Placed an order at 6:34Pm for a delivery at 8:15pm, as we were not home. I specifically picked the time for the deliver. The food was delivered minutes before hand 7:42pm. I picked the time for a reason, I called them, and there kitchen manager and phone girl, informed me that I need to call and inform them that I need the pizza for a specific time. That ordering the food legitimately from them and picking a specific time, will not work unless I call them. So if I pre-order for a part on Saturday at 1PM on a Friday afternoon It is my responsibility to call them and tell them to not make the food. There is absolutely zero point to placing a delivery for a later time unless I call them personally and tell them to not make the food! How is there any logical to this! Unprofessional, unethical. This is a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant that we have frequented in the past and seeing a sign for a Brazilian twist to the menu we realized that it was under new management and decided to give it a try. The decor was classic Boca Italian, and was clean and neat with gentle music in the background . They have an open kitchen and the seating is comfortable . Sarah, our server greeted us as soon as we sat down and was very pleasant and helpful. We decided to go with the PORTUGUESA 16 inch pizza as it came highly recommended by Sarah . It consisted of ham, Calabrese, black olives, onions, green pepper We decided also to have the Malibu wrap which contained grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, lettuce, fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing . I've been eating at Rotelli's for 20+ years and the quality has always been great at all locations. We ordered two Malibu Chopped salads and one Pecan salad. The Malibu salads were good, but there seemed to be less chicken than usual. As for the pecan salad, they now use the bread bowl that they use for the Malibu salad, which has made the pecan salad even better. The balsamic dressing was also lacking flavor, but it's usually outstanding, so it must've been an off night. Overall portions are big, quality is great and for the most part, it's consistent. read more

This is regarding catering they did for a party we were hosting. Called early in the week for a Saturday afternoon delivery. They showed up exactly on time as scheduled. They threw in serving spoons plates plastic ware etc... and Andrew who I believe is the new owner threw in a couple dozen garlic rolls no charge. But none of that matters if the food isn't good. We had trays of Chicken Francese and Parmesan, Penne Alla Vodka and some pasta and meatballs. Also got a big tray of Greek Salad. Everything was tasty and delicious! By far, the worst episode of owner should not be working in his own restaurant. Not only are there tons of reviews all over the Internet about how awful he is, I was lucky enough to experience in a person. I was picking up an order for a customer That I received 30 minutes prior to me getting there. The poor kid working at the Front is the only one doing anything there, he was definitely not an issue. The owner works in the back and clearly hates his job so think about that before eating here. Anyone that hates their life that much is not making food right. I stood there about 10 minutes and then I asked the kid if he knew how much longer so I could update the customer. His response was he doesn't work for me. I work for him. First off I don't work for him so that's pretty balsy of a statement. But who, in their right mind owns a restaurant and behaves like this. I will be sure to post this review everywhere to warn people not to go to this restaurant. Someone who is yelling at their employees the way he does and then talking to customers the way he does first should not be running a business, but more importantly shouldn't be handling peoples food. We love Rotelli's for their entrees. We often order their eggplant parm sandwich and sometimes the eggplant parm entree; both always delicious. Usually their chicken parm entree is good, as well. But, we just picked up a veggie pizza from Rotelli's and we are sooooo disappointed. It has no taste. The broccoli was a few small pieces from one floret spread out on a large pizza. I told my husband that they forgot the eggplant & I was going to call them but he asked me "what are they going to do about it now?"