Peanut butter Oreo twister is where it's at. Birthday cake twister is my second fav. Also can't go wrong with a vanilla cone with sprinkles, just like the signage. Kone King is classic. A tad expensive but worth it for the occasional summer treat. There is no seating but you can eat in the trunk of your car or outside. A west seneca staple. read more

5/5 all around for the taste and the serving sizes! I stopped in because I saw they advertised a key lime pie dole whip and had to try it. It was delicious but HUGE. Bring a friend if you want to try this because it was almost too big for one person. The taste was amazing though and I really like the lime flavor dole whips. read more

I grew up down the road from here and have always had great service and quality. This past fall I brought an out of town guest and she too enjoyed it! Today I picked up a preordered ice cream cake for my Mom's social distanced Birthday. While the parade of friends and family made her day, this cake was a close second! I ordered and paid ahead of time. The smallest size was perfect for the two of us to enjoy a piece together and for her to enjoy a couple more times. I am very impressed that they are keeping their hours noon to 10 every day. I will be back and will be sure to check the "flavor forecast" because I LOVE the blueberry soft serve! read more

Kone King is a once in a great while place for me. The reason is, I would go there everyday. Their ice cream is out of this world. My favorite is the black raspberry, on a waffle cone. I could eat one every day. If you've never been there, look at the signs above the windows. One is for placing your orders, the other for pick up. Great system. They have a great selection of treats. They have things you can purchase to take home as well. We got 2 chipwiches, that we split because they are so big! Their parking lot is pretty small, so keep in mind parking can be tight, and also it's near the road, so you need to be careful where u stand to place/pick up your order. Who doesn't love ice cream and a good time! Kone King off center road offers both of those things. The staff is wonderful and the ice cream is custard base. Seems scary but it's actually pretty tasty! Downside is that there is no place to sit. If you're lucky enough to live in the neighborhoods you can just walk home! Do yourself a favor get a twister. I usually get the cookie jar, or the M&M mixed with Oreos. It's awesome! read more

We love Kone King as well as supporting local. If you're new here, know that it's pick up window only. The only thing I wish Kone King had are a few picnic tables for folks to sit and eat quick. Normally we eat in the car or on the curb. It's a busy parking lot so you have to keep your little ones close. Tonight we ordered two "Twisters." A medium Mint Oreo and a kid sized Heath. It came to 10$ The ice cream was very flavorful and you get a lot for your buck. I highly recommend coming here on a hot sunny day read more

They can't spell Kone, but they can certainly serve them. Plenty of soft serve stands all over WNY, and some of them (Hibbard's, Green Acres) are spectacular. Others are just good, and this one is in the "good" category although they have noticeably cheap prices and their service is okay too. Massive crowds here on sunny days, an extremely popular little stand with the locals. Some of my good friends come here regularly, so I'm sure I'll be back and will try more flavours, but the regulars like vanilla and chocolate are good, and speaking of vanilla, we should hang out this weekend. Kone King is a charming neighborhood ice cream shop. I have been coming since I was little. They have only soft serve ice cream. Also, Twisters with many candy options, delicious lemon ice, banana splits and several sundaes to choose from. Kone King also makes ice cream cakes. I would absolutely order a cake from here before buying at the store. They are perfect! Also on the menu is a low fat option of Wow Cow Ice Cream. The Wow Cow flavor changes daily. There is also Flavors of the day for the regular ice cream. On Mother's Day, Kone King offers a free cone to all the mothers. They also have specials for the opening day. It opens March 1st and closes Sept 30. Wether it be 90 degrees or 50 and rainy, the people of West Seneca will wait outside in line for their favorite ice cream at Kone King. Some of the employees are the same every season. They're all very friendly and upbeat. It's nice to see the same faces year after year! This is probably my favorite ice cream place in buffalo, mg girls love it and I second loving it! After a long hard sports games my little ones do, we always come to Kone King to get there favorite! They act as if they have arrived in Walt Disney World, I love how king the workers are! But, I got sprinkles on the side in a cup, I have to pay 5 bucks for them.! They should be free. read more

Kone King has been loved by its West Seneca people for many years. They have delicious custard and offer many ways to enjoy it, whether it be a cone, sundae, banana split, twister, milk shake, or peanut parfait. They also make ice cream cakes. They even have low fat Wow Cow options. The flavor of the day changes and today I saw pumpkin on the sign along with pistachio. I opted for a peanut butter hot fudge sundae today and it was so good. Like many other ice cream stands in the area, the ice cream here is very good and seems to ramp up in taste as the weather heats up. A nice selection of soft and hard ice cream along with sundaes and other specialties. Good news: there is a decent number of parking spaces. Bad news: there are no seats, so you to stand around your car or somewhere the building provides shade. It is anot a fatal flaw, but there are other ice cream stands nearby that offer seating and also have good ice cream. This is a good place to stop so long as you are forewarned. read more

I have heard such great things about this place, but when my family and I went, I was extremely disappointed. The ice cream was good, nothing to complain about there-although it would be nice if they offered an option for hard ice cream, but my biggest complaint is NO TABLES! On a beautiful spring or summer day, you are forced to eat in your car or sit on the ground. There are so many options around for ice cream, that for that reason alone, I would choose to go somewhere else so that I could sit and enjoy my ice cream outside with my family. read more

