Ordered two sets of the family meal - ready on time and clean ... the lady behind the counter was so sweet great service !

I think buffets are best enjoyed by someone like me. There's not a food I dislike (though I don't eat a lot of meat or sweet). But I pretty much try one of everything when I'm at a buffet. It can take several trips up for food. :D Somehow, only a couple days after my husband told me about the terrible pizza selection at this RT buffet, it was where he chose to take me for lunch. Since he buys the pizza buffet without salad option, he had neglected to tell me about the amazing salad bar. Totally fresh veggies and a good selection. Plus, they give you a large salad bowl for easy filling and eating. After a big salad, I moved to pizza. There was a chicken mushroom with white sauce, a full meat, and something else meaty. Both baskets of garlic twists and cinnamon twists were empty and stayed this way all 40 minutes we were there (didn't we pay for that too?) I asked for a veggie pizza and one was brought out shortly after. That was great except it was white sauce too. I'm more of a red person, but had one slice. All of a sudden several other pizza were brought out. A combination, a BBQ, another chick/mushroom, and something else. Since there were NOT a lot of new customers (or any at all), I found this odd. MAYBE they had read the yelp reviews complaining about selection? Sadly, we were full at this point. (Smaller slices, please!) Or MAYBE it was because two friends of one of the employees had been sitting next to the salad bar, watching each pizza come out. They had ordered a personal pizza (1) and when they got their box they loaded it up with buffet pizza. I understand the perks you get when a friend works somewhere like this. I'm fine with hooking your friends up with free pizza. But it should be a different pizza altogether. Hand it over in the back. Because some patrons are paying for the variety on the buffet bar and it's not fair to them if non-paying customers are sharing in the delicious, limited slices. Overall, good food. Perhaps slightly poor employee management. I'd go back if I ever visit husband at work again. read more

It's ok. Actually easier to deal with than the Washington Blvd location. Hit or miss on if pizza is made right and same goes with the order taking employee and counter person at the register. Usually best to phone it in and pick up. The parking lot is easy to get in /out of so that's a plus. Always strange people hanging out near it when we frequent it. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery. One pizza was burnt and had the wrong crust. I called to request a new pizza or refund and was told that I needed to bring the pizza to the store. This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. It was delivered to me burnt and now I have to take it to the restaurant? I wasnt allowed to speak to the manager and was told I could call back tomorrow or that I would get a discount next time. Food is good, service was fast, but beware of shady operators on the premises and don't turn your back on anything valuable for even a minute. I had a very bad experience today. Ate my lunch, took a little too long and rushed out as I was late for a phone conference call. Got to my car and realized I didn't have my phone. Walked back in, and my table that wasn't cleared when I walked out no more than a minute earlier had been cleared - but no phone. I asked at the counter, and although no one was sitting near me, the employee said a man with a child had come from that area after I left. I suppose it's possible in that minute he got up and walked over, grabbed my phone and left without passing me as I came back in - but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Apparently there aren't any security cameras either to help identify who stole my phone. I was in town for business and thought I'd treat myself to lunch in between client meetings, but instead, that "treat" turned into me spending the entire afternoon getting a new phone and trying to restore my data. Of course that is entirely my fault for forgetting my phone in the first place, but at the same time, you'd like to think you could make a mistake inside a restaurant like this and it would still be there 1-2 minutes later. Lesson learned and I'll treat myself next time somewhere else. Hoping posting this review, as well as the police report I filed, helps someone else not repeat my mistake. read more

