Ted's was the only place that had one on hand. I do want to give kudos to Criterium as they told me to call Ted's, and even gave me their number. Perhaps bicycle stores are the last bastion of honest competition. I got to Ted's the next afternoon and what a friendly place. They had a large family purchasing a couple of bikes for some small children so it was a bit hectic, yet they took it all in stride and found me my wheel and I was on my way. I did ask about a map of the area and was promised they would call when they got their resupply. BTW, the wheel was super reasonably priced and Ted made sure I understood the reason for the tighter than normal axle cones. Ted's is now my go-to bike shop!

I noticed this bike shop in the same shopping center as my gym (Kineo Fit) but hadn't needed their…read moreservices until now. My bike dropped the chain while I was out riding yesterday so I called to see if they could take a look. They said to bring it in. We did and were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Cord remembered me from the call and dropped what he was working on to take a look at my bike. He gave it a thorough inspection and discovered a bent something or other near the rear derailleur. He was able to bend it back without too much trouble. He used a special tool to ensure it was straight. Then he checked my chain and showed me that it was due to be replaced. He pulled one from the shelf and replaced the old one. Then he took it off the rack and rode it around to test the work - discovering it needed just another minor tweak. Oh, and washed it too (no charge). We walked out about 30 minutes later with a clean, cleanly shifting bike for a very reasonable price ($60). Check them out - lots of bikes on consignment and new stuff too. Super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely go back.

We researched all the other groups and these guys had the best prices, best kept bikes (especially the maintenance, you want your brakes to be top notch) and absolutely the best attitude. The location is right at the base of Pikes Peak, so it couldn't be any more convenient for coming and going, and there is a restaurant next door for lunch. So how do you follow up on such a great experience? Get one for my dearly beloved - that's how! I called Phil, talked to him about her fitment issues and sent me not one, but two saddles for her to try - telling me to just send the one back she didn't like. Are you kidding? Nobody trusts people like that anymore - but Phil does! She couldn't be more happy with her saddle. I was so happy with his service and attention to detail I even bought a jersey of his to pimp on my rides. And I never pay to pimp other companies products (within reason). Seriously - you want a comfortable saddle and top notch customer service, get a Koobi and end your search. It's that good.

After taking no ownership for the frame damage and incorrect cassette assembly, they then incorrectly concluded my thru axle was cracked when it was simply an intentional gap in the washer so the back thru axle nests correctly. I found this all out after going to a professional shop down the street. If you need some simple work done, or some skis waxed, they could probably help. Anything more, and I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

This off-roading experience out near the Pikes Peak Forest was absolutely amazing! The staff was…read moresuper friendly from start to finish, and our driver, Skylar, was awesome--knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole ride even better. We rode in a six-seater UTV and had some of the best views I've ever seen, including incredible sights of Pikes Peak. Being out there really puts things into perspective. It was sad to see parts of the forest still recovering from a human-caused fire that happened years ago, but it also made the experience more meaningful to witness the resilience of nature firsthand. I had an amazing time--truly one of those experiences you don't forget. I would 100% do this again. Next time, though, I'd probably book it in the summer because it was pretty cold and my feet were frozen . Totally worth it, though! Highly recommend if you're looking for adventure, great views, and a fun crew.
