That brings me to Pizzicato - and man, was I lucky! Late afternoon on a Sunday, after a day of traveling, and stuck at a hotel without a functioning restaurant . . . delivery pizza was just what the doctor ordered. And what a treat! I ordered a small pep, breadsticks (wondering why were they SOOOO freaking expensive, more on that below) and a small salad, and I have to say both the portions and quality below me out of the water. As a foodie and pizza guy (born in the Midwest, with deep Chicago and Detroit roots) this place HIT THE SPOT! Seattle pizza scene could learn a few things from these guys. The pep had a delightfully crisp yet tenacious and chewy crust, with a solid feel. No flop, and just enough heft to hold the great, bright and sassy tomato sauce and perfectly spicy large pepperonis. Just enough cheese and parmesan too, making this a nice Neapolitan pie, but with a nice Sicilian flare. It was a huge surprise to find a nice complex pie on an Uber eats SWAG order (scientific wild A$$ guess) The salad, I chose the apple, arugula, walnut, pear, and gorgonzola cheese small size, was easily dinner plate size when out of the box. All the ingredients super fresh, and easily worth twice what I paid. But then again, being from Seattle, I am used to our obscene prices up here, so maybe this is what the rest of the world normally gets for $10.00! But the star (unexpectedly) were the breadsticks. When I ordered them, I couldn't figure out why I had to pay $8.00 for three small breadsticks, but really wanted some, and so jammed the "add" button in my cart. But when I opened the box in my room, all my questions were answered. The breadsticks (let's call them what they are - giant delicious mozzarella stuffed loaves of flaky garlicky buttery crust love) were so unexpectedly good, I didn't know what to so with myself. Each breadstick was hefty, with a delicious flaky buttery crust wrapped around a not too salty, not too stringy, just right center of dense, warm and delicious mozzarella. The existed somewhere between portable stuffed crust and a fast track admission to a cardiac unit. 3 of these bad boys for $8? Really? Can I order these by the gross next time? In the end, I have never been more happy to stumble across a new pizza place in my life and can't wait to visit for real next time, and see what else they can pull off!

We ordered pizza slices, a salad, breadsticks and drinks at the counter when we entered, then chose a table to wait for our food. All items we ordered needed to be warmed and the salad mixed. When about 20 minutes went by we asked about our order. We were told it should be next. Another 5-10 minutes went by when one of the servers noticed we were still waiting and checked on our order. That's when they realized it was never given to the kitchen. There was a mistake made at ordering and it wasn't submitted correctly. Initially they tried to tell me that my card didn't go through and would need to be rerun. When I explained that I paid with cash they apologized several times for the mistake and rushed to get our order done. The staff was friendly once they got the mistake figured out but at that point I was ready to leave after waiting for approx. 40 minutes. Once our order was ready we decided to just take the extra time to have a small plate of each item and take the rest with us. The breadsticks were disappointing. Not much flavor at all unless they're covered in ranch. The pizza was just ok, not warmed nearly enough. My husband had his favorite, the salad with lots of the garlic dressings. Overall it wasn't a very good meal. The prices are on the high end of the pizza place spectrum and this visit didn't meet high end quality. My one saving grace was they had my favorite soda machine with flavor choices for each soda. Having one of those machines gets an extra star from me. This was probably just an off day, and mistakes happen. I doubt this is a regular occurrence but I don't plan on spending another lunch break here. They are located in a strip mall and have plenty of nearby parking. It appears clean and wiped down in the dining area. There's several tables in the large dining room. The food quality is always strong, they did not disappoint today. The portion size of the salads is more than ample, its a huge portion with a very consistent salad dressing. The Pizza slices are really good sized. They typically have plenty of seating, with a clean building and tables. The only disappointing part of my trip was the person working the counter, he was less than friendly and customer oriented, not sure if he was having a bad day or what but typically the staff is super friendly. He will not keep from coming back in but its disappointing as a customer to be treated like you are a bother.

Surprisingly, we got a text after ten minutes that our order was ready. Since we were close by, we went to get our food. The staff told us they needed 2 more minutes and then our food would be ready. Got our food and took it home to eat. The food: Samosas - we were expecting two large samosas, but this came in three smaller portions. Instead of a thicker cracker like exterior, these were more like a fried spring roll wrapper. These were served with a healthy amount of mint chutney. I thought these were fantastic and would have ordered more had I known how snackable they were. Butter chicken pizza - a good sized pizza with a ton of toppings. The pizza slices weren't cut that well, so we had to reslice it. When we picked up a slice to eat, the pizza flopped and half the cheese and toppings fell off. The flavor was good but I didn't think it was anything like butter chicken. Might pass for tandoori chicken. This pizza needed a couple more minutes in the oven to firm up the crust and the toppings (barely melted cheese). I feel like this order was rushed due to our early arrival and their automated messaging system. I ate a few slices reheated in the toaster oven and it actually tasted better as leftovers than the day of - better crust and had some bubbly cheese instead of barely melted cheese. Recommend the samosas and would be willing to try the pizza again. It could have been a rushed order, but it could partly be due to take-home pizza not being as good.

Since it was delivery I can't really speak to the service or the vibes, but I'm sure we'll dine-in one day, considering how much we enjoyed the food delivered. My wife and I both got the butter chicken pizza and I was surprised as to how well the flavors transferred. I suppose there is some sense to it since you typically have butter chicken with something like naan? So this is sort of like a different take on "bread" with "curry". My only note is that the pizza tasted a little sweeter than I would expect for a butter chicken and we weren't given any options for spice level which would've been nice. It can also be a lot of the same flavor, but realistically it is a butter chicken pizza so there's not much to be added here.

It was nicely seasoned and not greasy. The lobster ravioli was tasty though the cream sauce was a little on the heavy side. We took the ravioli and focaccia back to our hotel. Service was friendly and our food arrived quickly. Restaurant wasn't crowded and we were seated right away. I just moved to Hillsboro for grad school and look forward to returning!

It is family owned & operated by both of his parents, as well as he & his brother as serving/bartending. The customer service was so sincere & upbeat, we'll definitely be dining here again.
