There is a nice sidewalk path you follow from the street that leads down to the pavilion. There is a sand volleyball area and basketball court too. The smaller kids had a playground to play in. The bathrooms were not bad for a park. Two stalls, one sink and hand dryer. It had plenty of grass to set up an obstacle course and camp gladiator station. For those who like to walk, there is a half sand trail and half cement path to walk around. I see the pool area is getting some work done to it. Looks like the kiddos will have fun here once it's complete.

There are areas to play pickle ball, soccer, volleyball and even ice hockey. There's an arcade and adults-only bar indoors and several outdoor seating areas, both open and covered. The entire place is very well lit at nighttime. Toddlers and younger kids can enjoy at the playscape with slides. You can grab some food from one of the food trucks, drinks from the outdoor bar and have a great time hanging out. Some of the outdoor seats also have heaters or a firepit.

So insure the soles of your shoes are in good shape to prevent falls. I've walked here a couple of times now. Today it was a little chilly but nothing too bad. The last time it was warmer and the vegetation was much greener. The trail is about 1.5 miles long but back and forth you can get around 3 miles. At no time was my husband or I notified of an incident occurring at the facility or during art class. Rob McDonald and Whitney Seaton both employees of the Rec facility assumed I was aware of the situation solely based on speculation that my aunt who was caring for my daughter while I was away on business had been able to get a hold of me. The first time I heard from any party was when Rob McDonald called my cell phone to tell me the outcome or determination for my daughter's enrollment in the class. Rob called and stated my daughter could no longer attend art class at their facility. Rob and Whitney did not call us as parents to inform us of the incident or to tell us that you all would need to speak to all parties involved like my daughter or the other party BEFORE coming to a decision. They spoke to the other party ONLY and decided based on that one party. Due to the other party involved being Caucasian and us being minorities this does make the situation feel race related. It does cause my husband and I to feel like there are grounds for a civil suit for discrimination. Not only did you all reprimand my daughter, but you all allowed a white entitled father to also reprimand her. You all failed my daughter and did not keep her safe. Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Dept as a whole needs new procedures and policies in place to protect other children of color from discrimination like what my daughter was subjected to. You all are at fault for how this situation was handled. Young Rembrandts and the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation facility decided based on a "she said" scenario without communicating with all parties involved and doing an actual investigation. Our daughter was traumatized and terrified by the father that approached her. Rob and Whitney continue to word things like you aren't privy to what occurred at the facility entrance and framing things as if he approached my aunt and daughter. Please do not minimize or attempt to downplay what that father did. He walked up to my 8-year-old black daughter, and he said, "Did we have a problem today?" My then terrified 8-year-old responded to him and began to explain herself. This is a situation that no child should ever find themselves in. I will not stand for any injustices. I do not recommend this facility if you are a minority.

It's definitely an aging facility that doesn't boast the latest in exercise equipment, but we have those places around. Here's what I love: $2/hour child care, and it's GOOD -- people who seem to love kids are taking care of them. $1 walking track -- you can't beat that for a walking alternative when it's too hot, cold or rainy. Finally, great programming -- the swim lessons at Gilleland Creek, gymnastics for kids -- again, taught by kind, loving and knowledgable instructors. I really feel like this is a special gem that gives me the warm "pfuzzies" about Pflugerville! :)

There was a huge captivating star that was lighted with bright yellow lights, also the trees were all covered in numerous lights, which made the area so brilliant. The Baca center was very spacious with high ceilings, which gave it a even larger feel. They had nearby restrooms, which made the stay during the holiday party very efficient. With a Baca center was decorated by my sorority, it may be building even more aesthetically pleasing. This party was very enjoyable.

I don't want to upload pics due to children are present but please go check it out because you won't be disappointed. The main stage is nice and there is a pavilion for you to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere while reading a book or just taking a moment to chill. I always enjoy coming here to cycle or walk but really appreciate the playground upgrade for the children.

I absolutely love this trail. This trail is so extensive and pretty. This review is really for the…read moreportion of the trail in Round Rock that starts from AW Grimes and ends at Redbud Ln. I think it's important to download a map that outlines the whole trail. There are parts when you think it ends but it actually detours and continues. One of these parts is at Kenny Fort Blvd, the trail really goes an additional two miles east if you start at The Rabb House on AW Grimes. The doggo loves this trail and the shade it provides. There are some awesome benches to stop, rest and enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek. There are also plenty of poop bag stations and fountains along the way. I absolutely love these Round Rock trails and we visit often. Just be prepared for a crowd during the weekend.
