Ordered a large pizza with garlic twists, got charged 50 bucks for delivery. When the order arrived the driver forgot my twists. When I opened the pizza there was a slice missing from the pie. I called to complain and was told that "there isn't a slice missing its just the way the pizza is cut." Total bullshit excuse for customer service. read more

Today it happened. Something really weird or supernatural has to occur or I usally don't even mention it. And like Johnny Cash, I've been everywhere man. Coast 2 Coast (RIP Art) and dimensions in between. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die. WHOAH! Blade Runner flash back. But seriously, today's events qualify as one of those unusual milestones that beg to be shared, maybe even to die for. Today is about the lost art of customer service. From the moment I walked in for lunch at the McKinleyville Round Table I couldn't believe my bad luck. The place was packed and there was a yuge line. As I stood there grinding my teeth, sorry that I was ever born, the casheer with cute Princess Leia looking mini buns (Rebecca) made eye contact and smiled real big with EVERYONE in line, big or small, one at a time starting from her end and working her way to my end and everyone in between while waiting to be paid. She was so happy that she would even seem to dance in place a little while spreading her own brand of sarotonin. Turns out smiles are contagious and I forgot, just for a split second, how much it sucks to wait on line, packed like sardines in oil. And that ain't even the first time something really nice happened here: Last time I was here, manager Joseph Reeves hosted us and personally saw to it that my family and friends had perhaps the best birthday party ever. No lie. Everyone still talks about it. Thank you for the memories. So let it be known that by the power vested in ME, by ME, on this day in 2018, I hereby bequeath the lofty and well deserved title of BEST ROUND TABLE in this Galaxy to the McKinleyville store. I hate writing this because we've always been happy with pizzas from the Mac Round Table. Tonight was different. My husband ordered a Chicken Garlic Gourmet like we always do. We made the mistake of not checking the pizza before we drove home with it. What we received was a simple veggie pizza. My husband called back to talk to the manager to hopefully get a small credit towards our next pizza. This pizza was $32. and not what we ordered. (Unfortunately it was overcooked as well). Instead the man challenged my husband saying "I remember that pizza and I personally put the chicken on it". Well, there was no chicken. Maybe he did " personally put chicken" on a pizza but it was not OUR pizza. Very poor customer service. So disappointed read more

Never gets my order correct. It's constantly missing ingredients or not cooked properly - either burnt or chewy. Constantly just getting "oh we're so sorry" when I call to get what I paid for. I ordered the personal - three topping pizza on original crust. There were only six pieces of linguica, the olives were only on half the pizza. So. Ordered online for in store pickup. Took about twenty minutes to make, no biggie, pretty fast. Get there to pick up. This is when all goes to hell. I pick up my pizza (yay!) only to see it is not what I ordered. At all. The server at the counter informed me that I had "ordered the wrong pizza." I asked him to explain. Server says "Well, you placed an order online for this pizza, but what you really ordered was THIS pizza." So.....you just told me point blank to my face I ordered incorrectly? ONLINE?? Ohhhh! Wait. ACTUALLY, what happened was the guy at the podium input your order wrong, and no, we can't give you a refund because " this is a specialty pizza" and we can't do our jobs. Oh! And hey! Super expensive for super mediocre pizza...and on top of it, took them over 30'minutes to make a pan pizza with only cheese. Even after messing up there was no apology or any kind of reimbursement. Why say pizza is going to be ready in 20 minutes when it's not? Just say, it's not! Waited another 30 minutes which means they didn't even start the pizza when it was ordered. I ordered a pizza for take-out, so I can't speak to the service except that I had asked about a coupon that wasn't working with their online ordering system and the woman on the phone was willing to give me a discount. Pizza was fresh and our order was correct and ready in 20 min. Interior seemed fine to me, maybe a little dark, but there were a lot of tables, including a large one that you might be able to reserve. They often send out paper coupons, too! read more

I have a kid and know I can count on a Round Table to be decent quality food he will like while we are out and about, so I've been to quite a few of them in the last few years. This one is rather dark, little worn, but the staff is the best of any I've been to and I like that the soda machine is serve yourself - a lot of Round Tables charge you by the glass. This is also the first one that offers crayons and a coloring page as well as a a simple "decorate a foam penguin ornament with stickers" craft. Both were heaven sent as we stopped here on a 5 hour detour due to snow on I-5. Other than that it is standard Round Table fare. It is the smallest one I've been in, and has a gas fireplace in the middle of the room. It also has a a decent TV with sports playing on it. read more

Best pizza I've had in Humboldt County... the workers were so nice and friendly... we came in with a party of 14 for my Grandparents anniversary , Scott took our order, he was so patient as our party deciphered what we all wanted... the manager Joey came to our table and made sure we got our order right... they made our dining experience so nice on top of good food, we'll definitely come back to this round table again read more

Not worth it! Pizza is really cheap tasting, terrible customer service including the mangers! Spent $30 and regret it. I requested a refund on my chicken wings because the were raw, the manger guy came out and OK'd it but told me he would have to recharge my debit card and deduct the full amount in order to issue a refund. He told me in a 5 business days I'd receive my refund. A week went buy and I had still not seen it. Came back in and spoke again with the manger, he apologized and offered a free soda. I wouldn't accept a $2.50 soda as a peace offering for the $20 I was owed and told him I wanted a full cash refund. He would not issue it and told me "that's how it is deal with it". Never again will I spend my hard earned $ in this business again! read more

We ordered from here while on vacation in mckinleyville. The pizza was the same as every other round table, but the service was excellent! I typed a note on the order when i ordered online and they not only read it but they took excellent care of my order as well! After a day without power at our vacation rental, I took the family (five of us) out to find someplace warm and informal to have a hot meal. We stopped at the Round Table on Central Ave. in McKinleyville and I am so glad we did!!! The owner of the franchise was a delightful young man who, despite having a full house and plenty of distractions to deal with, took the time to ensure we got everything we needed for a relaxing meal. The pizzas were perfect, the house wine was marvelous (cabernet), and the environment was clean and very family friendly. Thanks, guys, and kudos on a job well done. Just ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a baked chicken sandwich online. the pizza looks just fine but the sandwich had only bacon and chicken and nothing else on it. It should have had cheese lettuce tomato onion etc. I was also supposed to receive 25 percent of my order if I placed it online.they were getting ready to closed so called me on the phone to make sure I got there within 10 minutes to pick up the order but didn't bother to confirm what I had ordered.I talked with a girl named Amanda several times on the phone and basically was told there was nothing she could do about it and I would have to speak to the manager. also when I talk to her on the phone when she called me she told me that she would take the 25 percent off of the order when we got there because it didn't do it online. I sent my son with money to pick it up and she didn't even bother to tell him that she couldn't take the 25 percent off and just over charged anyway. we will see if they make this right I highly doubt they will from the way she sounded on the phone tonight. she said there's probably nothing we can do anyway. now I know why I go to Papa Murphy's. read more
