Sadly, Krispy Pizza missed the mark for me. I got hyped seeing all the pizza from social media that I wanted to try one of their locations closest to me. I ordered online and upon arriving, it was very busy inside. I ordered a plain cheese pizza, as I feel like it's the best way to give the most general feedback. The pizza I got wasn't crispy at all. Maybe from sitting in the box for a short while I was in line. The cheese was a bit overwhelming for me as it overtook most of the slices since the dough was so thin. The sauce was probably the only thing I did enjoy, even though I could only taste it toward the end of the crust. It had just the right amount of sweetness and tang. I would be willing to give Krispy Pizza another shot, but probably at their more famous Brooklyn location and as a dine-in.

    Margherita Pizza

My wife and I finally visited Krispy Pizza after reading so many great reviews on a Jersey pizza lovers group. We ordered a Margherita pizza and it was absolutely fantastic! The fresh mozzarella and sauce were bursting with flavor. The crust was perfectly done with a slight char. We had a few slices left over and we had them cold this morning. I've passed Krispy Pizza many times and this is now our go to place. Our next visit with be to try their eggplant parmigiana.

9/12/25 - While running errands, the dinner bell in my stomach rang. I have driven by Krispy Pizza in Old Bridge, NJ hundreds of times and tonight I was determined to stop. Krispy markets their Brooklyn heritage the minute you walk in. There's pictures of Brooklyn pasted all over the walls. But before you even get to that, the parking situation will remind you of Brooklyn. The lot is ridiculously small with cars and trucks lined up wherever they can fit in hopes of grabbing the next available spot. I personally think the name Krispy Pizza is a bit silly for a shop that wants you to associate them with Brooklyn but I wont hold that against them. After God smiles upon you with a spot, you head into a mob scene. No one directs you where to order. The people waiting by the counter run two to three deep. Almost everyone is shaking their heads in frustration. Its impossible to know who already ordered, who phoned in, who is waiting to place an order and where you should be standing. And there are no tables to be had. I literally asked a waitress for help. After finally placing our order, we noticed they weren't putting our slices in the oven. Why? The ovens were full. After another 15 minutes, the waitress directed me to a table while my son stayed behind to secure the order. This is where the bad ends however. The pizza is delightful and with the first bite, you understand why all these people are here and putting up with a terrible dining experience. The pizza is that good. I had a plain neopolitan, a Palermo Sicilian and a Tri-Color Sicilian. The plain is crunchy and flavorful. Nothing but premium ingredients here. It was cooked well and not dry at all. The tri-color Sicilian had great Sicilian flavor as well. The unexpected flavor here is pesto. Although I didn't expect pesto, it absolutely works and adds another level of flavor to an already wonderful slice. But my favorite by far was the Palermo Sicilian. The sauce is a flavor bomb of tomatoes, onions and garlic. It's the top right one in the slice picture. And both Sicilian slices have that fantastic Sicilian flavored crust. I gave the place heavy deductions for the parking, ordering and seating experience which is nothing less than stressful. The only way to fix this is by getting a new spacious location with big parking lot. Overall Rating: B+

Five-Star Review for Krispy This Pizza joint is a must-visit! We tried the mozzarella stick and fries slice with Big Mac-style sauce, the barbecue chicken slice, and a slice with three different sauces--each one was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold, the crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were generous. Beyond the amazing pizza, the service was excellent--friendly, fast, and welcoming. The seating area is comfortable, casual, and clean, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy your meal. If you're a pizza lover looking for creative and well-executed slices, this is the place to go. I happened to notice that it was BYOB people were enjoying wine with pizza and although casual it's a great date night spot Highly recommend!

It's a very pretty pizza restaurant. Very busy on the weekends for dinner with families coming to eat dinner there. There is parking available in the back....youll most likely need to park here bc it's that busy. I've never been a fan of the pizza here though. Stick with the Krispini sandwich though!

Finally made it to Krispy Pizza and was not disappointed. It was on a late Friday and it was busy. Service was great considering it was so busy. Ordered a couple of Sicilian slices as an appetizer for me an my son and it hit the spot. It's was saucy as I like it and very crispy. One of the best Sicilian slices I've had. We also ordered a large pepperoni & it was equally delicious. Everything was fresh! I highly recommend checking this place out! I know I will be back again!

We were in town for hockey with the NJ Titans and stopped into a place we saw on TikTok. Several brothers following in the family biz with locations in NJ and NY. We went non traditional with this pie. Pep, fresh mozzarella, ricotta, hot honey & basil.

Great go to spot for pizza! Cannot say enough good things about the square vodka pie, the sauce is incredible. Also got the meatball and chicken parm subs which were fantastic. The only negative was the wait time for delivery which took about an hour.

    Bottom is not structurally sound

This is my Well Done pizza...please cook it more so l can enjoy again. Not sure what happened...

