisted by Frank who was great. He was transparent about everything. What their profit was. What could/couldn't be done. Because I don't live in Roswell and Cruces is a bit far, I didn't get the advantage of the oil change for a year but I'm not upset about that. Roswell is a bit of a hike from Cruces but it was totally worth the drive for this Jeep. Totally worth it. Super nice folks. Worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Went into this Toyota dealership today to look at SUVs because I wasn't sure what size I wanted. So asked to see inside some SUV's to see if it was going to be big enough with my growing kids. The sales rep showed me a RAV4 and I said I wanted bigger. He and I quote said "Well that's all I can help you with today" because I didn't want to purchase today and I wanted to have a down payment. The man wanted me to buy with nothing down so that I would buy today and I said no because I didn't want high monthly payment. They weren't even busy or anything. I have been a Toyota customer for years and I love my Corolla but to be treated in that manner because I wanted to see the size in person and room and be told that they won't show me because I didn't want to buy right away is ridiculous. I need to preface this review with a short story to set up my review; I had a Corolla rental car that I had driven from Boulder, CO down to Midland, TX (700mi) and then drove from Midland to Roswell to take in the sights. (300mi) Spent most of the day in Roswell walking around town to the various shops. Decided to end the day by just looking around the giant Pecan tree farms before heading back around 5pm. My low tire pressure light came on, and we stopped at a gas station to fill up and I checked the tire which seemed ok maybe a tad low. I filled the tire up full and by the time I left the lot the warning came on again. I drove across the street to look again and the tire was almost flat. I now looked for places to fix the tire. Discount Tire closed at 4, Big O said they were open til 6, but when we got there at 5:15 they were already closed. Went to Walmart and Sams Club which were next to each other and they were having a power failure. Everyone was closed or broken. So i bought a can of fix a flat sprayed and filled and drove to the Toyota Dealership as my last hope which closed at 7. We pulled up to the service area and of course they were closed at 5pm I think. Out of options now as we started to leave we were stopped by Gustavo Ramirez who is a sales associate and we explained our dilemma. He went and talked to his manager and they asked one of the service guys if they could stay late to replace our tire. Gus called Sams and talked to the manager and got us the ability to get a new tire even with the broken system. Gus drove us to Sams and we got the tire and returned to the dealership where they proceeded to install the new tire. We waited inside in their comfy lounge chairs and were offered some drinks from their fridge and about 25 minutes later they had it all installed and good to go. I was completely blown away by the customer service and support that we got from Gus and the rest of the team here. We were a couple hours past close and they really went out of their way to get us fixed and back on the road, even though it was just a rental. This dealership and Gus have reset my bar to what I now will compare everyone else too for Customer Service. Everyone was amazing. Truly grateful to them. Now for my observations on the facility. Outside the lot was clean and well organized. The Service bay was incredibly huge hosting about 10 slots for vehicles and was also clean and organized without having tools and dirt all over the place. Inside was also clean and spacious. They have a big "waiting" area filled with those super big soft couches and recliners that you just melt in to. They have several vending machines as well as some complimentary drinks in a big fridge with a variety of beverages. Overall my experience here with the location and staff was pretty fantastic and has changed my views on dealership customer service. Gus said several times that they do as much as they can for their customers and I felt that completely. This is a really great dealership. read more

I decided to make the 180 mile drive from my home to see the car. Seeing and test driving the car, it was exactly what I was looking for. I made an offer and Chris made it happen. He was very patient with my credit union dragging their feet to send my loan approval authorization to him (which was driving both of us crazy mad). I have excellent credit so I knew it would get done. After all was said and done, I am very happy that I made the drive to Roswell, NM and I would do it again in a heartbeat. i was completly satisfied with my toyota truck its getting the tags and them not being truthful to me about it. It's been almost 4 months and I just got my tag and had to go get it myself. Apparently they think they can order a tag and not pay . Ive had to call department of MVD and TAX OFFICE constantly to get things paid. Finally a check made out to tax office but sent to my house in South Carolina I am in Roswell. The last straw , was finding out they hadn't paid tags and I called them and they said they would over night it. That was three weeks ago. I went this week and paid and picked it up my self. I didn't get a follow up, to see if I got them. and I also sent a email to upper, in the dealership no return answer. Very disapointed with the service I got from them. I had purchased a used vehicle and they could not find one of the set of keys that was supposed to come with it and I was told it would come in it may take some time but they would get it to me. This was shortly after Covid started and at the time you couldn't go back into the dealership.Then I went in finally and they had a big bucket full of keys and they said they were gonna go