We had tried this place for takeout and decided we had to also try it out in person to support local. We had a table full of both kids and adults, and when we decided to eat in, the people taking our order were very sweet. We were offered wine glasses as we didn't know it was a place to BYOB. The weather was great and the patio was nice. We tried a few different pizzas (Maria's BBQ, Grace's, Meat and cheese, and one more at the suggestion of the employees) + Mac and cheese and wings. This is for the Aledo location. The rating is for mis-information. I called to see if they were open and taking orders. I called the number listed "on their website". I was greeted with a recorded message in I think, Spanish. I called several times in a row and got the recording each time until maybe the 5th time I called, then a woman answered "Hello?" I asked if this was Palio's and she told me I had the wrong number. Offline, I confirmed multiple times that I was calling the number listed on their website (817-615-9313). If I have made an error, I will apologize/remove this review and try this place out. If however, I am correct, I hope the restaurant corrects their website and I would love to try them out. read more

Love this local pizza place. Very convenient location. Always get a cauliflower crust. My kids love their dessert pizza. The King calzone or pizza is great. My kids love the Bearcat pizza that comes with green sauce. They also have good salads, reasonably sized to share as a side with your pizza. read more

I had the Mediterranean I'd put it on the lower scale of pizzas, it was pretty much void of flavor actually had to add salt just to get some taste. Also had a Greek salad it was fresh but the dressing was more like French with some vinaigrette added in, it was ok but wouldn't classify it as a Greek salad. Service was pleasant. read more

Good pizza- I think they improved from when they opened. One warning- do not go in there if you are hungry and they are busy. We waited 40 minutes for a cheese pizza and had to go home since our kids couldn't wait any longer. I believe they should have let us know when we ordered. Just ate at Palio's for the first time and it was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, the cafe was clean and provided indoor and outdoor seating areas, and the food was so good! I got Molly's Pizza and my husband got Franks Buffalo Chicken Pizza - best cafe pizza we've ever had. Along with our pizzas we got Greek salads, which were also very good, the dressing was amazing for the Greek, and the sizes of the salads and pizzas are very generous portions. We also decided to try two desserts, two different cheesecakes (don't judge us) & those were just as amazing as everything else. Overall we had a great experience, lots of leftovers, and will definitely be recommending it and coming back in the future. read more

I have been to this location a few times mostly ordering to go/pick up, but I am just now getting around to writing a review because I feel it is necessary at this point after picking up an order the other day. This honestly has nothing to do with the food except for a couple of suggestions below. Okay suggestions; the sereen whole wheat pizza is my favorite. The sedona salad is also delicious. My husband always gets the spaghetti and meatballs or the meat and cheese deluxe. So as far as the food goes I have had good experiences at this location... but this is what this review is about; last week I was in there when I noticed one of the girls working do something I was honestly shocked by, two young men who also seemed to have worked there came into the store wearing their off work clothing walking around behind the counter where my food was being prepared by two workers in their pailo's uniforms. This bothered me for sanitary reasonings. It turned out they were in there to pick up tips... This is the part that shocked me, it seemed the manager came out to give the boys their tips when they started playing around that they were going to take other people's tips. The manager was joking around with them. After they were done play fighting over the tips the manager then told the other employee (that was making my food) that she was going to give (I think she said) "Laura's tips" to him if she would've had some in there. WHAT! And she was serious the other employee was like "Kennedy you can't do that". OKAY I AM SORRY! This review is not the costumer service of this place or the food directly. BUT being someone who has worked in the service industry nearly my entire work life, this is unacceptable behavior of a manager, joking, cutting up, having fun is one thing, but to mess with other peoples money joke or not, is not okay. ALSO to do this in front of a handful of people inside your restaurant also doesn't seem okay to me. She didn't seem to take her job very seriously at all. Just an observation in the restaurant and you can tell the store lacks organization. And the two boys that came in to get their tips just left me thinking there is a bunch of kids running wild in that restaurant. I also feel bad saying that since the other guy and girl making my food did an excellent job. And my food was great. But it did make me start to question what else the manager doesn't take seriously in the restaurant. read more

Been in twice recently, 45 minutes to an hour before they close. Both times chairs up on the tables. Rude employee Shouts from back of the restaurant that the dining room is closed and they are only willing to sell a few things on the menu. If you're not going to be open for business during your advertised hours, change your business hours. read more

Then decided on some cheesecake and went back and had to wait 7 minutes for the cashier to get it out of the refrigerator cooler that was literally right next to her. Then waited 35 minutes and were asked "Ma'am what is the name on the order" by the individual who was making the pizzas. He then had a look of "oh crap" and said give me 10 minutes. I requested my money back and they asked for 5 minutes. 20 minutes later we finally got the pizza. Way too long for 2 small pizzas. Never again will we come back. read more

Good job, great pizza. Super accommodating and even though it's not on the menu, they serve vegan cheese. Their vegetarian options are great, they offer gluten free crust. There are selections for even the pickiest pizza eaters. There's something for everyone. Might be the best pizza option easily in a 20 mile radius. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

Had a great experience here. Shortly after placing my order the power went out. Due to the storm outside. The guys continued cooking, but unfortunately had to submit to the weathers inconvenient behavior . Luckily my order was just at its completion at the time... All except the breadsticks. Because of the inconvenience of breadsticks I was giving a full refund and my original order as well. I never actually write reviews but I think the level of pride that was taken during this inconvenience, especially being that it was a "act of god" which the restaurant couldn't be at any flat of there own and priority towards the customer deserved these stars... plus the Alfredo was awesome!!!! 5 starts guys. Tried Palio's again tonight after my last order disaster. Placed a takeout order ( AGAIN). Food seemed fine, except for both slices of cheesecake molded. Called store, they offered cheesecake from freezer. Couldn't go back tonight, but they took name and promised to give free cheesecake next time. Person who told us this, said she would tell manager. We spent over $100 on Halloween and our pizza showed up wrong and almost 2 hours late. We called to speak to the manager and was told there was no manager in that night. We called the next night and "Jeff" called us from home after our complaint. I was told we would be getting refunded and that they were extremely sorry, understandable as things happen sometimes. We have yet to get a refund and we will never order from this store again. Apparently it is under new ownership but yet it still has the same problems. Buyers beware. read more

The food is good here and another local BYOB option is nice to have here in Aledo. UNFORTUNATELY, the service is ridiculously bad. I live very nearby and have been here on multiple occasions. I have seen the kids behind the counter appear to argue who was going to come to the cash register as we enter. We have gone without our salads being delivered and having to ask for them again after the pizza has arrived. We have also had our order skipped over, TWICE!!! The first time the manager did approach us about complimentary ice cream, but we weren't interested. Last night, on a slow night, we order and sit down, salad comes out fine, but then we are waiting and waiting. Finally I notice that the one other couple that had arrived, several minutes after us, received their order. So I asked if our order had been skipped yet again! Not skipped this time, but boxed up for carry out and sitting there!!! Just sitting there in a box, without any concern that the order had a salad and drinks and waiting customers. Food is good, but how many fails can one place be allowed, this was strike number 5 after all. Luckily for them this is a small town with few options. The chain should realize that this is their brand being represented and when I'm passing another Palio's in another town, I'm going to remember the horrible service at my own local restaurant and move on down the road. Great place to eat. Service was outstanding and the pizza was the best I have had. The owner is always there and checking on customers.

My biggest complaint is the sanitation. I watched the person cooking touch her hair and clothing items, and then touch the food without gloves or washing her hands. In fact, none of the staff touching food either washed their hands or wore gloves. Surely, this is a health code violation. read more
