When we asked for water, the waitress said that they didn't have any glasses for the water. What do you mean you don't have any glasses for water? It felt like she was playing a joke or blatantly trying to upset us. Icing on the cake, the waitress served my dad an expired beer. She claimed it was their last can. When he confronted her about the date on the can, she was rude, and did not really seem to care about serving expired alcohol. The manager also brushed us off. So upsetting. I don't ever aim to bash businesses, especially local ones, but it is disappointing to find out that going to restaurants marketed as luxe and upscale doesn't mean you are going to be treated in such a way, at all. The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Jenny was our server and she took such great care of us. From providing menu recommendations to keeping the food flowing, she really added to our dining experience. My husband had a really nice caesar salad with salmon on top that he loved. I enjoyed the spicy rigatoni with fried chicken and it was very good and plentiful. I couldn't finish my meal so now I have a nice portion of leftovers in the freezer when I have my pasta craving. Tiramisu dessert and a perfect cappuccino was also very good-- so much food and so good. We will definitely be back.