through them and will get back to me well I never heard back I had called a few times went in and still no keys. and the last time I went in talk to my sales guy he talked to the GM who said it was past 90 days and pretty much it's not their problem. You pay thousands of dollars for a vehicle it says it comes with two sets of keys you should get the two sets of keys especially because they're not cheap. it's bad when a business will hold up their end of the deal I definitely won't do business with him in the future and would not recommend them to anybody. While visiting Roswell, I took my Toyota to Roswell Toyota Service Department for its 15k free service inspection. (Rotate tires, check fluids, inspect car). I fully expected them to upsell various things. Surprise surprise. They did exactly what was called for and did not try to upsell anything to me. Another surprise. I tried to slip a few bucks to the young tech, (Emanuel) who did the job, and he declined. Would not take it. Said he was only doing his job. Yes, I was impressed. Roswell NM Toyota deceitfully sold me a vehicle that had been in an accident. The vehicle had been driven by the owners wife, yet was sold to me with a clean carfax report and the Toyota Certified check list showed no accident, no structural damage. Though the prior damage was not evident to me at time of purchase, it became an issue due to poor workmanship. The underlying structural damage was not corrected, they merely covered the damage with excessively thick bondo. Thus I had to have the damage ( of the prior owner ) repaired correctly. Working with this dealer has been a nightmare. My husband is overseas serving our country, and he wanted a new Tacoma in the driveway when he gets home. He had been working with Roswell Toyota to negotiate and they finally came to an agreement. When the vehicle was delivered to my home they DROVE it from New Mexico to Texas adding a ton of miles (what dealer does that? I've always had vehicles delivered on a truck) Then on the lease agreement the mileage was off. So I had to resign all new paperwork at a later time in front of a notary to get this corrected. Also my husband had been told no first months payment, while I was told first month was due upon signing so I just paid it. Turns out that was their bad for sharing false info... then the guy who drove my car here left is gun in the glove box. It's just been one thing after another. (Poor delivery, not keeping promises made in negation, incorrect information shared, inaccurate mileage on paperwork) I feel they completely took advantage of the fact that I was signing for my husband while he was overseas and not able to be here in person for the signing and to confirm. Great job taking care of your military customers. Everything about working with this dealer has felt sleazy. Lastly, my next payment is due in a week and I still have no account number for Toyota to make payments on this vehicle. PLEASE JUST GIVE ME MY ACCOUNT NUMBER SO I DON'T HAVE TO TALK TO YOU EVER AGAIN. A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I were set on purchasing a 2016/2017 Toyota Highlander. I called around and searched online (Toyota.com, Cars.com, Trucar.com etc) to check the local inventory. We visited our local dealership, Dick Poe Toyota in El Paso, and received horrible customer service. We decided to look elsewhere. I had placed my information on Trucar.com and within minutes I got a phone call from Tiffany of Roswell Toyota. She sent me a listing of her inventory along with prices and features. I was impressed with the prices, as they were at least 3-5 thousands less than my local area. The only problem was the 4 hour drive. I immediately called Tiffany back, and asked to hold a vehicle for me so I could pick up that same day. Once I got there around 5pm, Tiffany had the Highlander parked the vehicle aside for me to test drive. She thoroughly explained the features of the Highlander and even helped with pairing both phones. She was extremely courteous and even helped with keeping my kids occupied as I signed some paperwork. Not only was my experience great with the salesperson, but Roswell's finance department was superb as well. I got an unbelievable deal with Toyota Care and Mike fully explained what was covered. I didn't feel apprehensive or pressured to buy anything as I did with a different dealership. As I was finishing up my paperwork, Tiffany had already moved my belongings to my new Highlander. Tiffany and Mike stayed beyond closing time in order to assist me as result of myself arriving late. Never did I feel rushed during my experience with them. The only drawback with Roswell Toyota was the 4 hour drive from El Paso. Other than that, the customer service I received from Tiffany and Mike was above and beyond my expectations. I would gladly make the 4 hour drive again on my next purchase. read more

He was texting or something on his phone while I was asking questions on the Ford Expedition. He told me he sells Toyotas not Fords. It was trying to rain so I told him I will just come back next week. He said okay great and started to walk away. He never even asked for my name or number. Right away he resumed texting or something. I guess Toyota was not interested in selling this vehicle. I do not know if I would have bought it, but would have liked to be treated more important. This review is for the service department. We stopped at Roswell Toyota on our way to Ruidoso to get our Sienna checked out because the check engine and TRAC off warning lights came on. We were concerned because we drove from Houston and wanted to get it checked out before continuing. Jim Collins, the service manager explained the error code they were getting and made sure that the mechanic checked everything out and ruled everything major out. He was very kind and went out of his way to help an out of town family on vacation, even