I love my Rothy's collection, so I was excited to visit the store in person. The customer experience is top notch here. The store is clean, chic, and curated. The employees are incredibly helpful without being pushy. I love that I can get cute shoes and bags without having to sacrifice sustainability. You can even bring back your old Rothy's for recycling and they give you a $20 coupon for your next pair which is really nice. Parking is difficult here, but it is very close to several CTA options, so I had no issues taking the train in. I'll be back again soon! read more

A friend of mine introduced me to the Rothy's brand some months ago where we ventured out to their Lincoln Park store to peruse the goods. The onsite shopping experience was excellent and the salespeople were ready to assist. Sales folk weren't pushy allowing us to freely roam the store to check out the merch. I tried on a few pairs for fit, look and comfort but decided to sit it out. I'm glad I did that because a couple months later I had enough time to think about it and was ready to make a purchase. Months later, I'm happily satisfied with my choice and have no regrets. I absolutely love the quality of their shoes and love how Rothy's shoes are sustainable and machine washable! Their curated selection of styles is right up my alley however the price point leans expensive. I bought my first pair of Double Buckle Mary Janes at full price but learned through the year they have semi annual sales at 50% off or more. They actually have a sale going on right now (online and in store) for June 2025. I'm hoping to purchase my second pair at their next sale. Metered parking is hit or miss as this store is in a retail/restaurant heavy section of the neighborhood. If you can go during a weekday, you'll have better chance finding a spot nearby. read more

My friend introduced me to Rothy's. While they look rather comfortable, I wasn't sure if they would do well with my wide feet. So I finally was able to come in to a physical store. Unfortunately, my intuition was right and the shoes are a bit narrow for me. The sales person offered to have me try a few pairs, but I opted out I could tell visually that they would not fit me and also would not accommodate my flat arch. The trip however was not wasted as I was able to find a small crossbody in the signature Rothy material that I adored and ultimately I had purchased. They have a few other bags that I was eyeing, but I will need to save those for another day. read more

I happened to come on a really busy afternoon. I think they have an end of year sale going on. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was able to get in and out. They had two people working and were able to get the shoes out quickly and rotate among the customers. I love being able to go into the store and try things on since they have so many different lines. I have wide feet and wanted to be able to try on different sizes and colors of the point 2. The round toe flats have always been significantly more comfortable for me. I'm giving the pointed toe ones a try this time because I like how they look a little dressier. I also love flying with these. They are so comfortable to wear on the plane and so light/ easy to pack. Only complaint is how smelly the shoes get. I am going to try to out those charcoal odor eaters in and see how it goes. I feel that the price is fair. I also appreciate the teacher and first responder discount that they have maintained over the years. read more

Fabulous customer service! I went here around noon on a Saturday and they weren't packed. The location has plenty of seating to try on shoes (although you will need to ask for your size, they don't have the boxes out), and the customer service is excellent. They answered all my questions in a prompt manner, brought my shoe size out super quick, and they're super comfy! I love my Mary Jane's! I love how they're an eco friendly brand and use recycled plastic bottles to make their shoes, and that you can machine wash them. So cool! read more

This Rothy's location is nice and minimal. They have their shoes displayed on the walls like all shoe stores along with their bags as well. I went in not knowing they sold men's shoes as well so I decided to try on some pairs. I had the BEST experience at the Rothy's store today! Teryn was so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She was patient and answered all of my questions. My mom and I both left with a new pair of shoes, and we are amazed at how comfortable they are. We are glad that Teryn helped us and encouraged us to go up our normal size because the shoes definitely fit more comfortably that way. And Teryn helped me to get my mom out of her comfort zone a little to purchase a pair of shoes in a pattern when she normally only wears shoes in solid colors. The store is beautiful, and welcoming which in a small space can be hard to do well- it's easy to feel pressured/awkward, but not Rothy's! I ordered a pair of Rothy's shoes a 0.5 size smaller. Usually I go for an 8, by mistake I had pressed 7.5. Within a few hours I emailed them to let them know and talked to them on the phone the following day, but apparently since they were the final sale they could not edit the size. What kind of company cannot edit an order within 24 hours of the order? Is this for real? Was offered a $30 promotion for my next order, which I did not accept since I will never buy from this company again. Think twice before you order from their final sale, they do not take returns or cancellations or exchange, unless it is within 45 min of you ordering, which in my opinion sounds ridiculous. read more

I bought shoes online because I heard they were very comfortable. However, I bought two pair that were labeled final sale. I knew the size would fit because my daughter has a pair and we both wear size 8. The red pair fit perfect. The pink/purple pair are defective. The left shoe is bigger than the right. So I asked if I could exchange them for another pair because they sold me defective shoes. They said sometimes with the dye it can alter the shoe size and that was the reason they were final sale. Maybe there was fine print that I didn't see. But I suspect a company won't tell you they are selling a defective product. They literally told me after I bought them that final sale helps find a good home for shoes. So they sell defective shoes on purpose and they refused to exchange them for a different pair. Maybe all the solid colors won't or don't have the same issue. My daughter has two solid colors and they fit. The defective ones I got are multi-color. My red ones are perfect but I will never buy from them again given their business philosophy about selling defective shoes on purpose. So if you still decide to buy from them, I strongly recommend you do not waste your money on their final sale items! If anyone has a left foot that is a bit bigger than the right, I would be happy to sell you a pair of shoes! They were $65 and are purple and pink.
