Sorry but it's a no...they have known leak(s) and still sitting customers under actually dripping water and yes, did bring to their attention and they were aware and are working to fix it. Ok but why continue to sit people there?? It was the slowest service ever. The pizza is overhyped on the menu and was completely meh. We didn't even take the leftovers as no one cared. The crust has zero flavor and the ingredients are sparse so it's basically a lot of red sauce. The deep dish had so much sauce piled on top we couldn't find the actually pizza. We really wanted a spoon to scoop it onto the extra dry pasta . We had 3 different people trying 2 pizzas and none of us would return. Didn't bother with pictures as it was not worth it or the $70 for 3 items and a round of ice tea. I went and looked at the pictures that are owner posted and our pizza had 1/3 of what is shown in the glamour shots, maybe skip the entire gourmet, award winning side of the menu. read more

Make sure to double check your to go order We ordered 4 calzones and a salad to go. When we went to pick up, we realized there were only 3 calzones and the salad. The GM was so nice and corrected the missing calzone and gave us a free appetizer coupon. We waited 10 mins for the food and left. When we got home, we realized one of the original calzones they sent us with was wrong, so I had to call them and drive back to pick up the correct one. The staff was nice and the food was good, just a frustrating situation. If we order again we'll make sure to double check the order prior to leaving the parking lot. read more

Rotolo's was a munch for us on a hot summer day. A good beer selection at the bar and a decent relaxed atmosphere. Shamus n Michele took good care of us at the bar. We got the calamari which was really good in flavour and maybe just a little heavy on the sauce but delicious nonetheless. The lasagna was huge and super tasty and the supreme pizza was sublime. All in all a really good experience it was super hot and their AC was working hard to keep up. It was pretty busy on a Friday but things seem to flow pretty good. Eat it. read more

We've been looking for a place to get Chicago style deep dish. OMG does this place hit it out of the park! We started with the truffle fries and they were amazing!!!! We finished with the Big Apple Deep Dish Pizza. Let's just say it was very close to the pizza we ate up in the Chicago area years ago. It brought back great memories and we were thrilled to make some new ones. We will absolutely be back. If you go in, ask for Sam. She'll take the best care of you!!! read more

I had lunch with my husband today. Bartenders were nice. Service wasn't anything to brag about but it also wasn't horrible. We ordered the truffle fries. They were nothing special. Bagged fries with parm cheese and a drizzle of truffle oil. We ordered 2 pizzas. One for there and one to go. The Big Apple and the fig and Prosciutto pizza I ordered to go. I was told it was the top seller. I give it a 2 out of 5. It is so thin and crunchy like a cracker. Nothing at all like pizza I'm used to. The food is decent but absolutely nothing memorable about it at all. I really wanted to love this place. I unfortunately did not. read more

A Tale of Two Servers This based of of two recent visits. First off, they are newly opened and still ironing out some wrinkles, mostly with regard too service. Our first visit was great, seriously, we left raving about everything from the pizza, we tried two different pizzas, to the service. If I would have written a review based on that...five stars. Second visit wasn't good. After raving to our friends and taking them out to Rotolo's we were sorely disappointed. We were seated quickly but then waited literally over 30 minutes before our server even asked for our drink order. Then another 10 before we go those drinks at which time we ordered two appetizers. After about 5 minutes our server came back and took our entree order. Ok, rough start, but it was moving now... Four different pizzas were ordered and a couple of side salads. We were expecting our apps to show up shortly, but after another 15 minutes and no apps we asked about them and were told they were coming "shortly." In a couple of minutes our salads showed up quickly followed by our pizzas. At this point we cancelled the apps because we had our pizzas and there was literally nowhere to put the appetizers on the table. It's a pet peeve when the appetizers and mains come out together. I have worked both front of the house and ran a kitchen, I get that it's a communication issue. Servers need to learn when to put in their app orders and when to follow up. Like I said, this was a tale of two servers. The food...fantastic. But, great food can be killed by terrible service. As I mentioned up front, this is likely due to new staff and there is a learning curve. The problem is, I see another service related review here. Rotolo's needs to get a handle on their service training, I would hate to see them suffer because people are worried about a bad service experience. We will be back to give them another try in a bit, their cracker crust pizza is simply delicious, and we sincerely hope that the service is sorted out. read more

When this placed first opened it had great food and service. Since then it has gone downhill. Quality bartenders have quit due to over scheduling and cannot make money. Managers have quit due to lack of competent leadership. I came in on a Wed at 8:00 and there was no bartender or hostess. I had to flag down a server to find someone to help me. Dawson a server on the floor stepped in to help even though it was not his area. The mgr finally helped out but disappeared when I tried to pay. The owner Matt needs to address the situation. If this is the new norm I will go somewhere else. read more

