    While I love many of this designer's styles in shoes, I don't always find comfort. The boutique is small and glitzy and the staff brings the expected snooty, cool demeanor. While I probably own more pairs of CL shoes at full price than the staff, they always seem to feel the need to show a superiority over the customers. My new ankle boots made me very happy this season. They are black suede and ohhh sooo comfy!! My new fall season is complete. Note to management: When your customers are buying high end products in a small boutique, train your staff to welcome us and appreciate our business. Department stores sell your shoes as well...

    OK...Let me first say I own a few pair of CL's BUT I typically purchase them at Department Stores, like Neiman Marcus, Saks or Barneys and I NOW SEE WHY!! The free standing stores return policy sucks! Came here on lunch for what I thought would be a simple return.....I purchased a pair of boots, didn't wear them, only modeled them at home, but I did not like the way they creased at the ankle. It looked weird to me and I figured over time the boots would wear in that area because of the constant creasing.The shoes have been in my closet, like I said unworn, so I finally venture back down to CL on Oak and they tell me about this dumb ass policy that I don't recall them mentioning. I mean they give you 10 days to return a pair of $1200 boots and then you only get a store credit or exchange?!?! What if I don't want another shoe from that particular store? We all know that CL inventory varies by stores. So Neimans or Barneys may have a shoe that the CL boutique do not carry and vise versa so why can't I get my money back if I change my mind to go and buy another shoe somewhere else?!? This policy remind me of the Oriental owned store refund policies (i.e., Akira) that I so hate much and the main reason I don't shop at their stores. I mean like what ultra upscale brand does this for unworn merchandise with a receipt?!? They have completely lost me as a customer FOREVER with this return policy and I will continue to purchase these high priced shoes from a company that is about customer satisfaction and as long as the shoes have not been worn and you have your receipt, you can bring them back two years later if you choose!!! *****Ladies and Gentlemen**** before you decide to purchase at a free standing CL boutique store, make sure you are fully aware of their return policy and if the same shoe is at CL online, Neimans, Saks, Nordstroms, Bergdorf, or Barneys, you may want to purchase there because let's say you get them home, try them on again, not really feeling them like you thought you was, had to go out of town on an emergency trip, didn't get back to the CL boutique store within the 10 day time frame.... honey you are ass out of luck on getting your $$ back.

    Very good experience. Allen was amazing, attentive, knowledgeable sales associate. He made the shopping experience fun and easy.

    I tried to return a pair of shoes that I purchased on 3/11/2024. When I tried to return them to…read morethe Lakeview store, (Chicago) Courtney the store manager, did not want to help me out. She and the other male employee who has black curly hair refused to help me out and dismissed me. Courtney said, "We cannot help you out. You cannot exchange the shoes. Sorry" in a VERY RUDE manner. Just to let you know that I did not have a good experience with your employees. This made me feel very uncomfortable dealing with the DSW employees at the Lakeview store. Especially when there were other customers waiting in line. I felt very embarrassed. This happened on 5:35 pm Sunday, 7/14/2024. Joseph searched on the DSW website, it says that "DSW accepts returns after 90 days with a receipt of shipping invoice for a merchandise credit. This applies regardless of the original payment method." I have been a DSW customer for some time. I love the store, the products that DSW sells. However, this experience shows a stark and severe contrast to my previous experiences. As a loyal customer of DSW, this surprised me. It really did.

I was given an 8.5 wide. I didn't use it often, but when I did, my ankle was bothering me. By the time I realized they had given me the wrong width for one of the shoes, 60 days had already passed. I called the store, and the supervisor said, "Bring it in, and we'll make it right." When I got there, someone else said there was nothing that could be done. So, I'm out $90, plus I wasted my time going there. Check the tags to make sure you're getting the correct width!!
