We were here before closing time, not after, and had security standing right behind us staring at us the entire time, and he would not give me his name either, because he probably knew he was being a creep. I really wanted to like Round 1, but this arcade has many flaws, so probably do not plan to give them a "Round 2" unless we have to attend a party or event being helped at the venue. Let's start by explaining how to get to the arcade. It is located where Nordstrom used to be. Currently, you are not able to access the arcade from the mall. You will have to go through Target and walk out to the parking lot/garage and then walk down the narrow stairs to the arcade entrance. Once you enter, it can be overwhelming. If there was an emergency, the only exit which does not seem safe. We purchased two cards and noted that they will charge you a $2.00 fee for a new card plus whatever amount you want to add. The card is cheap and flimsy compared to other arcades we've been to. It does not seem sturdy card or something you want to keep. We paid a total of $144 for two cards with that "fee." The claw games/machines are not even worth it. The small claw prize machines are 9 credits for each play. The claw on the machines are horrible. The small prizes are not even heavy or weigh a lot, but once the claw picks up the toy, you think you have a good chance to win. No! The claw releases the toy back down by doing a little gentle jolt, which causes the mini plushy to fall. So you try again, and the same thing happens. The middle/large prize machines require 14 credits for each play. What I noticed is that the claw is loose and can hardly clamp the plushy. Sometimes, the claw will pick up a plushy, but the weight of the plushy will back down and drop. After trying two times, not worth it. Staff working the floor: After I swiped my card, one of the claw machines was stuck in one position. I asked one of the employees to assist since she was restocking some prizes for a machine instead of helping me. She told me to go to the desk. The gal at the customer service/cashier desk was very nice and helpful, but that was all. The arcade is probably better and worth going to, but don't even bother with the claw games. I've been to many claw machine arcades in Reno and Vegas. I always walk out winning, but in this place, you will be lucky if you walk away with two small ones for the price of four to five regular-size plushies at the shops in the mall. Dude was on a power trip and followed us on the way out as we weren't able to finish our billiards game. Food service is terrible. I've ordered twice and both times equally bad service. First time I used the kiosk to order a drink and ice cream. I wait 20 mins and I see nobody fulfilling kiosk orders. But the cashier on the other hand is handling all their customers, with drinks and ice cream. I see a staff member fiddling with the utensil dispenser and they finished. For next 10 mins I just see this person randomly walking around to look busy. So I asked is anyone fulfilling kiosk orders? Oh what did you order? So I tell the person drinks and ice cream. The reply was oh wait in that line. I'm like why do you have a kiosk if I have to wait in the line for the cashier? So for the next 5 mins I see the same person randomly walking around trying to look busy. Finally they decided to give me cups (soda is self service) and scoop my ice cream. So almost 30 min wait to get a empty cup for soda and 3 single scoops of ice cream. Second time my kid wanted to try the shaker fries. So ordered at the cashier this time. Then bumped into my cousin so talked for like 10 mins or so. Then another 15 mins pass and I don't see anyone getting food. Finally I hear an ordered being called for pickup, 20 numbers to go for my order. So I'm watching the kitchen and I see 3 or 4 staff, however 1 person works 1 station (example ramen station, that's all they do). They all work to complete one order before working on the next, might sound good right. Wrong, if no ramen ordered they don't do anything. So after 20 mins, I'm like why does it take so long when staff are standing around doing nothing. So I stopped someone in button down shirt, maybe a manager and I'm like why does it take over 20 mins for 1 order of fries and you have kitchen staff doing nothing? Basically I was told it's next and still had to wait another 10 mins. Obviously nobody has worked food service before and management of the food is terrible. They closed the upper exit/entrance which was annoying and we had to go to the parking lot then into target to go back to the mall. Was very disappointed with pretty much our entire experience at Round One... We decided to get something to eat before bowling and oh my goodness the food was HORRENDOUS and ridiculously overpriced. Think day old elementary school cafeteria foo that they got from the trash and decided to serve it again. You're better off grabbing a bite to eat in the mall beforehand. Much better quality and so much cheaper. Bowling