Got a slice of Round Pie's Grandma pie last week to-go while in the middle of my work day... and OMG I wish I had a whole pie. It's thin crust, which isn't my favorite, but I was on board for something different. Did the honey roni, loved the basil. The problem is 1) the pie wasn't crisp enough for a thin crust, and 2) they used cheep pepperoni. Too bad too, this could have been really good. On February 11, 2026 I tried Round Pie after hearing about it in the Freehold New Jersey area. I live in a surrounding town and made the trip to their Rt. 9 location. If you like thin crust pizza you'll love Round Pie. Thin crust is one of my favorites and Round Pie was great. Good firm crust, no flop, very tasty flavorful sauce, good cheese. The sauce didn't give me agita 3 to 6 to 9 hours later and it was tasty. The pie was hot out of the oven and cheese was stringy at first but after cooling a bit it firmed up. Had a plain and 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage. The sausage was great the way I like it crumble pieces on the pie, the pepperoni was small thin slices that cupped up. Highly recommend if you like thin crust pizza. The ambience was plan and simple maybe id consider it a little cold looking. read more

Sorry, I was not impressed with the pizza here. The crust is overly thin, and burnt almost to a char. I got a half plain and half mushroom pie, and none of the slices have any discernible taste. Sure, the crust is crispy and chewy, and the tomato sauce comes across nicely, but you barely taste any cheese and the mushrooms are tasteless. If you are looking for better pizza, drive a little further up 516 and go to Krispy Pizza. That will not disappoint you, like Round Pie did. read more

We have tried majority of the pizzas. All delicious. The buffalo wings are fire the salads and soups are okay, but not crazy about them. Salads could have more chicken and the pasta Fagioli soup had under cooked beans in it. My orders are always ready on time and I'm never left waiting long. I was a little disappointed at my first time trying out this establishment. I'd read great reviews and it was within a decent driving distance, so I decided to give it a shot. I did like that service was friendly and they offer curbside pickup. We ordered 2 different specialty pizzas and some pasta for my kiddo. The pasta had a nice flavor, but was almost stale and hard. I loved the hot honey roni pizza, but my sister's vodka pie with chicken... well, the chicken was really hard, she said. Maybe there was a consistency to the fact that some of our order seemed stale and hard... we did order later in the day? RPP Co is the latest pizzeria to open in the area, which is already saturated with pizzas, many of the spots having loyal customers and following, so they need to really wow, to turn people. I stopped in to get a quick lunch and to take the leftovers to go. My selection was a margarita pie. The crust was a bit burned, although I was assured it wouldn't be. The crust was good and thin, which I prefer, over thicker option, and was not heavy on cheese. It was easy to eat and didn't leave me felling full and heavy . I would characterize the taste to be a bit bland. There was insufficient flavor in the dough, or the ingredients, perhaps due to lack of either oil or salt in the formulation. I will try another pie again, next time, and see if it delivers bigger popping flavor, because I do like a thin crust. 4/10/20 update. Was sort of empty, with one table occupied and no one waiting. Young girl at the register was friendly and efficient. The crust was thin and crunchy. Might have needed a minute more in the oven, as there was no sign of the expected char on the edges. However, was better than the overly burned crust offered by another local source of thin crust. A better alternative to Krispy Pizza. We were in the area and were curious and now we're a fan. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The person who appeared to be the manager or owner was very amicable. We noticed how everyone behind the counter smiled which made the place more inviting and that's just the people. The food was just as amazing as the staff. He even offered us zeppole on the house to try and it was delicious. They offer a variety of thin crust pies as well as a decent selection of entrees. We definitely will be back. Place was always clean including the tables and the bathroom. I still can't believe how nice everyone was. It really makes a difference. Definitely will be coming back. Came by to try a slice since everyones been raving about it. Definitely gives off a chain restaurant vibe but its not a bad thing. With so many Italian restaurants in such a close proxmity a little variety is a great thing. Real krispy slices, but could totally use more cheese throughout the pie. First off, i don't want this to reflect on the FOH staff. They're were polite and attentive. This review is strictly on the food. I ordered a large plain pizza with garlic knots. Most of these reviews have to be paid or fake. The sauce tasted tangy like it was straight out of a can without any sort of basil or seasoning. I had to eat my slice with a mozzarella stick in order to have ANY sort of cheese on it, since it drenched in sauce. The dough was overly burnt and tasted like a plain cracker. Now I get that some places "dust" their oven but it tasted like the oven hadn't been cleaned because the back of the pizza was covered in burnt crumbs. The "dusting" didn't even add to the flavor. The garlic "knots" tasted like uncooked dough with a bitter aftertaste. I wasn't going to write a review because it had a big banner outside that said "Family owned" and times are tough. I wanted to support a small business. However, when i went back to the website's About Me section, it has ZERO info about the family. It comes off as a chain making HORRIBLE pizza masquerading as a "Mom & Pop." If thats not the case, then they need A LOT of improvement. read more

Overall, a solid 4-star experience. The atmosphere inside is modern and reminds me of a chipotle type of vibe. Definitely a place where you wouldn't care to dine-in on a weekend night, leaving take-out as the only option (since there is no delivery). As for the food, the slice options are pretty traditional - I had a slice of the round pie and vodka. The thin crust was cooked perfectly on both, but they also could have used more sauce. I saw this pizzeria on Instagram and had to see if the chicken parm tasted half as good as it looked. Well it tasted 100x better this was the most perfect chicken Parmesan I've ever eaten tender perfectly breaded fried sauce is outstanding and perfect amount of cheese. The pizza is just as delicious. I've been to Round Pie both here in Old Bridge and in Matawan at least 7-8 times. Usually, the customer service is superb. Today, however, I went in to pick-up my pizza pies at Old Bridge. Girl at the front was taking an order over the phone. A guy in the back looked at me, put a pie in the oven - I thought he would then give me my order but no, he went back to his station and looked over at me again. Someone in the back glanced out and came out - I thought he would help me but instead, he went over to the first guy and they started chatting. I had to wait for the girl in the front to finish taking the order and then she helped me. This is extremely poor customer service - my order was ready to go - just needed to be given to me. Instead they're busy chatting and hugging each other. Not sure what the story is. This is the first time this has happened. Previously, if the person in the front is busy, someone from the back would come out to give me my order. read more
