I started as a new patient in April and submitted my insurance information at intake, as requested. A week later I had a filling done. When the bill arrived, insurance had covered almost none of it, leaving me with a $657.80 balance on services that should have been substantially covered. The reason: this office is out-of-network with every insurance company. That was never disclosed to me, not at intake, not before treatment, not anywhere I could find. It's not on their website. It's not in a single review here. Their Yelp listing says they "take insurance." When I called the office to ask about it, I was told, "Everyone knows we're out-of-network" -- as if that's public knowledge somehow available nowhere in writing. Separately, X-rays were done at that first visit without the office requesting records from my previous dentist. It turned out I wasn't yet due for X-rays under my insurance's schedule, so that cost also landed entirely on me. I know it's a patient's job to verify network status, and I'll do that every time from now on. But an office that collects your insurance card at the door and never mentions it doesn't work with any insurer is leaving out something patients need to make an informed decision.

We searched for orthodontists in the area that were available but it was after hours so my daughter called the number of Braces R Us and left a message. The next morning they called her back and she explained the situation. They told her that the orthodontists are only in Hailey once a month and that the rest of the time they are in Twin falls. My daughter told them that we were visiting my mom in Sun Valley. She said she would talk to the Dr. to see if they could help and would get back to her. They called back and said Dr. Tim Auger would stop by the office in Hailey on his way home to help out and fix my granddaughters wire. I was in awe in his willingness to help fix her wire after hours. We meet Dr. Tim Auger at 7:00pm in his office and he fixed the wire. He was very pleasant, and very friendly. He also would not take payment for his services. I was grateful and thankful for him taking time out of his day after work hours to help us out.

She saved me from a weekend of misery, and her professionalism and efficiency were so appreciated. Her staff was very friendly and helpful, and overall, I don't even need to see my own dentist because she did such a great job. Her office was also one of the few even open on a Friday.