This place is tucked away in the busy shopping square that has a bunch of restaurants and an Asian supermarket. Parking can be difficult, especially during lunch time. Carpooling is highly recommended. My friend and I came here for their lunch buffet. It was around 12:30pm and the place was not that crowded. The restaurant was spacious with plenty of tables for dining in. One bad thing was almost half the tables were occupied by dirty dishes with no one in sight to clear the tables. Now on to the food. The buffet came with AYCE pizza and salad with a soda. The pasta was separate. Salad bar had pretty good selections and was fairly stocked. They seemed to be stingy with having pizzas out though. There were 3 choices with only like 2 or 3 pieces left on each plate. As I grabbed the last slice from one of the trays, a staff brought another fresh pan of pizza out. It seemed like they only want to keep 3 pans out at a time, even if they were on the verge of being empty. This is why I knocked off one star! It's a buffet, for goodness sake! I shouldn't have to feel like I gotta beat out others to get some pizzas. Stop being stingy!! Overall, Food was good, nothing to write home about. Worst service. I order chicken bacon Alfredo pasta with no bacon. After 15 mins the order shows up and they put bacon in it. And when I say it's bacon, they say it's roasted cheese, but the lady who took my order says she added bacon. The guy still says it's roasted cheese. I Just put the food in trash and walked away. I came in here while waiting for my wheel alignment. I haven't had round table in a long time and now I know why!! For first time I got the buffet and I can honestly say I was not impressed!!! The salad bar was a small selection of items and the pizzas were horrible when they actually put some out!! There was about 15 people and only two pizzas out and then two more eventually came out that looked like they dumped all their old toppings on them!! I've been coming here for many years, always for lunch. The pizza is always good. the service however sucks. You used to be able to get the buffet without a salad, now, no more. weather you want it or not your paying for it. Now the main problem. Tuesday night special 5pm-10pm 50% off any size pizza. This place is located on doolittle, in Marina Faire. We ordered an extra large garlic chicken pizza for only $13! Called our order in as we were getting on the bridge to come home from work, got there and then waited 15 minutes in line before we got our pizza. The service is super super super slow here. They need more workers or registers or something. There were like 4 other customers in front of us, it does not take that long to take down an order and get payment. Will NEVER eat here again. Just went in for the lunch buffet made a salad and went to get some pizza. Another older gentleman who was eating his lunch asked me to come back over to the pizza and pointed out a bug (roach) crawling on the counter in between the pizza and the soda machine just inches from the pizza warmer. I immediately told the cashier. He and the other lady working promptly brushed it onto the floor and killed it. I asked for the manager and was told that he was not there. Pizza's fine. Service here is terrible. They deliver for an astronomical charge, so they bribe you to come in and get it for a discount. But then you wait endlessly for someone to help you. The salad bar was kind of gross, too. Won't be doing this again any time soon, if ever. read more

They never have pan crust cause it actually takes effort to make. My order has been wrong 3 different times. Round Table Pizza is one of the best chain restaurant pizza places. I've only been to this location for lunch since I work in the area. Always get the all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and salad bar. Great deal for $6.99 and with a drink it's under $10. The pizza is standard RTP style and they usually serve up 4-5 different style pizzas at the buffet. Depending on the day, there's either a plethora of pizza or you're fighting over what's on the buffet with everyone else in the restaurant. Salad bar is always good and plenty of toppings. Knowing what you're up against, it's still worth the visit. read more

Slowest delivery EVER! Arrived about a half hour later than quoted. I placed my order at 11:40 and was told it would arrive by 1:15, which gives more than ample time to make it and deliver it. I received it closer to 1:45 and the delivery receipt said the order time was 1:08. What's up with that? The driver was also mute and didn't apologize for being so late. The Cinnamon twists were dry, hard, and had no icing drizzle or dip like the website said. The "mild" wings were insanely hot. So hot that they were inedible. I spent $48 on a large one topping pizza, wings, and twists. I could have gotten larger portions and better food literally anywhere else. I'll never order from here again! read more

I would give this a negative number if I could. I placed an order on December 10 for delivery at 8:30pm. At 8:50 I called the location only to be told they were closing early and I could pick up my order. They could not deliver because they had no drivers!! Yet, they charged me for the food. I still have not been refunded my money. The manager FINALLY called me back after 4-5 calls to the location. Still no refund!! This place is a joke. They lied and said I didn't order a pan crust but I had ordered several times from them the same kind each time for the same price I paid today. I've been going to Round Table restaurants in California for more than 30 years and this was the first Round Table that had a bad (actually terrible!) pizza!!! I live out of state now and look forward to going to have my Round Table pizza each time I'm in California. If I could give it negative 5 stars I would. Why? Here's why: The small pizza I ordered (and always have) was a King Arthur Supreme with everything on it including shrimp and anchovies. The problem ws that whoever cooked it either put the anchovies on after it finished cooking, or more likely did not cook long enough because the anchovies were not cooked, the mushrooms were barely warm and the pork and pepperoncini was either just barely warm or room temperature (ugh!). This experience will not make me not return and eat my beloved pizza, but never again at this location... BEWARE! read more

I order from this round table quite often as it's a mile and a half from my dads place. The orders are always right, the pizza is always fresh and It usually only an HR to get my order. Ordered from Round Table today at this location on Fairway. I placed the order online at 11:54 a.m. Arrival time was supposed to be at 12:54 p.m.. At 1:05 p.m., I called Round Table who told me the driver left 15 minutes ago (12:50 p.m.). I live no more than 10 minutes by car from this restaurant. This is my 2nd bad experience here so I thought I'd write a review. I placed an order online was told to pick up at 7:35. I arrive at 7:45, I pay and the lady asked me to have a seat for 5 min. At 8pm the cook come out and asked if I was waiting for an order I tell him my order and he gives the cashier a look like WTF. he Gos to the back and gives me my order.