We came to this spot after learning it from Joe Rogans podcast. Thank goodness I listened and actually took this into consideration this time. The ambiance and decor is definitely something you wouldn't expect. You walk in and it feels like a restaurant in the Italian countryside. Rustic and classy at the time. Great spot for formal occasions and dates. Thanks to our amazing waitress (Carmen) recommendations and service for our meal were top tier. For our appetizers it was recommended that we split the Wagyu Meatballs, Caesar salad and prosciutto with burrata. For the second round, we split 2 pasta dishes. Red wine parpadelle with short braised short rib and spicy rigatoni. Both dishes were amazing, however I can whole heartedly say that the spicy rigatoni was the favorite. Only bad thing I can say is that I wish there was more. Even though we had more than enough food, we foolishly ordered. A third round for entree which comprised of Ribeye with complimentary roasted bone marrow, filet mignon, seared tuna steak and Pork chops. All the entrees were exceptional and cooked to perfection. Owner (Anthony) and manager Norman were gracious enough to check in on us, making sure everything was to our liking. The staff here were very hospitable and really made our first time experience a memorable one. Will definitely be coming back with the rest of my friends and family.

For appys, we had a wedge salad w/ a slice of bacon, which my wife enjoyed. I had baked clams, which I loved! For dinner, my wife had Filet Mignon and mac & cheese on the side. For dessert, my wife had the affogato, which both of us loved. The only disappointment of the night was the Tiramisu, not flavorful at all. The service was top-notch, I appreciated that the waiter was not a kid, which so many places use these days. It's very expensive, $380 for two (BYOB), including tip. As great a meal as it was, I don't think I will be a regular. If I come back, it won't be for the steak, mine cost $115. The mains don't include sides, it's all a la carte. I was especially looking forward to ordering the ribeye and lit up instantly when the server listed it as one of the specials. The server shared that he would need to collect the orders for all of our courses at the same time which was fine with me. I actually had more confidence in the timing of everything for that reason. Our server had a delightful energy particularly at the beginning of our visit. After we placed our orders, everything began to fall apart. It did get noticeably busy since we first arrived, but we ultimately waited for our main entrees for over 3 hours. 3 hours. The table ordered the charred octopus and the oysters to start. The oysters hit the table fairly quickly, but then we began to gradually notice how long it was taking for the octopus to come. I had only a slither of the octopus so that I could say I tried it. Everyone at the table raved about the taste. I did, however, agree that their oysters were delicious especially when dressed with a little bit of mignonette, lemon, horseradish and a touch of Tabasco sauce. I'm excited to now report that I am a fan of fresh oysters from the east coast, because apparently the coast matters. The table also ordered the canaletto stuffed with mascarpone, parmesan and another cheese, langostines and lobster with morel mushroom cream sauce, garnished with truffles. I passed on this one also as it was too adventurous for my taste buds; although, their delicious bread and our drinks did distract me for a little while. The restaurant is BYOB, so we had our wine to keep us company while we observed other tables come and go. We eventually asked to see the manager and was told there wasn't a manager on duty which was either untrue or a very poor decision on the part of the owners considering it was a Friday evening. Having someone occasionally check in with our table may have also helped to take the pressure off of the server who may have gotten overwhelmed or decided to prioritize other tables. Having a manager offer a personal apology may have helped us feel less forgotten about. After the three hour mark, we decided this was enough. I didn't have much to eat at this point, but I wasn't at all worried initially since I was there for the main event, the ribeye. I stopped a hostess who was walking past our table and asked for the manager. We were again told the manager is not here but can be called, if needed. I simply replied, "Please do". Shortly afterwards, I noticed our server who at this time was standing by the host stand briskly walk into the kitchen and then return to our table with our plates. I sent the food back which was a decision that was supported by everyone at the table. Let me tell you, that was a difficult decision to make, but I also was ready to call it a night. Our mood had changed, and I truly felt like we were derservant of having the same experience as everyone else that night. Our server apologized for his part to play in the ordeal which I appreciated since I know his intention was never malicious, but unfortunately we had to call this night a bust. He offered us dessert on the house, and our entire meal was comped which we felt was an appropriate resolution. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bread pudding which was a favorite. Very good. Jasper Stone is a beautiful establishment with decorative yellow and white floral arrangements throughout the dining area. It is clearly a popular restaurant and has many positive reviews. I regret that I could not have a comparable experience.

The rice balls were made with black rice-quite a surprise when we cut into them! The pulpo was tender and excellent. Both appetizers were very good. If you are looking for spicy Fra Diavolo, I would suggest mentioning to the waiter you want some heat. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo was very good but not at all spicy. The mushroom risotto was very good as well. One of the specials was chicken cutlets with fresh tomatoes, olives, with a light sauce and topped with shaved mozzarella. This was served with roasted potatoes on the side, and it was excellent. The chicken was so flavorful and so tender you could cut it with a fork. Two of us had this special and it did not disappoint. We ended the night with coffee and two desserts. The creme brulee had a coffee flavor and was good. We also ordered a chocolate souffle, which definitely did not resemble anything close to a souffle. The flavor was fine but it flat, almost like a pancake. It was closer to a flatter molten lava cake. (Guess we should have been suspicious when we didn't have to wait extra time for the souffle.) Now for our main gripe. When one of us asked if the special chicken could be made without garlic (due to an allergy), the server said 'of course - nothing is impossible'. This was a lovely response to the request. However, when we received the check, there was a $4.00 charge for 'no garlic'. Really? We eat out in all sorts of restaurants from casual to very high end, and never have we ever seen this. This very small charge left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). For this reason we gave only three stars - nice ambiance inside and outdoor seating under a gazebo, pleasant, friendly service, and good food, but the extra charge for omitting an ingredient was very disappointing.
