I like that you can load up on whatever toppings or extras you want without feeling limited. One thing people shouldn't overlook here is the salads. If I'm trying to eat a little healthier, I'll get one instead of pizza, and they pack them really well. Honestly, the regular size is already enough for two people to share. This location is the closest one to my house, and overall it's solid. The only downside is that it can be pretty hit or miss with wait times, especially for online orders. Maybe like 3 other customers ahead of us and it took almost 30 minutes just to order with 3 employees working. There were 2 employees at the front end that were supposed to take orders / prep the pizza and ring customers up (not sure how each individual's exact job tasks, but there were 2 employees doing that at the time) and 1 employee off to the side cooking the pizzas. After a few moments, 1 of the employees just disappeared for awhile after helping just 1 customer and the line did not move at all, as she left the other guy by himself, which I do not blame him, as he was doing his best by himself. Our first time trying Mod Pizza after my deep tissue massage appointment. You can customize up to 40 items on your pizza. Gosh, so many choices, let me see. Had to look @ the list to carefully determine what the taste buds wanted. After consideration, I opted for thin bottom crust, mushrooms, black olives, and pepperoini. If you're after pizza and convenience, Mod Pizza is the place to go. That's exactly what we were aiming for a couple of nights ago. With the weather being rather warm, cooking dinner seemed less appealing, so we decided to grab some food from Mod Pizza instead. It seemed we weren't the only ones with this idea, as there was a pretty long line waiting to order. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed for the size of the crowd they had that day. By the time we reached the front of the line, many of the toppings were almost gone. Despite the larger than usual crowd, the time it took to get out food didn't change. We decided to eat at the restaurant, which was okay. Our food was good and as expected for quick personal pizzas. Our only complaint was the amount of trash and dirty dishes piling up near the soda station, likely due to the lack of staff. COVID-19 Review: My go-to pizza place. They are open during the pandemic and doing a great job, thank you for staying open MOD! I've been to this location before the pandemic and they weren't the fastest but the employees have always been friendly. During this pandemic, they offer takeout, delivery, and curbside pick up. I had a couple of concerns when I placed my curbside pick up that were immediately squashed. I was afraid they were going to skimp on the toppings but nope, my pizza was piled high with ingredients. Just the way I like it. I was afraid that the curbside pick up would be difficult because I've done it at other stores and it wasn't always the best experience. I pulled up right in front of MOD and while I getting ready to dial their number, one of the employees was already standing by my passenger side window with my pizza! It was a smooth and seamless experience. There are a lot of pizza shops popping up like this, create your own pizzas/unlimited toppings but MOD is my favorite of the bunch. The online ordering process is pretty user friendly and the pizza was hot and fresh. Keep it up MOD! I am baffled by the level of unprofessionalism by the staff here. The first time I dined here (mid November), a female employee was on her phone behind the register while another one was annoyingly loud and having a full blown conversation . I've never seen a restaurant employee walk around having open conversations with their staff with zero regard to customers overhearing it. It resembled some sort of high school party. Today, I phone ordered my pizza prior to arriving. I walk in and head to the register. Four employees doing nothing had not greeted me or asked me if I needed help. One was on his phone. Finally a girl walked over and took my payment. After my pizza finally finished baking, my name was called and the female employee told me she can ring me up.