Avoid!! Walked in and restaurant was empty but the wait was 15 minutes because they were "understaffed". Thank goodness for this heads up and time because when I took my 3 year old son to the bathroom, I noticed no tables had been bused, the kitchen floor was absolutely filthy and covered with dirty used napkins and crumbs, every counter top was dirty and the bathroom smelled like sewage. Needless to say, we left shortly after and didn't eat there. Health department should really inspect this place. I'm all for supporting small businesses but this was BAD. OK, we have been twice now, first time the food was underwhelming so we thought maybe it was because they were new so we tried it again. The meatballs are great. But the calamari is soggy not crispy drenched in whatever sauce they put on top. I had the brussels sprout salad which had barely any brussels sprouts in it and was drowned by dressing so we had to return it. We had the pizza with the figs and it was under par and the prosciutto was clumped on there. The fries were cold and small portion. The service is nice, but based off of the food, I doubt they'll be there long. read more

other than the fact that our pizza took 45 mins to come out that was possibly the highlight of the night. i was in the restroom after dinner and one of the cooks came out of the stall, yes i said the stall. he was on his phone talking about an uber picking him up this was about at 7:20pm. he walked right by the sink and did not wash his hands. a cook at the restaurant did not wash his hands after he was in the stall taking a poop. this needs and will be alerted to the health inspector. i am close to just standing outside all night and telling people what happened. read more

So I ordered a pick up for deep dish to be picked up at 6:45 so that I assume it would be done at 7:00-7:10 at the most send my sister in law to pick it up she gets there at 7:00 and is told to wait a second so they can go to the kitchen and see how the order is doing the manager on duty tells my sister "five more minutes" ....45 whole minutes go by before I call and speak with one of the managers there who is a terrible liar saying that the "ticket order never reached the kitchen" okay cool SO WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU SAY "FIVE MINUTES" who did you speak too oh I know absolutely nobody she lied to my sister and tried lying to me when I confronted her about it if the ticket never reached the kitchen at 7:45 why in the world would you tell her 5 more minutes at 7:00 terrible service she couldn't answer the questions when I asked her and kept talking about when I called at 7:45 about what she did about the ticket and the kitchen she couldn't comprehend basic questioning to hard for her to handle clearly read more

Went with my wife and one friend. We sat at the bar. Service was good and food arrived in a timely manner. Great beer selection since they had what I liked. Your usual domestic beers and about a dozen craft draft beers. Boudin fries were good not great. The good: a decent portion for our party of three and loved the banana peppers. I also liked the thin cut fries. The bad: only an ounce of boudin disbursed throughout the fries and I didn't find but one little area that had the caramelized onion. I'd actually forgot about them until that last bite revealed them. My wife didn't get any. We also shared the Chicago deep dish "First Timer". It tasted good but had little to no sausage and pepperoni, I've never had pepperoni sliced that thin. As for the caramelized onions they didn't exist. It was a $26 pizza. Final thoughts: give a little bang for the buck or you won't last long in this market. read more

We were seated immediately and then ignored for 20 whole minutes, our server saw us being sitted and then just disappeared. once we were finally able to order. It took an hour to get our food and then they completely forgot my son's order so we had to get it to go ..people around us that came in 30 minutes after us and we're being served by a different server had already received their food and eaten before we even finished. My husband and I went for lunch today, our first visit, so we were excited to give a new local place a try. We were seated outside on the patio. After we were sat at the table, the real wait began. During the time we were sitting, we were not greeted by a waitress, even though 2 waitresses walked by. After waiting for about 5 minutes for our waitress, a group of ladies were sat at the table next to us and they were greeted by a waitress within a few minutes. When their waitress was finished getting their drink orders, I asked if we could get water or drinks and was told she would find out who our waitress was. Again, we waited. After being there about 10 minutes with no service, we made the decision to leave and go someplace else. I went back inside to let the hostess know we were leaving and to give some feedback on what transpired. The only explanation given was they were trying to figure out which waitress was supposed to serve that table. I wasn't sure why it would take 10 minutes after being sat, but okay, things happen, but communication is key. What makes me disappointed was - there was no apology, no please come back and we will make it right, nothing. I felt like the hostess couldn't be bothered. After reading previous reviews seems like an ongoing theme. I came there with my wife and granddaughter for dinner. We ordered an appetizer and a couple of pizzas and my wife and I ordered drinks. Emily our server was great! No problem there. We ordered a lasagna and a calzone. Lasagna was a good portion but very sweet. Garlic balls that came with it were frozen in the middle which the replace with ones that had been nuked. Calzone was good but very skimpy on ingredients. Pizza gets an 8, service gets a 1 - Let me explain. Ordered a deep-dish pizza online on 3/12/2026 at approximately 9a (give or take) with a pickup time of 11:30a. Arrived at 11:30 to pick up pizza and staff checked with the kitchen and said they were working on it. That suggests it had not been started until we asked. At 11:45 we asked for a status and were told we should receive a text when it was ready. One staff member (who said it was her first day) finally checked and brought out our pizza. The pizza (a deep dish) was excellent. Staff friendliness was not. Tables and floors had not been cleaned from previous night and were filthy. Will definitely visit one more time. We can overlook the poor service to get the excellent pizza, however, if the table and floors are not clean the next visit will be our last. read more
