Beautiful views, large and accommodating restaurant with a pretty large menu and even larger portions. I was shocked by the amount of food on my plate and it was also delicious. We had a lovely waitress who was attentive and checked in. This would be a great place for a larger group given the amount of space.

Edit: gave manager my contact info 2 weeks ago. This is a ploy used to make it seem like businesses care when in reality they don't. 100% will never go back Edit to add we both got sick last night. Hard no. I might go for cocktails but never food again! Still a 3. Waited for an iced tea and glass of wine 25 minutes. William is delightful but the restaurant is understaffed...again. Got drinks and cup of mediocre clam chowder. Tastes like a bland cream of celery soup. No carrots and few clams to be found. I had the 1/2 order of seafood pasta. It's huge but not very Good. It's an Alfredo sauce with garlic, a ton of garlic, too much garlic. Dried Fettuccine, not fresh. 3 shrimp. Maybe a tablespoon of crab (no claw, just shreds) and tons of bay scallops. The parmisean tuile was made ahead so it was cold and chewy. Just don't bother if youre going to do it like that. Partner had ribeye. Cooked right, tasty. He said 7 out of 10. Asparagus was overcooked. "Baked" potato was microwaved. Overall pretty horrible (other than William!)

The restaurant has wonderful ambience, and an excellent view. The service was top-notch! However, I can only give a three star rating because of the food. While the prices are really good, the pan seared snapper was over seasoned, advertise to be served with a wild rice, but was it actually a rice pilaf, and the green beans were mediocre at best. The T-bone steak was good. The calamari was very basic. However, given that the prices were more than fair the portions large the view is impeccable, I would absolutely come again, but with lower expectations.

Such a great place to choose for special nights. The food is great and the views are stunning. The service was prompt and courteous. We started with the beet salad, we got the full and split it. It was plenty big to share and bring some home. The flavor of the tangy balsamic with the sweet pecans and salty feta was fantastic. I got the pork loin, my wife the salmon. These servings were generous too and the flavor of each was just what each of us were looking for. The cheesy polenta with pork was amazing. I'm excited to have enough for lunch too. If you like a casino, enjoy your time there. If not, don't skip this place. This place has a side door and the restaurant ambiance includes a fireplace and a wall of windows. We come and go without going through the casino. No smokiness for us.

Accidental find!! Come hungry and ready to eat. Clam chowder, I don't know if you could find it better in Boston! Great coconut shrimp. But the steak was perfect. Seasoned correctly, cooked a perfect medium rare with a lite char, damn good eating. Service with a smile. Waiter did a great job, bartender made the perfect Manhattan the way I like it. Beautiful view. It's called sunset for a reason. Come and enjoy a great dinner with an amazing view.

Was recently out at the casino for a function, and was looking for some food so I opted to sit at the bar in the restaurant and grab a burger and a beer. The bar in the restaurant is a full bar, with four taps of local breweries and only a couple bottle options, same for the wine a limited selection. Mixed well drinks and call alcohol seem to be the drivers for this bar. The bartender was friendly and professional, she also made sure to check on me regularly as well as everyone else sitting at the bar. The food is where it went downhill. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries, it could have been great but the burger was seriously pressed and over cooked, and as such very dry, as well the bacon way over cooked. Even adding ketchup and mustard didn't help the burger, and at $16 bucks disappointing. The french fries were good, plentiful and the only saving grace of the meal. Average food that is expensive for what you get, over $20 bucks for a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a draft beer, $25 with a tip. Great friendly staff and service, mediocre food. 3 Stars - it served its purpose for that moment but wouldn't go out of my way to do it again. 00607

(Warning to straight white men) This place presents itself…read moreas inclusive, but I've personally heard complaints from two other straight white men who felt stigmatized here. What I experienced was the most humiliating nightlife situation I've ever dealt with, and it's something I'm still affected by when I go out in this small community. I had been going to The Goat on and off for about a year prior with no issues. No other establishment has ever had a problem with me. I'm sober and respectful. One night I was talking to a woman when a very drunk guy came up to me and asked, "Are you spiking drinks tonight?" I honestly thought he was joking and said, "No... what the hell?" To this day I do not know whether this guy was jealous because he wanted to talk to her, or if he genuinely believed something had happened to someone he knows. Either way, he had the wrong guy. He came back even more intoxicated and wanted to fight me. He was with a large friend group and was clearly the most drunk among them. I went to the bartender (Toss) and told him a guy was making serious accusations I did something I didn't do and was trying to fight me, and asked for help. What I didn't expect was a guilty-until-proven-innocent response. I wasn't asked questions or given any chance to explain. I was told there had been "several reports" that night and I was asked to leave, even though the other guy was the one threatening violence. I followed up with ownership/management over the phone the next couple of days. They told me there was no evidence of anything, that I wasn't banned, and to ignore the people involved and just enjoy my nights as long as I wasn't creating issues. I did exactly that. However, The Goat is a very clicky LGBTQ community, and after that night I was clearly socially targeted. Toss would follow me around whenever I showed up. On Sunday, the only unusual thing I did was leave the crowded karaoke room early and later take a nap in my car because I was exhausted from working earlier that day. I didn't even feel safe driving at that point. Then on Tuesday, I showed up and was told I could not come back due to another "cluster of complaints," including something about me being on my phone, which made no sense. I asked them to check the cameras because I didn't do anything wrong. Later that same Tuesday night, I saw Toss at Everett's, intoxicated, telling the owner I should be 86'd, citing these vague "incidents." I was just playing pool. I have no way to defend myself against false claims like this. No one ever complained about me before that first incident. I've spent years in Chico's bar scene with a solid reputation. False accusations are incredibly damaging. I would never spike drinks and wouldn't even know how. I don't think they realize this is bullying and harmful. I did nothing wrong, yet standing up for myself has gotten me nowhere.

