Yellowtail oregnata with sautéed broccoli and carrots and creamy mashed.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Boca Raton. From the ambiance which is classic Italian and the service was very professional the last couple of times we had excellent waiters that explained everything and answered every single question I had. The last time there I ordered the Yellowtail oregnata it came with delicious mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables all fantastic. The time before I ordered the lobster tails sautéed in garlic and olive oil...also perfectly done. The bruchetta at the beginning of the meal is a great starter. Baked clams oregnata also great. It's easy to recommend this place for any occasion.

We were glad to be back. We were seated promptly & had the nicest waiter Daniel. It's our First stop for delicious authentic Italian food was Trattoria Romana. We love the fresh tomato bruschetta it's so delicious & the bread is an oh wow. The food speaks for itself. The thinly sliced veal is perfect. The pasta is fresh and not heavy. Seafood salad is perfect. Those cookie are PERFECT. Send me the recipe. I'm sure it's a grandma recipe

Great service and great food! Rarely do we find a restaurant where our family finds MULTIPLE options on the menu to choose from, but we definitely had our hands full choosing from such a great range of options. One of the things we were most impressed with is the amount of specials being offered. And the entrees were just the beginning. Word for the wise leave room for dessert because the tiramisu is AMAZING. They have a long wine list and they celebrate birthdays! Only point is like to make is our family of 6 felt a little squished at our table, but not so cramped that I would take off a star. Thank you so much for a great meal and night!

Three of us dined here for my bday in July. The highlight for me was the tomatoes w/bread (complementary) and Beets w/goat cheese. It all went down from there. I got linguini w/white clam sauce but it was so salty I could barely eat it. I didn't feel like returning it since the starters filled me up so I didn't say anything until after the bill was paid. When I told the server she I apologized and offered to bring me something else to take home. I chose the crab cake over pasta w/vodka sauce. I ate that for dinner the next night. It lacked flavor completely. The big fried crab cake ball was lump crabmeat and a ton of flavorless filler. I order CC's all the time so I know my stuff. The vodka sauce was also bland. Complete contrast to my other meal. But THE WORST PART was that, although we each had our own dishes and didn't really share, 30 hours after dining there and each eating leftovers the next night for dinner, we all got sick (both ends) in the middle of the night. Doing some research it was likely Norovirus bc sickness symptoms typically appear 24 to 48 hours after exposure. We don't live together and we were only together for my bday dinner that night so we definitely caught it at the restaurant somehow. I called the restaurant to let them know the entire experience and they said no one else had called to say they got sick... OK that doesn't really mean anything bc a lot of people wouldn't suspect it was from a restaurant they ate at two nights prior unless you only ate leftovers like we all did. I'm sure this was an unusual experience as far as getting sick as concerned, but the fact that I didn't like either meal makes me not want to go back anyway. They sent me a $50 giftcard to apologize so I may go back and get the excellent beet salad and some drinks at the bar... or just gift it to someone else.

Trattoria Romana is a Boca Raton staple! Every dish we have ever ordered from here has been delicious. Tonight, we ordered the rigatoni Bolognese, lobster ravioli, steak and fries, eggplant with rigatoni, & the strawberry shortcake for dessert. The lobster ravioli was a special, and the rigatoni Bolognese wasn't on the menu; however, I highly suggest ordering both. The meat sauce was one of the best I've ever had. Also, the strawberry shortcake was so big you can definitely share it. I recommend making reservations as they are always packed. You can also get a car wash while dining, which I think is so cool.

Went with a large party last week for my father's 85th birthday and it was amazing. The chef and owner came out to chat with us about his menu and welcome us. Every dish we ordered was perfection. I had the bollonaise with meatballs.....delicious. My father had the seafood pasta....he loved it. Several others had the branzino.....all loved. And to think that we drove down from Jupiter.....well worth it. Would definitely come b back and can't thank them enough for making my father's 85th so special.

I ordered the Tomato Cream Gnocchi and my boyfriend had the Mediterranean Combo. No exaggeration but this was the best gnocchi I've ever had. The dish changed my view on gnocchi and I'm now a converted fan. The texture was pillow soft with a bit of spring. The magic of this dish is how simple yet delicious it is. I loved a simple dish done well. The Mediterranean combo was a special of the night and it came with prawns, branzino, fried anchovies, and a salad. The combo was also just as goods. The seasoning was yet again, simple but delicious. The prawns were succulent, fish was high quality, and the fried anchovies surprised me. I loved all the proteins. I also tried the squid ink pasta and the seafood linguini. Both were good but the squid ink pasta was unique. I can't put my finger on the flavor but I liked it. Service was incredible and the chef was kind. He came out to talk to us and explained some of the dishes. The restaurant is homey and cozy. I felt like I was in Sicily. Overall, I highly recommend Savia. I can't wait to come back and try more.

While the food was generally good--my veal chop from the prix fixe menu was flavorful, though slightly dry--other dishes were, unfortunately, just average. What truly undermined the evening, however, was the service. Throughout the night, several guests struggled with repeatedly unfilled water glasses and had to ask multiple times for basic items. Our waitress hardly checked in until the end of the meal, with minimal follow-up during dinner. The situation escalated when, after paying, our waitress, Haley B, approached the table in a confrontational manner, questioning me directly--three separate times--about the tip, in front of the entire group. Gratuity should reflect the quality of both service and overall experience; being pressured for a higher tip despite the lack of attention was entirely out of line. To make matters worse, my follow-up call to management was equally disappointing. The response was all talk, no action. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression.

We live in Fort Lauderdale where there are too many excellent Italian restaurants to count. We came tonight to Novello in Boca for a double birthday celebration. We were excited for some great food. It was a little awkward when we arrived. I did not feel very welcomed by the man who seemed to be the owner. I mention this because if you're going to charge the prices that they do, you should be very sweet to your customers. Our server was a woman who very obviously was annoyed when we told her that we weren't drinking alcohol. When we ordered appetizers for the table, she kept trying to tell us what to order. She was a bit pushy and her attitude made us feel very uncomfortable. We know what we like. I was not impressed with the caprese salad, not a lot of flavor (and no basil??) and the Cesar salad was fine but for $28 (serves 2), it should have been memorable. I ordered one of the specials. It was absolutely delicious, but make sure you ask what the prices are.... I was the birthday girl so didn't ask the price. It was $100. That's on me though, I didn't ask. My husband, the birthday boy, ordered an extra side of penne with red sauce and it was $20!! We had a baby with us and they charged him $20 for his pasta (with only olive oil) too. That's just rude. The service was definitely lacking tonight. I felt like I spent a lot of time looking for our server. She was also tending the bar. Seemed like it was too much for her. The food is tasty. Some things are better than others like any restaurant but between the very high prices and the inconsistent service, we won't be coming back. I would like to add that the man pouring water and taking the plates was great and very attentive.
