Very disappointed in the whole entire experience. They caused an additional $1,000 worth of damage to the vehicle that they were supposed to be repairing. They oversprayed the vehicle when they were supposed to be repairing it. I brought it to the attention of Alf Howard. He stated they would take care of it. It has been over a year & we haven't received reimbursement. They told us 10 days to fix our vehicle. It took 4 months. Stay far away from these people. read more

After being "fixed" by this company, my car is making horrible sounds and vibrations that are only getting louder as time goes on. These issues are DIRECTLY caused by the poor body work done on my car. They are not mechanical as the car is practically new. They IGNORE my phone calls and voice mails. I paid them almost 14 thousand dollars (via insurance).. and now they can't be bothered. Veronica was very difficult to work with. She was really nice until I signed the authorization release to have them work on my car, and after it was rude emails once in a while to "update" me. The work took nearly 3 months. When I picked up my car, it was a mess, covered in white dust from sitting in their body shop and the interior literally had plastic parts missing and spray painted with random markings. Now, a year later... and the car is trashed and drives poorly from the "repairs" and these guys can't even answer the phone. They also lie about using original Honda parts. They practice insurance fraud as well... ballooning the estimates to line their pockets while treating customers and their vehicles like garbage. THESE REVIEWS ARE REAL. Communication from this business is shockingly poor. I sat in the waiting room when picking up our car and called the office number as an experiment and neither phone rang for the front receptionist or the person in the adjacent office. Both ladies did not seem very busy, but the office phone is set to go directly to voicemail. Messages left for our consultant have no response - you're lucky if he calls back a few days later. The car was there for almost two months and they blame the insuance company and ordering parts for the long delay. Who knows? Our consultant had told us the car was done and would be cleaned and final insurance matters finalized the following morning. We called to confirm it was ready, and no surprize, no answer or call back. We came at noon to give them the time to finish up and our consultant was still dealing with the insurance company and stated that he needed to "hold the car as colatteral" to make sure they were paid. I could not believe he said that and I told him that was unacceptable and needed the car back that day. He went back and contacted the insuance company and got it worked out. Upon examining the car later that day, a piece of the trim work was in the trunk uninstalled and another piece was not installed correctly. They did correct these errors the next day. On a positive note, the repair itself after the errors were corrected including paint work is good, so if you can deal with poor communication and an unorganized staff go for it. read more

My car was rear-ended at a dead stop by an 80-year-old guy on oxygen who was unfortunately insured by Fred Loya. Based on the recommendation of Round Rock Honda, I took my car to Round Rock Collision for a preliminary estimate. That went well. This is a busy shop, though, so the appointment to get it fixed didn't happen for a couple of months. Not a problem as I was in no hurry and my car was drivable. The first problem, though, was that I took my car back on a Tuesday, and the supplement request for additional money from Fred Loya wasn't sent until Friday. What is the point of making an appointment for a particular day when the work can't be done on that day? All that needed to happen was for someone to remove the liftgate of my SUV, inspect the damage, and send the supplement request. That could have been done in one day. The second problem is that the estimated time for the repair was four days and it actually took a week. This was not a problem for me, but it created a problem with Fred Loya, and thus far they have refused to reimburse me for rental fees incurred for those additional days. (There were other issues with Fred Loya, which is a horrible insurance company, but the point of this review is that Round Rock Collision dropped the ball on providing the supplement request in a timely fashion and providing an accurate estimate of how long the repir would take) Fred Loya failed to approve the supplement request for over a week, so they are at fault more than Round Rock Collision, but the delay by the body shop to send the supplement request combined with the actual time of repair (versus the estimated time of repair) has caused me a major headache with the reimbursement of the rental car fees. I want to emphasize that the work on my SUV was top-notch. I was very impressed by the job Round Rock Collision did (as well as the fact that they had my car detailed before I picked it up). However, because of the two issues described above, I can only give them three stars. Without those issues, I would have given them five. UPDATE: A day after posting this review, the general manager of Round Rock Collision contacted me and offered a resolution to this situation. I'm very impressed that he took the time to call me and listen to my complaint. I'm updating my review to five stars based on his willingness to remedy this matter. read more

