Ordered side salad and crab cakes one night and fish and chips another. I was in Angels for a week for work. Enjoyed a few cold beers before bed. Food was delicious and the service was great each time. The locals were sure nice.

Bonnie the host. The sweetest lady ,& recommended the house Margarita **Amazing** Our waitress Meredith was on top of things, she met Chico & brought us more Margaritas that just kept getting better with every ZIP. My wife & I ordered & shared a second platter of wings***a party in your mouth with every . We said good bye to Meredith, TIPPED Her well, than comes Emily at the end providing me with water to stay hydrated, Chico fell in but it was time to leave. WE Sat on the patio on our way out I met sure to thank the Bartend we & TIPPED her and we are going back today again, this time at the Bar. Excellent ambiance, friendly service we & well made drinks, amazing food. Can not wait to try the Crab Cakes Keep up the excellent service & food & may your business remain prosperous.

We popped in for lunch after a round of golf for some food and drinks, and left satisfied and full. It was happy hour so of course we had to take advantage of some of the deals. We got the buffalo wings, which were crispy, and meaty. Chicken fell right off the bone, and with the spicy ranch, a very nice touch. They have a $9 burger on HH, just the burger, not a bad deal, the burger itself was tasty, but needed a sauce of some sort to elevate it, bc it lacked any distinct flavor, just an average burger. We also ordered a club sandwich, which come on a croissant. I was hesitant about the croissant but it actually ended up being really good. Good amount of deli meat, just overall a tasty sandwich. We sat at the bar and our server was super friendly and made sure we were good at all points of our visit. Overall, not a bad spot to grab a meal after the round, would eat her again for sure

Camps Restaurant While staying at WorldMark in Angels Camp, we were gifted a certificate for Camps Restaurant. The staff is friendly and very approachable. Our Fried Ravioli and Bread with Butter came to the table rather quickly. I truly liked the ravioli but I loved the bread. I am very much a carb lover as much as I am a steak lover. So a warm crusty bread and soft uber spreadable butter is one of life's greatest pleasures (yes, the bread is an $8 charge). However my enthusiasm couldn't continue throughout our meal. Although my Rib-eye Steak was cooked perfectly the way I like it, the vegetables on the side were very drab and overcooked. The spicy Brussels Sprouts had a good flavor. I wish they were slightly spicier, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. My wife's Sole Almandine was a tad under seasoned and her vegetables were as drab and overcooked as mine. A quick blanche then saute would have done wonders for the sole. In contrast, the mashed potatoes she ordered on the side were perfect. For dessert, we ordered the Creme Brûlée. This was the perfect way to end our meal here. The creme brûlée was creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness.

Ambiance- live music for New Year's Eve!

Amazing New Year's menu! Had a wonderful meal with family. Surf and Turf was a great value and the service was really good. They were packed and still managed to take care of us. I would recommend coming here anytime! Filet Mingon was cooked perfectly and the lobster was done perfectly! I will be back and I hope you have a chance to enjoy the food and service as well.

Then, came a long wait for a server to come. Once they did, after tables who had been seated after us, they offered us water that also took a long time. One of our servers was so kind, I didn't catch her name, but she brought our water and took our orders very efficiently, but was friendly. We ordered the fried cauliflower and alchemy burgers. Once the cauliflower came, our waiter told us that a cook had walked out mid-dinner rush had left them low on production. This didn't really explain the wait for service but we understood. I didn't get photos of the burgers when they came, because our table was pretty hungry after the long wait! The presentation of the food was ok but the food itself was pretty delicious. The fries were very flavorful and the burgers were cooked a perfect medium rare. We also got a butter pecan sundae that was very large, but good. If the food and that one waiter had not been so good, I would probably take more stars. If you are going to come here, I recommend having a lot of time and patience. 5 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. Knowing this, I would be tentative to come back if we got the same experience in terms of service.

The owners were born and raised in the Sonora area, and their undeniable passion for serving fantastic food to the local community - is evident. Both the owners and the staff genuinely care about cultivating a warm and accessible vibe at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. For their hibachi options you can choose from steak, to salmon, to chicken, to shrimp, to lobster, and more. All look (and I'm sure taste - as well) delicious. One particularly photogenic standout from their specialty sushi menu - was their Lobster King Roll, which is comprised of lobster tempura inside lobster salad and tobiko on top. Swoon. Possibly because it was close to closing time. We were actually running 10 minutes late and called to let them know. They told us there is a 30 minute grace period which is amazing, very helpful if something comes up to make you late. Our server was great. He was kind and conversational. I really enjoyed the bread and butter, it was very soft slices of bread like a personal loaf. It was yellow, possibly potato bread?? Not sure. But the butter had seasonings on it that I enjoyed. We ordered the wedge salad and surf and turf to share. Both were a perfect amount of food to share. The wedge comes with two iceberg lettuce pieces so it's actually perfect for two. It had thick bacon pieces, tomatoes, pickled onions, radish, cucumbers and blue cheese dressing. I loved it. Very fresh and the dressing was sweet. The surf and turf had a HUMONGOUS lobster tail and an 8 oz filet mignon. Seriously, I could barely even finish the lobster tail it was sooo big! It was very fresh, not fishy whatsoever, and came with a butter dish and lemon. It was the best lobster tail I've had in a long while. The filet was more rare than medium rare. But we ended up taking it to go because we were so full, so when I warmed it and ate it later it was perfectly medium rare to eat. Overall I loved my dinner at Henry's! It was a great experience.