giving us his card if we needed help again while we were in the area. We appreciate the customer service we received at Roswell Toyota. Jim put our minds at ease and we were on our way and enjoyed a wonderful vacation in beautiful New Mexico. Came on 12/23. Passing by saw older chevy. Drove in lot to look. Two guys came to my truck before I could get out. One guy started opening up the chevy other guy just started talking. He greeted me by saying hey dog you needing a new truck. Didnt even ask my name. I felt uncomfortable so I just said ill swing back by later with my brother. He just kept talking and calling me dog. I finally said look my name is Edgar ill come back later. As I got in my truck he said you will have to replace your ride sooner or later, why not today. I have been receiving cards and notices about getting my airbag replaced for 2 years now. In 2017 I had the part replaced as I told all these agencies that have been contacting me. I even called the Roswell Toyota Dealership and they stated I had one done but now I have to have the drivers side done. So I make an appointment, drove the 80 + miles last weekend only to have them tell me I didn't need it since I already had it replaced in 2017. Really?? They assured me they contacted whoever they needed to regarding this issue and low and behold I get another Urgent Recall notice toady in the mail. So I called and explained the situation once again. The customer service rep stated that the US Department of Transportation and the NHTSA still shows that it has not been completed. I told her to contact Roswell Toyota since it was done in 2017 and as of my last visit on 2/23/19 they said it was in fact done but was not reported, they guaranteed they had done this. My time is worth money and to have to take a day off work and travel that far for absolutely no reason is insane. I ended up having a 12 point inspection done and had what needed to be repaired, although I wasn't prepared to spend that much money. But its done, now if the dealership can just take care of this airbag recall...life would be good. read more

Went in to look at Tundras on Saturday. Sales person was Timmy or something like that. Looked very unprofessional for a car sales person. Wearing dirty shorts and some black legging on one side. Anyways we wanted to look at Tundras. We drove one. Then sales guy said lets see what the numbers are. Told him not yet lets look at a few more. He ignored me and kept walking towards the building. I told him a 2nd time we wanted to look at others. He said they all drive the same lets just see what this one will run you. I got upset he was rushing our 1st car shopping trip in 10 years. We left and drove to the Chevrolet store. We drove 4 trucks and bought a used Tundra. We were there to buy but on our terms. This guy would of sold a truck if he just allowed us to look some. I can not explain why it is that my husband and I keep running into Tommy at the Dealership. My husband wrote a review once, named the person Timmy by mistake. We had a terrible experience with him the 1st time and yesterday he pretended to not know us. We took our Tundra to Chevy to have it looked at. While waiting I told my husband to just get a new truck and not spend money to troubleshoot the truck we barely got. We walked over to Toyota to just look. About 5 minutes later here comes Tommy riding on the golf cart. He got off the cart and opened a Tundra we were looking at. The whole time he continued to have a conversation on the phone. We looked at the truck and started walking off. He told the person on the phone I'll call you back these people are trying to walk off. He then finally told us hello and asked what we thought of the truck. My husband replied just killing time we are waiting on our truck. He asked what type truck and where is it at. My husband told him. Tommy then had the nerve to say, that's pretty stupid to buy a Tundra from a GMC place, you were asking for trouble. Let me help you into a new Tundra, lets go talk to my manager. We will make you a super good deal to make up for buying over there. I turned very red, I was ready to storm inside yelling. My husband grabbed my hand and we walked away. He said if this is how the sales people are then the manager is probably the same. We got home and chatted about it. He said he will write Toyota a letter and we can drive somewhere else if we want a new Tundra. He called the store around 645 pm, asked for the General Manager, lady offered to take a message as he was not in. Husband said of course he ain't and hung up. I really wish someone would clean this place up, we always try to shop local, but this is a reason that drives money out of town. read more

Worst place ever. I took my car to get the big 60,000 service check up, didn't receive a receipt after I paid a little over $300. Then two days later, something was wrong with my car. I'm not from Roswell so I called the service department and they couldn't tell me what to do because I'm not from Roswell nor did I know if it was safe to drive back there. They said they would let Nick know, who was the guy helping me and have him give me a call back. He never called nor responded to my e-mails. Only sent an e-mail of my receipt attached, never mentioned anything about the problem. I had to take my car to a local place, only to find out something was wrong with my breaks. But they were supposed to check all that with the service check up that I paid $300 for! I tried to order the part from them so they could send it to me and they didn't know what I was talking about. I mentioned Nick again and the guy said he was out to lunch and would have Nick call me when he came back. I never received a call. I ended up just ordering the part from the local place and paying another $90 to get my breaks fixed. I will never go back and don't take your vehicles either. Their services suck. read more