Our server was very pleasant and let us know the special of the day, a halibut dish with a creamy pepper sauce. Debating between that and another dish, we asked her recommendation and she suggested the fish. So we did it. My wife and I traditionally split meals at restaurants, because they generally give you so much food, you leave uncomfortably stuffed. We prefer leaving comfortably satisfied. So we split the Arugula Salad. They bring complementary bread with a garlic butter or basalmic and olive oil. We preferred the basalmic. The garlic butter wasn't very garlicky. But the salad was excellent. They split it for us for a small upcharge. The Halibut was excellent. We had to split it ourselves, but that was not a problem for us. It was served over couscous and was excellent. A bit small to split, so we added a cheesecake dessert with ganache. Very good. We paired it all with a Cabernet from the Oakville area of Napa (where we had just visited) and it was excellent as well. Our server was attentive. The pacing of our meal was very well done. Not too long between check-ins, but also not rushed. We recommend!

I found this restauraunt on Yelp and we reserved it for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We sat by the window and had a beautiful view of the sunset and bay. Upon being seated we were served some bread with some whipped butter mixed with some sort of seafood I believed? I forgot, but the butter was delicious. Our first round of bread however, was average at best and was very dense and doughy. The next rounds of bread were significantly better though, so maybe there's an inconsistency with the way they bake their bread in-house. I ordered the seafood penne pasta and my boyfriend ordered the king salmon with risotto. Both were "specials" and were not on the menu. However after digging into reviews here, it seems they are not so much specials since both dishes have been served here for the past 7ish years. Seafood penne pasta: I would rate a 3/5, maybe a 2.5/5. The pasta itself was not al dente which was disappointing. The "star" of this dish was supposed to be the scallop, which was severely undercooked! It was super soft and mushy. The shrimp was alright...some were overcooked. The salmon was also dry. I think the only thing I really enjoyed was the mussels, clams, and the sauce. The sauce had some curry with a small kick to it. This dish was just okay. Escargot: We ordered as our appetizer, I'd give it a 3.5/5! The escargot was a little soft but paired wonderfully with the bread. Creme brûlée: 3/5. Our waitress kindly put a birthday candle on it for my birthday. :) I enjoyed it, and it was very custardy! The downside was that the sugar on top was too burnt. I can't speak much for my boyfriend's dish, I did have a bite of his salmon and it was alright, maybe a bit too salty. The service however was wonderful and our waitress was super kind and helpful. Maybe I would come back to try another dish if I'm back in the area.

Located in the quaint coastal town of Trinidad, the restaurant is in a beautiful spot with ocean views just a two-minute walk away. The food was absolutely top-notch, and everything came out fresh and flavorful: * Chicken Burger: This came on a ciabatta bread along with coleslaw and the most amazing aioli sauce. It was incredibly juicy, warm, and flavorful. * Clam Chowder & Local Beet Salad: Both of these dishes were outstanding. The clam chowder was rich and comforting. The Local Beet Salad features organic seasonal greens, organic beets, local goat cheese, sunflower seeds, a balsamic reduction, and a citrus vinaigrette--it was top-notch and incredibly fresh. * Kids' Chicken Nuggets: My son got this from the kids' menu, which comes with a side of ranch and a generous portion of crispy fries that he really enjoyed. * Cajun Alfredo Pasta: My daughter ordered the rice pasta version of this dish, which features a creamy Cajun spiced sauce and garden herbs, making it a wonderful, flavorful gluten-free pasta option. * Blackberry Cobbler & Chocolate Ice Cream: For dessert, we shared the cobbler made with Marion blackberries and a sweet cinnamon crumble topping. It was served warm with vanilla bean ice cream melting on top and tasted absolutely amazing. My son also got the chocolate ice cream and he loved it. * Vanilla Latte: We also grabbed a vanilla latte, which was perfectly crafted, smooth, and delicious.
