Clean Restrooms

My Prayer Partner wanted to eat here, of course I said, yes. There's a few Hostesses waiting to greet you. Our waiter came to the table pretty quickly with the drinks. I got the Alfredo Penne Pasta and I added the Chicken for $6 more. It was a generous portion and the Alfredo sauce was creamy. Russ offered me some more bread when he brought my plate out but, I never received it? We were seated next to the bar and it was pretty loud, too loud to do a Bible study. However, we did enjoy the ambiance and overall it was a pretty relaxing atmosphere and still relatively peaceful. I love having a candlelight dinner!

Been wanting to stop in and eat here for a while, and glad I did. The bruschetta and pizza were delicious. I was not expecting the crust to be as thin as it was but it was good and light. I left full but not stuffed and sleepy like after eating some other pizzas that have a lot of dough. I recommend for authentic Italian.

Ever since we visited the original al Campisi's in Dallas close to 50 years ago we have been big fans of Campisi's super thin, super crisp crust and flavorfully topped pizzas. Visited the Camp Bowie store today and am happy to report that the ship is still today on course. We did a custom... Italian sausage, pepperoni, white onions, mushrooms, and green olives. So good! Our server, James, was perfectly attentive and though nothing can compete with the ambiance of the original store, this location has a very enjoyable old school Italian restaurant ambiance.

We visited Campisi's during our anniversary week "staycation." My wife and I had a great time playing tourist in the DFW area. We were "hitting all our favorite spots and, of course, Campisi's was on the short list. My wife and I BOTH love their trademarked oval thin crust pizzas and their wonderful salad with their signature Italian dressing. The salad is plain and simple but with so much goodness that is enhanced by all the parmesan cheese that is incorporated in the salad. Totally yummy and delicious. It was a beautiful day to be able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful May afternoon with a nice breeze keeping us comfortable. We both enjoyed our salads while waiting on our pizza to be delivered to our table. The pizza was hot and crisp with the perfect number of toppings and gooey cheese. Oy my goodness we were wanting more, almost sad we didn't order a larger size. Service was wonderful during our visit and yes, we'll return again sometime soon. Thank you Campisi's for a wonderful relaxing visit.

1st time tonight!!! Bartender was fine, amazing and so worth watching make drinks!! The pizza was delicious and the restaurant manager was so friendly! I love how dark it was in the restaurant. Got a quick date in and I enjoyed the conversation at the bar with guest. The lasagna was so tasty, and the cheese pizza was amazing. We would recommend this location for date night or dinner with a group.

It was my mom's birthday and she was in the mood for Italian. I had heard good things about Pie Tap…read moreso Pie Tap it was! We came in on a cold Monday night. We parked at street parking across the restaurant without issue. Inside, we were promptly seated. The inside is nice and dim with an open kitchen. We started the night off with the Fondue. The rosemary buffs were delicious and the perfect vehicle for the two different dips - goat cheese fondue and pecan pepper jam. I really enjoyed the goat cheese. It was nice and hearty, pairing very well with the bread. The pepper jam added a sweet touch but I'm more a savory person so I was more than content with the cheese itself. My mom got the papparadelle and bolognese while I got the sausage pizza. The papparadelle was nice and al dente. It paired well with the bolognese sauce. However, I felt it was warm when it came out so it got cold quickly. The sausage pizza was delicious! The star of the pie were easily the carmelized onions - added such a perfect level of sweetness that it really elevated the whole dish. The crust also went well with the cheese from the fondue. At this point in the evening, we were feeling pretty full. Nonetheless, our waiter, Seamus, knew it was my mom's birthday. With that in mind, he treated us to the donuts. They came with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam. Both were good. I personally preferred the chocolate since that's what I usually lean more towards. We thought it was such a nice gesture. The night was that much more special because of Seamus. Overall, althrough everything wasn't perfect (not that it should have been), the work and effort was clearly there. Looking forward to coming back again one day.

So they quickly made Mac and cheese that was really soupy because it was rushed...and overall I was just kind of disappointed. Especially since it was a rainy Tuesday, the restaurant wasn't slammed busy at all. The flavor of my dish was tasty, it was saucy, it just wasn't hot and that sucked. I am willing to come back and have my star rating changed.

As a resident on Magnolia, we're fortunate to have many great restaurants to support. Cane Rosso…read morewas no exception. My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

On today's visit, Sun March 15, it was not very busy but people were waiting. Whether that was to order, to leave, or to get their food. When we were asked how many, the hostess walked away without any explanation. Just kind of left standing. After five minutes we were seated. This is where this location just falls apart, no one ever seems to be focused or attentive when we have been there. The staff does seem to enjoy being inside the small area behind the curtain. Our order was taken after a bit. We ordered the cherris and burrata, love those!!! For sure try them. CBF and chicken tika are solid pizzas. If you want an extra kick, get it spicy. I also ask for mine to be well done. If you have any aversion to possible burn area as on your crust, don't do well done. On this visit one of us ordered the build your own, ingredients were left off. We didn't say anything because it took long enough to get the order. We had to get our servers attention for the check. They dropped it so fast we couldn't say anything about asking to have the left off item removed from the bill. Wasn't worth the wait! Look, Cane Rosso is wonderful. We tend to take out of town visitors here. These past two visits to the FW location, just disappointing.

I don't know if our server was new or not, but her lack of attention and service made a great meal pretty bad. We bought 3 pizzas and were given no plates to use for our 18" one, so we waited 5-6 minutes for our server to come by. I finally just went in and got some plates myself. We were given no napkins or flatware, so we got that ourselves after about 10 minutes. After being out of water for 10 minutes, I had to ask for more...then had to remind her after 5 minutes, before she finally refilled it several minutes later. Eating food just isn't enjoyable when you're very thirsty. :( Initially, when the food was brought to the table, I asked our server what kind of Sam Adams was on tap (the menu says to ask). She said she would find out. Five minutes later, I asked again, and she said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I'll go find out." A few minutes later, I asked yet again, and she said that "the Sam" was on the way. Surprised, I said that I hadn't ordered one but had simply asked which Sam Adams was on tap. She didn't know, so she had to check my tab to see what it said. It was the Sam Adams Summer, which I don't care for, so I asked her to cancel it, which she did. But, she then walked away without me getting to order a different beer! Aaaannnnddd...others at the table sat with empty glasses for the last half of the meal. Wow, y'all. It was busy, but we were shocked by the lack of service. It doesn't fit with the service we've received at Zoli's previously. It makes me sad to have had such an unenjoyable meal with such good food and company.

First bite--crust had that perfect balance of crispy on the outside but still soft inside. The sauce actually has flavor (which a lot of places miss), and they don't skimp on the toppings. When I took my first bite, it was immediately obvious the pizza was not fresh. The cheese wasn't hot or melty like a freshly made pizza should be. Instead, it appears they used pre-made slices that were already sitting out and combined them to make a 14" pizza. I did not receive a fresh pie--just reheated, old slices passed off as a new pizza. That's unacceptable, especially at this price point. If a customer orders a fresh large pizza, it should actually be made fresh, not assembled from leftover slices and warmed up. Very disappointed and I will not be returning to this location. Customers should be aware that ordering a "fresh" pizza here may result in exactly what I experienced--a rip-off.