if you value your time your money and vehicle do not take it to this shop I've been in the automotive industry for over 30 yrs and this has got to be the most incompetent shop I've been to from the manager down to one of the receptionist. The way our vehicle was handled and the way we were treated was one of the worst experiences ever. Not only are they incompetent but very rude. Had our vehicle for over a month without a single phone call and to top it off our vehicle wasn't even fixed right and that was another headache. Don't bother calling upper management they won't do anything. I actually told the service writer what my main concern was and took pictures of it and still wasn't fixed right. If you happen to get a service writer named Robert request a different total incompetence on his part. This service writer and the receptionist seriously don't know how to return a call. I've never treated any of my customers the way my wife and I treated. The only person that was nice was a young Hispanic lady. Veronica who helped me deal with insurance went to bat for me! (State Farm Insurance is the worst to deal with). She handled them like a champ. I also wanted to thank the collision manager and Kim T who helped me get my car back to running shape. I know having a wrecked car is the worst but they made this experience wonderful. I bought my car there and now repaired, and will continue doing more business with them. Ohh and my car repair was great! I have been a customer of round rock Honda service department for over 10 years, The service department is a 5 star department. They recommend RR Collision center to replace windshield. Since it is owned by Penske, I figured it would also be a 5 star department. When I called about replacing windshield, they had my information since I am a customer. I was told, they would send me a quote by Friday. about replace windshield, since I wanted an EOM windshield. I am now on hold and been on hold for 16:23 minutes and no one has answered. They picked up at over 17 minutes. You cannot blame the people who answered the phone. I can't understand why if you have been a customer of RR Honda for over 10 years, the collision center can't operate like the service department which is 5 stars. read more

After having called them to schedule to have my car towed there; and after having their confirmation that they were expecting my car. They rejected it when the tow brought my car to them by mistake. My insurance company doesn't cover extra tows caused by repair shop mistakes. The funny thing is that they acknowledged that rejecting the car was their mistake. Our car was getting work done on the back bumper from a minor accident when the hail storm came through. Our car had the bumper taken off and we were waiting for parts arrive. The car was totaled from the hail storm after being left outside over the weekend. The manager, Kevin Zimmerman, was not only rude and condescending to us but he also withheld money from us. I received an email from Veronica that stated "Sorry I didn't mention that there was restocking fees for the parts, a total of $493.85 and 5 hours of labor for tech a total of $295.00 so that is taken out of the insurance check we have." We could understand the tech fees maybe even though the job wasn't done, but when asked about why they are charging us nearly $500 for restocking fees Kevin said "well who do you think should pay for it. Because we shouldn't have to pay for that." Additionally, their bodyshop is owned by the Penske Group. They own the Hyundai over there as well; which was the make of our totaled car. This makes you wonder about those "restocking fees" if they have the same owner. Considering our new car was totaled in their care Kevin could have out of good faith waved those fees but instead made an incredibly difficult situation for us even more stressful. I would never take my car here. Kevin and the management do not care about their customers. read more

I do not have the words to describe how awesome my experience with Rockin R Collision was. From the moment I walked in to the moment I picked up my car, the service was top notch. I never write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for this amazing business. I have a 2023 Ford Expedition that needed a new bumper and tail light. After shopping around, it was either the customer service was not good or the price was astronomical. Neither of these things were a problem at R&R. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted and provided with a fair quote for the repair. After I dropped off my car, I was asked if I needed a ride home! I had a ride, but I was NOT expecting that. A job that I anticipated would take 2-3 days took LESS THAN 12 HOURS. Granted, it wasn't a huge job, but still - you prepare for the worst. The owner, Mr. Charlie, worked with me personally and I would even say, treated me like a dear friend. Communication was clear and prompt, professionalism was excellent, and the repair was perfect. They even washed my car before I picked it up! Don't bother looking anywhere else if you have a car repair issue. read more

