I had the beauty exactly two weeks, with paper plates still intact. Driving to work on our glorious I35, I was rear ended by a company truck, thank the stars above had insurance. I wanted to puke. I attempted to contact a few body shops suggested by Subaru and they wanted nothing to do with the insurance the company truck carried. I began yelping collision shops. Several 5 star reviews appeared at Certified Auto Body. I took the plunge. They were 5 minutes from my house on Dessau road. Matthew was beyond amazing. We discussed the damage and I made my decision. That was March 29th. Matthew took me to get my rental and the journey. There were so many kinks in the process. The car was a 2024 and Subaru changed the tail lights. None were available and no ETA. I called weekly and god bless Kelly for putting up with me. I gather for several months Subaru HQ led us down the rabbit hole. Long story short short, I contacted Paul, the former service manager at Georgetown Subaru, and lo and behold with his help, Matthew was able to secure the tail light system and the final repairs began. I picked up the car yesterday, September 28th. Matthew told me it would look brand new, I prayed his idea and my idea of brand new were the same. OMG, I forgot what the car looked like in 6 months, but this car looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. I wanted to jump for joy and cry at the same time.