‍ So I didn't call. But I did find a few 1/8" x 1/8" size eggplant on the pizza as I was eating it . They looked like bacon bits, oyy . $24 thrown out in the trash...with the pizza. I picked up my order of angel hair ala rotelli. Very disappointed. There was way more angel hair than sun dried tomatoes, peas, artichokes and mushrooms. I had to add salt which I hate doing. We haven't been here in several years because we moved out of the area but we're in the neighborhood and decided to try it for old times sake. It is better than we remembered. We had the 10" Napolitano pizza and Angel Hair Alla Rotelli, minus the sun dried tomatoes. The pizza was cooked perfectly and hubby enjoyed it. The garlic rolls were crispy outside and soft inside. My pasta was delicious. A light wine sauce that was full of flavor. The service was also great. Will definitely stop in the next time we are in the area. So I'm back in again post-pandemic to try this food again. I noticed that the price increased, but the quantity of food you received remains the same. Tonight's meal was veal Parmesan with ziti's on the side, garlic rolls, and spaghetti and meatballs, and of course minestrone. The garlic rolls were the first to arrive, and they were very satisfying considering I haven't had this in garlic rolls in quite a while; while they're not the best I've ever had, they were a good substitute. Next, to arrive at the soup, I'm a fan of minestrone, but the soup did nothing to me; it was warm, not hot, but here again, it did nothing for me. Next to arrive were the main entrées, veal Parmesan arrived piping hot, the crust was perfect, and the cheese is oozing off the sides. It was a well-executed dish as it was before, the ziti's were cooked to perfection The spaghetti and meatballs, to me it was tasteless meatball; to the young lady with me, she said they were pretty good. Because that was her main dish and mine was to taste, I had to lean towards what she said. I did not taste the spaghetti, but how can you ruin the spaghetti when you had a decent ziti. I've been a Rotelli's patron since 2005, always eating at the location in Davie. This past year, I found out another location was near where I live currently. I was pleased to experience the same quality in the food and their pizza. Their red sauces are seasoned perfectly (never bland), the dough used for pizzas and garlic rolls is light and airy, allowing for a crispy outer layer, and airy inner layer. Service is always quick and accommodating, as well as kind. The ambiance is fairly simple, but not over done. There is seating outside on walkway, but for smaller parties. Only drawback are hours opened on weekends...wish they stayed open at least to 10pm on weekends. read more

The most authentic Italian food you can get it in town. To start off, we had meatballs and ricotta and it was to die for! Then for our main entrees we had the Malibu chopped salad with their mouthwatering, homemade balsamic vinaigrette, Chicken Marsala, and their Penne Alla Vodka with chicken. I usually don't like Marsala sauce but this one was seasoned just right. For the Penne Alla Vodka, let's just say there weren't any left overs. AND I did NOT share! Not only did the food taste great, but the presentation was divine. Finally, the service. Five star doesn't do it justice. You can tell all the servers go above and beyond and work as a team. Not only did they accommodate me, but knew the menu like the back of their hand. I highly recommend coming in. You might gain a pound or two but you won't regret it because it's that amazing! There are several Rotellis in South Florida, but this is the only one I've been too. I'm so impressed by the delicious food and friendly service. The restaurant is fairly small inside with both booths and tables. There's several tables outside in front of the restaurant. Clyde and I sat inside. The restaurant was attractive and appeared to be very clean. Tables were set up with tablecloths and black linen napkins. Even their dishes were pretty. Entrees come with plain rolls with butter and/or garlic rolls. We got both. Entrees also come with your choice of soup or salad. I got a cup of minestrone soup which was thick and hardy. So far I've ordered shrimp scampi and chicken Marsala. Both dishes were delicious, but the shrimp scampi was my favorite. The scampi was delicious. The shrimp were large and the sauce was garlicky. I asked for spaghetti instead of the linguine that's on the menu. The spaghetti was perfectly cooked. The chicken Marsala was very good also with tender chicken and lots of mushrooms in a Marsala wine sauce. There are lots of choices on the menu. Besides entrees they have salads, sandwiches, wraps, and pizza. I tried their cheese pizza and it was delicious. They have specials including Happy Hour with half price beer and wine, and several small plates. On Mondays prices are capped at $12.95. Even the $20.99 salmon is $12.99 on Mondays. You couldn't ask for better service. The servers were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to be sure we enjoyed our meals. Lunch is served from 11am to 4pm. We ordered delivery from Rotellis since we are still in shelter in homes. Ordered the blackened salmon salad and pepperoni stromboli. The salmon was cooked just right and the salad was a big portion. Fresh and delicious with greens, tomato's, cucumbers, olives, pepperocini, etc. The stromboli was good too, cooked well done as requested. Another large portion.