Had a minor fender bender (both a AAA service rep and mechanic assured me that the damage was minimal) and Round Rock Collision gave me an estimate of 3k. Then I very briefly spoke on the phone with my estimator, he heard my voice (I am a young girl) .... and an additional 3k of "overlooked" damages was magically added to the bill. He didn't even tell me once the extra 3k was added. Very, very little communication. All email responses from them are less than a full sentence. I'm sure a padded estimate of 3k means nothing to my estimator / the General Manager -- but for me, a college student with not much disposable income, the difference determines if I can pay rent or not. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIR. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND DISHONEST BUSINESS. Travis Marullo, was the "estimators" that did a walk through of my car damages with me. -I was in a collision a few weeks ago where another driver hit the side of my car and hit me from the back and caused severe damage to the whole right side of my vehicle. I pointed out to Travis that as soon as the driver hit the back of my car, all of my sensors and backup cameras starting malfunctioning and sounding off noises that would not turn off. He said the only thing we can do is to put paint on top of it. And that he couldn't replace the full bumper because it was "Too much work" and they aren't "liable" to do that/ insurance company won't approve it. I reiterated to him that a quick paint fix wasn't going to fix the dent in my back bumper and damage he did to the sensors. I told him I wanted to make sure the bumper was taken apart fully so they could see any other damage that was happening from underneath the bumper. Travis then started to roll his eyes and talk over me loudly. I politely asked if there was a supervisor I could speak to if he wasn't going to take my request seriously to look further into the damage. He then laughed at me and told me "why don't you take it somewhere else then?" That is then when I went inside and asked to speak to supervisor to explain my concerns. As soon as the supervisor came outside with me to inspect the car, Travis changed his whole demeanor and acted like he was doing his job to look good in-front of his peer. After a few days, Travis called me to tell me that they could only give me $400 towards fixing the back bumper AND I would have to take it to a different body shop because they aren't going to be liable for it. He was acting like this the car insurance's problem and he couldn't do anything about it. Instead of replacing the WHOLE BUMPER like they should they are trying to finagle their way and intimidate me to settle. A new bumper for Lexus (without including labor costs) costs around $2,000. I would NEVER recommend taking your vehicle to Round Rock Collision. Such a scam. I will be also reporting to better business bureau and filing a complaint with the state's insurance department. read more

BEWARE.....carefully select your body shop! My brand new Genesis GV80 was neglected by this body shop and suffered water damages as a result. I brought it in for exterior hail damage repairs and they removed my windshield without having the replacement (which took 8 weeks) and didn't adequately protect the integrity of my interior. I'm devastated and want them to make this right! I never thought my new car would be permanently damaged! Shame on you....this all could have been avoided if you cared for my car! The damage to our BMW was minimal. There was a small scrape on the back panel. The original estimate at the Round Rock Collision Center was for $2000 (while our insurance company estimate was $1200) which both estimates included a $150 plastic replacement part. After Round Rock negotiated with our insurance company, our out of pocket for repair was $1200. Almost three business weeks later after dropping our vehicle off -- we finally were able to pick it up. This was after several phone calls asking for the status of the repair. The Round Rock Collision Center took a week to work with our insurance company, and another two weeks to complete the minimal repairs. As we only have one vehicle, we were renting a car the entire three weeks which added another $1000 to our out of pocket-costs. Will never use them again. read more

They were wonderful with my car after the hail storm. They provided me with a very reasonable estimate of how long the repairs would take. My car is a relatively new Lexus and they were able to negotiate with the insurance to cover all premium parts without any cost to me. The car looked brand new when I got it back. They were very upfront with the time frame they quoted me. Will be using them again! read more

I have a 2011 BMW 335i Sedan and like most owners of Beamers we are particular with our cars. I turned my car in due to a accident I had and the car was done in 4 business days. Nathan answered all my questions and served me well. Great dedication to customer service and quality of repairs at this location. I would highly recommend this location for all repairs if you want top notch OEM repairs. By the way, this location is certified by BMW for repairs and is the one in the few in central Texas certified by BMW Penske Group. The women at the front desk are pretty cool and friendly. My new BMW got swiped on the rear bumper and I wanted it to be brought back to factory condition (as it is brand new). Travis, my estimator and service advisor was knowledgable, friendly, and kept me informed as the repair progressed. Thanks Travis! The repair is p for perfect. Our new Lexus RX350 was involved in an accident two weeks after we purchased it. Was rear ended with significant damage to Bumper, Tailgate, muffler system, etc. Round Rock Collision Center was recommend by the service department at Lexus of Austin. Nathan Sanchez was our estimator and did an excellent job of keeping us informed and working with our insurance carrier, He kept us updated every couple of days and made sure we were informed how long the repairs would take. Completely underwhelmed by this shop. Before they had my business in hand, they were quick and attentive. After the repair was completed, we had a problem and the employee handling our car pretended he didn't receive our emails and refused to return phone calls. After multiple emails and phone calls, the general manager finally responded but wasn't very helpful in resolving the matter. My advice: Go somewhere else and take complete photos of your car before you leave it at any shop. read more

