Stop here to get some pizza on feb 6, 2021 customer service was great but out of six employees only three women were wearing their mask. The two weighing vegetables and the pregnant one. Cashier guy had his mask on his back pocket of his pants and kept wiping his nose with his shirt. We go up to Angels Camp a couple of times a year and my daughters love pizza and are always bugging me to go here. We all know round table is expensive but good. This is the best pizza in Calaveras County. The staff is excellent, they are attentive, and will bend over backwards to make sure you get high quality service. The pizza crust is light and fluffy, the sauce is tangy, overall a great pie. The owners sometimes stop in to work and it brings a great energy to the place. Don't let Mikes fool you with the 'Local' bs, Round Table is super invested in our community and schools I see their ads everywhere I go. We got a craving for pizza while vacationing around this area and decided to try out Round Table which we had never tried and boy was it worth it. We had an all meat, a combination and Hawaiian pizzas. The sauce was fantastic and the pizzas were well done which made their dough even tastier. We also had the salad and hot wings and the salad was fresh and very tasty. We are not big salad fans but we ate the whole thing. Everyone was very helpful and nice as well. Worst Round Table I have ever been to!!! Very stingy on the buffet and when I asked for a vegetarian pizza, a pizza with only 2 toppings and 4 slices was brought out. I asked for more and the manager said, "Isn't that enough for you? !" I am a pizza fanatic from NY that moved to this small town. Round Table is a big chain store in Cali. You might come for the buffet, but I would rather go down the street to Mikes Pizza for quality over quantity. Pizza was bland, wings were not good. And I LOVE chicken wings. read more

Just placed an online order for pickup. I put in the comments that I wanted half cheese. Arrived to pickup pizza, when I called in to let them know I was there, he asked if I needed anything with order; I said ranch and plates. When pizza was brought out, I verified it was half cheese, as the last time I picked up order it was wrong. Well, it was wrong again. So I sat and waited for them to make a new pizza. He brought pizza out along with a bag I'm assuming it's my plates and ranch. I get home, no plates and ranch. I had peppers, cheese and napkins. I called with frustration and told Cody, which is whom I had been dealing with that I did not receive what I had asked for. He informed me that's what I asked for...I don't even use peppers, so why would I ask for peppers. On top of this the pizza was over cooked. I was never offered anything for the mess up. A very great location because of the very friendly staff. Kudos to the size of restaurant with games, plenty of sitting and tv's on the walls. Refill friendly. We should all be on the same page when I say "Round Tables has the best tasting pizza there is". There is no arguments there and that gains these restaurants high ratings. Normally a great place to get pizza however Saturday night Memorial Day weekend we ordered via phone, went to pick up and we were just hanging out talking to the staff and waiting patiently...as we noticed people getting their orders before us we asked what was up with our order...we had already paid and even had an order #...they said what order...by then we just had to go home tired from a long day of boating so I told them just to deliver it or credit my card for the $43. Nicest Round Table we've ever been to!!! We had a group of 11 including several small children and there was plenty of things to do and space to hang out. Food was great and manager let us order the lunch buffet a half hour early which was very appreciated as we were traveling a long distance. Restrooms were ridiculously clean also! This one is easy, Round Table in Angels Camp was hitting "Home Runs" the day we came for "all you can eat" special dinner deal. The adult counter help asked what kind of pizza we'd like, which was pepperoni (me) and combo (Shirley). Totally liked being asked what pizza we'd favor. So easy and so right. Salad bar was well-stocked with choice fresh veggies and made a cool start. Both pies arrived at the serving station, steamy hot, mere minutes later; with the perfect crust, ample ingredients, and excellent flavor. Perfect crust you say? I will leave brittle, burned or dry crusts behind. Not here. Polished 'em off right then. Three slices and I was done, no room either the Garlic/Parmesan or Cinnamon dough twists that were freshly up, too. Restrooms were clean, and the atmosphere very good. In the next booth, we had two brainiac high school senior-ish girl students, working the heck out of their homework. That was a great "tell" about this Round Table. Recommended. So: Chain? I have been going to various Round Table locations forever, and rarely do they disappoint. This location is no different! The staff was friendly, the seating area was big and spacious, the tables were not too close together, they had a few televisions and they were large enough to see from anywhere in the restaurant, and there was even a small arcade room separate from the dining area which was nice although I did not use it. When I came here it was for the all you can eat lunch buffet, and they did a good job of keeping the pizzas fresh as well as the bread sticks. There were about 3 different kinds of pizzas available (Pepperoni, Hawaiian and Combination if I remember correctly) and while I only had the Hawaiian, the rest of the group I came with said the other options were good as well. The lunch also comes with all you can eat salad and is really a great deal. The only drawback from Round Table is always the price, but for the all you can eat lunch deal, the price is an absolute steal! read more

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. My wife and I stopped for lunch during a drive through the foothills on January 2, 2017. We had the artisan flatbread with chicken and four vegetables: zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes and olives. It was really, really good. They also used some type of vinaigrette dressing (I think), which made it special. It was baked to perfection. And I have to say the cashier (who might have been one of the owners) was very friendly and made sure our order was exactly as we wanted. As a bonus, she gave us the senior discount, as we are both over 55. Our bill was $15.00, including tax. I will definitely return the next time we go through Angels Camp, California. read more

The service was terrible. I was accused of stealing and the girl who was working was very disrespectful and rude. My mom handed me a cup and said, "go get a drink". I went and got pepsi. The girl came over and explained that it was for water and I apologized. I was not trying to steal it at all. It was truly a misunderstanding. When I went up to pay for it a guy was there. She walked over to him right in front of me and said, "she tried to steal a drink". I explained to her what had happened and she called me a liar. We were also served a raw pizza. The dough was very slimy and wet. The crust was white. It was obvious when it came out that it wasn't cooked but they served it to us anyway. Overall I felt very uncomfortable and angry the whole time and when we told them our pizza was raw they did nothing. They basically said too bad. Also they put a drop of ranch in the cups and and shake it up to make it look like its full. Such a rip off!! read more