was fine, but hey it's bowling... can't really mess that up right? The worst part of bowling here is the price. I love Round 1 but not after Emilio the worker. We ordered 3 pizzas and he came out with 1. We kindly tell him that we ordered 3 and he grabs the pizza to fix his mistake. He comes out with only 2 pizzas and when asked about the 3rd, he starts to give a lot of attitude and implies that we took the 1st one. I opened yelp for the first time because I want to let EVERYBODY know how the services of Round 1. Me and my co workers went there to check the venue. Venue is good, lots of things to do, especially the bowling and the karaoke bar they included, as we, oldies like to do. The service? It's SUCKS!!!!! No available pizza and wings when we ordered. We waited for our turn to use the karaoke room and the counter told us that the "MANAGER" was the one who booked the room for the "FRIENDS" and there was no limit on when they will be finished. At first, the staff told us that that we are next to use the room, we waited for our turn (approx. 2 hours). Then, we were told that the room will be available at 10pm. SERIOUSLY????!!!! 2nd time, we went again 3/22/2925, my co worker enlisted for 2 hours on the karaoke room (3:45pm), staff told us that the room will be available at 5pm, 5:15, the room is not available still, they said it will be available 5:35pm. My co worker went back and forth at the counter several times. FINALLY, we went in the room approximately 6pm. In the meantime, my other co worker also got a reservation for the karaoke room too, but, when it's her turn, the staff told her that the reservation was given to a different person. Need more friendly staff. I was having problem paying on the kiosk and going to pay at the counter. The staff are just passing by and look at me like im an invisible. Until i have get their attention. After 30 minutes of a bunch of teenagers acting incompetent, I was giving a refund. If you're not able to serve food don't be open. The games were fun yet expensive avoid the claw at ALL COST complete scam and an easy cash grab. Updating my review with the Karaoke experience today. I used room #2 and clearly the audio setup is breaking apart. The second microphone when active was causing a lot of noise and interference affecting the first microphone. I have asked the counter staff to replace a microphone and it was still not fixable. So I guess you cannot really party there with more than one voice. read more

Terrible customer service the asian girl manager didn't bother helping instead she wanted to hide and run away. The workers here dress in clown outfits and are good at being clowns. If I could give a negative number I would, I came here for my birthday and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. We were told to put our name on the waiting list for bowling since there was a large party that reserved the lanes in the morning. We arrived at noon and put our names down as a "walk in" and was told we could bowl at 5pm, we decided to play pool for 2 hours to kill sometime. About an hour after we got a bit hungry, so I waited in line to order food. Only to get to the front of the line and was told they are not taking any orders at the moment to accommodate their larger parties.... I asked when they will be accepting orders, the response was in an hour. I asked if they allowed food from the mall in the facility and was told NO they do not allow outside food or beverages. This was unacceptable! After I left the food area a young lady approached me and said, I spoke to my supervisor and you are allowed to bring in food from the mall only for the hour we are not taking orders. We left to bring back food. We wrapped up our pool table time and decided to play some video games, that was fine. My brother wanted additional food and went back to the food line and was told they were still not taking orders (over an hour & a half passed since the first food request by this time) Truly disappointing, we then decided to check how far we are on the waiting list at 4:40pm again we waited in a long line as we approached the front the man recognized my daughter when and looked for her ticket. Then asked us if we received a text, which we did not. He stated the could not find our ticket and that means they called us and we were a no show..... I asked why they would give up our lanes if we were here before the allotted time (5pm) he apologized and asked if we wanted to be put back on the waiting list and wait for another hour and a half for a lane. (A young lady next to him said it's probably a service issue with their phone, we already gave up their lane) At this point I was livid and did not want to wait any longer, I already wasted my entire day at this place! The staff wasn't friendly and definitely not accommodating. We left and took our business to Classic Bowl where we got much better service! We will not be returning to round one nor will I ever recommend such a poorly ran establishment. read more