Missing two good 'Radar-brand" tires - that I specifically said I wanted these two tires left in my car so I can use as spares (since my car had no spare tire originally). Missing one undamaged hub-cap (that should have been replaced during the repair time spent at Round Rock Collision because the damaged hub-cap was originally located on the passenger-side front tire at the time of the collision (Dated: Thursday, September 24, 2015) and the same damaged hub-cap wasn't replaced but rather strangely moved to another location (to the drivers-side back tire). I have pictures of the damage done to the front drivers-side tire and hub-cap (if needed). Need to be compensated for the balance due of $272.15 that Enterprise had charged me at the time I returned their Rental car (Saturday, October 31, 2015) because the Round Rock Collision auto shop took longer then they promised. The damaged hub-cap was not replaced but rather moved from the front passenger tire side to the back drivers side. Immediately I had noticed the damaged hub-cap after seeing the damaged hub-cap still on my car, I told another employee that I would like to document the damaged hub-cap which didn't get replaced - since it was damaged at the time when the young gal backed out of her driveway (into the road) and hit my vehicle while I was driving on the road. Victoria said that I wouldn't need to come back inside the building to get the issue written down for documentation and simply stated I can trust her and that she would let Ken Wetta know about the damaged hub-cap when Ken gets back to work. Note: I personally had to drop-off the four new tires that I purchased since Round Rock Collision couldn't pick the tires up at the store that I bought them at. My car did NOT have any spare tire (when I dropped off my vehicle to get repaired) - so I informed Ken Wetta that I needed to keep my original two good tires (Radar brand) that were located on the driver's side of the vehicle and were not damaged during the collision incident. Please let me know when you or one of Round Rock Collision employees can come to my home to return: 1. My two good tires (Radar brand) that were originally on my vehicle, 2. Replace the damaged hub-cap that was on the driver's side of my car and was damaged during the collision. Since this all was clearly not my fault for the aboved-mentioned missing items (two tires and one hub-cap), I don't think I should have to make yet another commute to Round Rock Collision to pick-up these said three items. read more

I took my car to get repaired due to someone hitting my husband and I took it in on a Friday they were closed on the weekend and it hailed and 300 cars were ruined, they hadn't work on my car and my car was total so it sat there for a week they than were going to charge my insurance for a tear down?! I said what?! I was previously told when I was there, to look at the damages from the storm, that they didn't have time to look at it ( as I spoke with the receptionist over the phone) , later the foreman called me and disregarded the charges of the tear down when they realized that I knew the truth, this place is a typical mechanic savage location and they don't use integrity when it comes to the care of the customers vehicle. My son use to work at a collision center and they protected the customer's vehicles while at the shop to make sure that the customer was satisfied, now my car is gone and they want to charge storage fees and the use of plastic to cover the broken windows from the baseball size hail, they charges over 1,000 for basically having my now total damaged car to sit there for a week, while the insurance figured out a plan and they didn't release my car until the payment was received in full, the sad part of it all is that the foreman never mentioned to me that they would be accumulating storage fees after they lost my business due to the hail storm damages Along with the other customers . So many beautiful vehicles completely destroyed . read more

I have had two of my bmw's here for work, both times they didn't come close to matching the original paint. The first time, i brought in a bright red z4 to get the front bumper replaced. they painted the new bumper a strange orange/red. The second time was last year when my x3 came in. the side door came in from the factory with some paint damage and bmw of austin sent it here to get re-painted. i thought this would be a simple job as the color of the car is alpine white. how could they mess that up? well they did! they painted it an off-white that is really obviously different from the rest of the car in the sun. are they color blind? how hard can it be to paint a brand new car, one that has never been sitting on a lot, the correct color??? you can't match white??? read more

My first ever Yelp review! I brought my vehicle in for hail damage. I bought it brand new across the street at Round Rock Toyota. The lady said "nope we don't do any more hail damage" when I tried to ask more questions she was like "nope call your insurance" she asked who my insurance was I said State Farm she said "we aren't a preferred State Farm collision center" I get the hail damage in this area was overwhelming but how about a "I'm really sorry but we are full" or some sort of bedside manner. I've been a customer here for years. I've brought my last 3 cars here for any paint/body needs. I've had a similar experience as those who have already given negative reviews in relation to hail damage repair. I went to RRCC less than 24 hours after receiving hail damage. The lady at the counter just wrote my name down on a long list and said I would be called the next week. Over a month later that never happened. I called today and the girl told me they had a long list and that I would be called. I voiced my concern that I was never going to be called. She checked her list, and sure enough I wasn't on it. She told me that I could bring my car in for repairs, but it wouldn't be until the end of the year. It's currently May 2021. I told her I would just take my business elsewhere. read more
