Tables need to be bussed, there was a spilled drink that took over an hour to clean (no, they weren't too busy), the toilets won't flush, the bathroom sinks leak, they had 0 clean forks, and they refused to fix the Coke dispenser (they only change syrup at night). I had an awful experience here just a few minutes ago. I got my. hair done next door at headmasters and was waiting on my husband to pick me up like I have done many times in the past and went to rounders to order a pizza and a beer until my husband got there. I went to the register and ordered the pizza and a beer. The young lady jumped back and said" I'm not old enough " A young man came out and demanded my Id I explained my husband and i had just been on a trip and he had my id because of airport stuff. I like the atmosphere and the food at this place BUT they need to work on getting the orders out at the same time. If your family orders different items instead of getting one big pizza, everyone will eat at different times because they don't see the necessity in placing one table's order in the oven at the same time. Pepperoni Pizza for my nephew and a large thin crust Italian sausage for my mother and myself. Best pizza in town. It was our first time trying Rounder's pizza. We walked in, ordered a pepperoni deluxe, and sat down. This was at 1:51 PM, after the main lunch rush, and it was Sunday, so it was not too busy. We waited, and waited... People who came in after us and ordered more already got their food. Around 2:15, an employee came and apologized to us for the wait, told us it would be 5 minutes, and asked if we wanted soup or salad. She didn't say it would be on the house for the wait, so we kindly refused. It was not until 2:28 PM we received our pizza. We admit - it was delicious. I recommend it. I would love to see this location on a game night. Right now it's super slow and it's a goof atmosphere. Our food was fantastic. Minor hiccups such as not having plates to divide the pizza (and the staff not understanding why we wanted plates?) and one of my buffalo wings was actually half a wing and full of bone chips (ouch). Wing sauce was a little thin, but great. The blue cheese was top notch chunky and creamy. Sandwich was good. The bread was super dry, but still good. Pizza was fantastic. The pepperoni rolls are great. Wings are okay. The service is terrible. (Or has been for us). Every time we have ordered they (usually the same girl who works the front counter) have been rude over the phone and rude when we came into the store. Does not really pay attention to what she is doing, had to drive back for part of my order on one occasion and only avoided it by checking myself a second time. Phone rang endlessly when we tried to call in an order. Then got put on hold for 10 minutes, then on a third attempt they picked up the phone and hung up. If you're like me, you get sick of eating the main 3 pizza places. (Pizza Hut, papa johns, dominos) they really aren't that good. Bruno's is good but gets expensive and their locations are inconvenient. Double Dave's sucks. Little Caesars is not great but cheap. But this place is awesome. Fair prices, great pizza, chill environment, good location, and pizza by the slice from 11-2. The Hornet is my favorite to eat here. The first bite of the hornet which the employees call "the stinger" can set your mouth on fire but gets less spicy after every bite. So good. The ranch sticks are just cheese bread sticks, just FYI. I think you get a free Rounders koozie when you get a beer. read more

Horrible experience today. Waited almost ONE HOUR for one pizza and pepperoni rolls. We were told they had messed up our order so it would be 7 more minutes. (No one came and told us our wait would be longer- bad customer service) We waited.. and NOTHING. we went to ask again and were told it would be 7 more minutes! We decided to get a refund at the end. I went to check out this new pizza restaurant this week. I was disappointing in both the taste and the price value for their food. Compared to Kens buffet you can get all you can eat salad and pizza for $21 dollars for two people. At Rounders you pay $21 dollars for just the pizza and drink. Kens gives me Pizza,salad, and dessert. The Rounders hand tossed pizza crust does not taste as good as Kens hand tossed. It is a matter of taste and value to me!!! read more

When I got the restaurant to pick it up, I waited at the counter for several minutes for employees that were standing at the front, too involved in their personal conversation to help a customer. Then, the guy that did help me just swiped my card and handed me my pizza as he continued on with his conversation with the other female employee. We (my wife and 3 kids) arrived hungry and ready to eat good pizza, ordered the Hornet for us adults and a simple pepperoni pizza for the children. They hand us our cups, I pay the money, and we take our seats. And then we wait patiently. The time begins a little after 7pm. After awhile, the waitress brings the Hornet out and sets it down but no word on the kids pepperoni. We continue to wait, it would be wrong for the parents to eat in front of their hungry kids. To abate their restlessness and looking back for food, they pick off Pepperoni's. Who delivers a half order?? Still waiting. Waitress walks by and I ask about the kids pizza. She tells me it'll be out of the oven soon. At that point I'm visibly frustrated, and I ask for a to go box for the uneaten Hornet, and for the pepperoni to be placed in a box too. Now I'm standing at the counter because there is still no medium pepperoni pizza being handed to me. The staff ask if they can help me, a different one each time, STILL NO PIZZA! Eventually, their "shift leader" walks out and after a little back and forth, he investigates & discovers the pepperoni JUST went into the oven.. And after a quick apology, let's me know it'll be another 15 minutes. I ask for a refund and he does so, including taking the Hornet from me and placing on the shelf. So not only did I not get the 2nd pizza I ordered, they completely wasted my time, returning us back to zero with even hungrier kids. We left and went to Sonic because of the hurry to get the kiddos to bed at that point. So yea.. 1 star (because it requires something for the review) for your completely horrible customer service and inept ability to process an order. rounders is the only pizza i will eat in tyler!! love love love - great ingredients and always a good ratio of toppings to cheese and crust! i normally get it doordashed or i call ahead and pick up at a specific time. today i called at 4:30, orders a pizza, cinnamon sticks & a salad... i asked for it to be done at 7pm. i got to rounders around 7:15, traffic + 2 wrecks on my route. my food still wasn't ready & then i had to wait for 20 more minutes. some of the ladies at the front were super kind and smiling, while the others were... not kind or smiling. i will continue coming here for how great the food is - but service & timeliness could use a little help :) read more

Great pizza at a bit too high of cost. I've tried Rounders twice and the pizza is the best i've had in tyler. That beings said, I think the prices do need to come down just a bit. Paying $30 for 2 small pizzas, 1 small order of cheesesticks, and 2 medium drinks is tad on the expensive side. The good: Excellent house made crust. Decent sauce Crispy pepperoni well seasoned sausage and chicken The Hornet! ( Finally a spicy pizza that is well thought out!) The Cheese is actual cheese and pretty awesome combinations The bad: The price: ( should be $6 for small, $12 for medium, $15 for large, $18 for extra large). Drinks should be $1.50 to encourage people to dine in and possibly purchase more. Sauce is a bit too sweet, ( works well on the hornet though) Overall, excellent food, but more than I'm willing to pay for pizza thats not fire or coal grilled. ( at least on a regular basis) I understand they can't compete with the chains due to the freshness of ingredients but its hard to make an impulse purchase for a large with a side, or several smalls to try out different flavors.