Somehow, I have never made it Kone King, but I stopped down after a trip to the post office. They have a good selection of items and prices seem pretty decent/in-line with other placed. I like their different custard flavors (though I went with Vanilla/Chocolate twist) and that they have a "Flavor Calendar" on their website. Mine was refreshing and tasty. Service was friendly and quick, though I would request taking money before giving me my cone as I then had to balance it and my wallet precariously to get cash out. No picnic tables, but ample, easy parking. If there were some tables, this might be a beneficial place for a food truck to partner with. read more

Came for a soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. The young girl behind the window wiped the side of my cone with a rag that was laying on the counter. Yuck. Then I realized why. There was something wrong with the ice cream. It was not as cold as it should have been. It was dripping like milk all over the cone. It was 68 degrees outside yet my 'ice cream' was in a puddle all over their driveway within 2 minutes. See ya at Green Acres next time. read more

Nowhere to sit here so I usually have to clean out my trunk first because my daughter does not like to eat iced cream standing up (don't ask) and she will spill it all over the car seat. I have to clean out the trunk so I can open the rear gate and let her sit there instead. It ends up feeling like a "drive in" movie. Used to live down the street. Kone King - the staple of West Seneca High School's for ice cream. Truly a staple in the city. You can't miss it as you drive by with the giant ice cream cone holding up the building. Ice Cream, Soft Serve and Frozen Yogurt. This place is a gem & worth the wait. Last time I was there they still made the Kone King version of a "blizzard" with nerds candy! It's the hang out for all of West Seneca so don't be surprized if you run into someone you know. Opening day is heavily celebrated each March 1, when the King of all Ice Cream Kones offers a free cone to all! They do have a "baby" size which is perfect for a small snack. West Seneca roll down your windows, blare the Kiss 98.5, or Star 102 and pay homage to the King! read more

It is more than nostalgia - I really enjoy this place and countdown the days til it reopens after winter break. I grew up on this ice cream! No credit cards, so bring cash. Most likely, you will stand in line. No tables or chairs - just grab the ice cream to go or sit at your car and eat it. It is all part of the experience. The building is an old one on Main Street, decorated in the Roycroft style and font: Minimalist and decorative. The line for ice cream moved quickly: The women behind the counter worked hard to fill orders, and most people knew what they wanted. We chose scoops of chocolate "Bada bing Bada bourbon" in a cup, and two scoops of gelato in a waffle cone. The portions were enormous! I've never seen an ice cream so large! The total was about $15 for four scoops, and a small upcharge for the waffle cone. This is great value! The flavors were so good we were already making plans to return by the time we left. A word about the layout: There are chair on the front lawn; the front porch and inside have tables and chairs. A single unisex bathroom serves everyone; in summer there can be a line. Most of the people there at that hour were young families; the strollers and prams parked near the stairs. Is there anything cuter than seeing a toddler enjoying an ice cream?

A nice place, but probably won't be coming back unless I happen to pass by since it's not worth making the trip and risking not liking the flavors.

Thanks to a dear friend, a fellow Yelp Elite, I've FINALLY had the opportunity to try some pints, and holy smokes, Living the Cream is phenomenal! I tried two flavors: Oreo Brownie Smash and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella. Oreo Brownie Smash is Oreo cookie ice cream with brownie batter swirls, Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, and half-baked brownies and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella is spiced eggnog ice cream infused with Jim Beam and Platter's dark orange chocolate stracciatella. Just. WOW! Absolutely no complaints, each was bursting with flavor and packed with so many mix-ins. I loved finding huge Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough chunks and just how chocolatey Oreo Brownie Smash was thanks to all the brownie bits swirled in. The Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella had the creamy, comforting flavor of eggnog with a nice nip of Jim Beam that let you know it was there but never overpowering. The crunchy bits of the dark orange chocolate stracciatella cut through all the creaminess, only elevating the ice cream overall. Opening both pints, I was super impressed how jam-packed they were - It took a bit of effort to get the lids off, the pint was on the cusp of overflowing! So I didn't order these pints so I can't give you the most accurate pricing info, but after trying a couple flavors, I'm happy to order a few pints myself without thinking too much about the cost. I'm really glad Living the Cream is out here, churning up amazing ice cream flavors for Buffalo! As a few other Yelp reviews mention, make a little room in your freezer and treat yo'self to a couple pints of some of the creamiest, mix-in full ice cream you'll ever have!

The fries were nicely seasoned and paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating and lots of TVs, including some absolutely massive screens, making it a great place to catch other games while enjoying a beer. My partner loved the bagel. We both enjoyed our afternoon coffee. The space is beautiful and cozy, it would be the perfect place to come and read or knock out some work. They have completely non-plastic to go cups which are unique looking and we loved the extra effort they put into sustainability. They have bags of their used coffee grounds for free if you need to add to your compost pile or whatever needs you might have. 10/10, will be back!