Charles Street Dinner House, Mariposa: 2026 Mar 12 (4 of 5)…read more Let me start off by saying that we were extremely pleased with the service, thanks to Dillon (who showed genuine rapport), Tomben (his honest opinions) and Amya (who brought me piping hot water in a beautiful mug and teapot). Their friendly, yet professional attitude make this eatery stand out. (5 of 5) This eatery has a vintage feel and historical charm. We felt we could really relax and take our time instead of being rushed to order, eat, then leave. The atmosphere feels rustic, exposing the past. It was a time capsule for folks who enjoyed that era. FOOD: Sauteed Mushroom Soup: The soup arrived with garlic bread. The soup had an earthy, savoury and nutty texture. The rich, velvety mushrooms were bouncy and cooked well, while the umami-packed broth felt comforting. The garlic bread that accompanied the mushroom soup had a perfect balance of textures - heavily buttered, with savoury garlic flavour. The golden-brown, crispy exterior was not overly toasted and the sticks were enhanced with a touch of herbal flavour. (5 of 5) New Zealand Rack of Lamb: This was my order - cooked medium-rare. The perfectly cooked meat was tender - unfortunately lacked seasoning, but a dash of salt brought this to a perfect 5. (5 of 5) I had a choice of potatoes or rice pilaf and made a wrong decision. The rice pilaf looked like baby food, and the fresh red pepper over-powered the entire dish. I tried a small scoop and was disappointed. Needless to say, I couldn't eat another bite of the rice. (1 of 5) My vegetables were mostly cooked well. They had a bit of crunch and texture but not raw. My dinner came with Tomato Soup. The soup tasted nutty and lemony, with a slight heat - and has a good aftertaste. It was silky and smooth, rich, and velvety. (5 of 5) Scallone: Our other order came with onion soup. My dinner partner had the privilege of tasting one of the best scallone years ago and was hoping to bring back great memories of this special dish he loved. This marriage of blending ground abalone and scallops is a savoury dish formed into patties. It is then breaded and lightly pan-fried in butter. The texture is supposed to be tender yet firm. The temperature was perfect but the patty came out almost like a regular pancake. A chunk of fresh red pepper was also thrown in, perhaps for colour, but it overpowered the dish. The pilaf rice was also a no-no. When the server came and asked how we enjoyed the dishes, I had to be blunt and said, "I didn't like the rice". Our server apologized and immediately offered to remove the rice on both plates and asked if we'd like potatoes instead. My partner opted for the baked potato. (5 of 5) The onion soup that accompanied this order was also a fail. Overall, this dinner was a 2 of 5. We were there to celebrate my birthday, so for dessert, we got Coconut Crème Brulee. Even though it wasn't cooked evenly, the light flavour of the coconut did not take over the mild flavour of the crème brulee. A lovely ending to an interesting dinner... and the crème brulee was a birthday treat, on the house. (4 of 5) Would we return? I think we would. I'd like to try other items on the menu because we feel it our privilege to have met some of the nicest staff in an eatery.

I asked my favorite llm where I should stop by for prime rib going from Fresno to SF. It at first suggested I make a bee like for house of prime rib in sf, which I like but have been to many times. It then suggested house of beef and I'm so glad it did (cattleman's in Livermore was also a 3rd choice but I've been there several times too). Thankfully it was Fri eve and they had prime rib. I like mine rare and it was perfectly cooked, very marbled, huge, well seasoned and delicious. I pared it wth au jus and mashed with gravy. Then, what reminded me to write this review, was the tri tip from the meat counter and took to go. They were nice enough to pack it in ice for my 2 hour drive. I just cooked it on my grill in the rain and this is seriously one of the best tri tips I've ever grilled up. The meat tenderness/marbling/quality is on par with any prime grade/American wagyu I've bought and the seasoning is just super on point. Looking forward to smoking the baby back ribs I picked up as well in the next couple of days but I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Seems like other reviews had issue with service but the staff were exceptionally attentive when I was there. Seriously the only thing that wasn't top notch about my experience was the cocktails(mine was totally fine but I'm a bit spoiled when I'm in SF) but for my purposes passing through I just wanted the prime rib and meats to go to be delicious and house of beef certainly lived up to its name!

Salad and soup bar were excellent and everything tasted fresh. We loved the tomato soup, but didn't like the french onion dip soup. The bread was amazing, and even tasted great as reheated leftovers. The prime rib and ribeye steak were cooked perfectly to our order, but couldnt finish eating dud to being full from the unlimited bread, salad and soup bar. Garlic fries were amazing and crispy, even after reheated for leftovers. Only a few things I didn't like was when we went to get our soup and salad, they cleared the whole table. I was warming up the butter in my hands for the bread to spread on faster, but they took it away like trash when we went to grab our salad and soups. They resetted the paper towel rolls to the side of the table when we moved it to the center, and they almost took away my husband's alcoholic drink, and then realized we were still dining. The lighting was definitely way too dark. I could see elderly people slipping if there was were liquids or food filled on the floor. The space is interestingly very small for a steak restaurant, but they seem to make everything flow well. Definitely would come again, enjoy the soup and salad bar, and then maybe share a steak instead of ordering two.
