I used Fuzzy Friends back in 2024 for a week of travelling, and also to care for my animals during the time that I could not due to recovering from a broken leg. They were phenomenal, but that is hardly the case now. They use an app called Time to Pet, and back in 2024 I received extensive pictures and very positive communication about my animals and their conditions each day. Even when I was recovering from my broken leg and they found me asleep when they came to service my pets they took pictures and left great detail on their work. That is why when I needed to travel this year, there was no question that I would use them again! I hired Fuzzy Friends to come in and care for my cats and Guinea Pigs from 4/29 to 5/4 (2026.) On 4/29 all I received on their app at 4:59pm was a message, "Your animals have received food and water." No pictures, no detail. I was busy with the business of my trip, and so I thought nothing of the message. The next day, I received a voicemail message at about noon from Fuzzy Friends asking me to call them at my earliest convenience and expressing no urgency. When I called them back, the owner immediately started screaming at me telling me that my house was filthy and had the stench of ammonia, and that her pet sitter got sick after being in my house, and that I would be responsible for her medical bills. I was threatened and told that I had one hour to get someone to my house to get the keys from them or they would call Albuquerque Animal Control and have my animals removed from my house. I immediately called another person that I know that is a very professional pet sitter, and asked her to please go to my house and get my keys and take over this job. She immediately drove from the east side of town to my house and had to wait there while Fuzzy Friends showed up. They only gave her one key to my house at first, she had to ask for the second key. She immediately went into my house and this is what she discovered: It did not look like any service had been done for my animals since I left on Tuesday evening. The food and water were low but at least they were not empty. Also, she questioned why Fuzzy Friends did not mention to me in their app message on Wednesday evening or in their voicemail to me on Thursday afternoon that any problems had occurred instead of all Hell breaking loose on Thursday afternoon. If they had caught the problem earlier there would have been one less day of the house being closed up with the smell of Ammonia! Why else would it have been so strong by the time that they finally went to care for my pets?? I had been using an ammonia-based stain remover on my rugs just before leaving on my trip. Although it was effective on another rug in my den, in my living room the smell was very strong, probably because the house had been closed up since I left Tuesday evening. Luckly, it was the cleaner, and I found that my cats did not actually pee on the rug. The smell certainly was not pleasant, but not to the point that she would describe it as a "stench." My replacement pet sitter told me that as a pet sitter for over 20 years, that sometimes you encounter a problem with something while your customers are gone and you have to deal with it. That is why they hire you. She aired out my house for me and it was clear in a little over an hour. She brought Feliway to my house, folded up the rug so that it could dry, and even offered to drag my rug outside, which I told her was too much for her to do. My rug is being cleaned and deodorized by a carpet cleaner just to make sure that the ammonia smell is gone. Fuzzy Friends refused to refund my money. Despite the fact that my replacement pet sitter had to wait about 15 minutes for Fuzzy friends to show up to get the keys to my house, Fuzzy Friends called Albuquerque Animal Control anyway to report that I had "violated an ordinance." I cooperated with the Animal Control officer that came out to search my house, and I was told by the officer that I have not violated any ordinances. Dealing with these people was a nightmare...They are abusive and they should not be in the pet sitting business...Don't make the same mistake I did by hiring them!

There was dog feces On the ground. No newspapers were picked up from the driveway about 6 papers I had bring in. There was fermenting urine in a corner of the house. Poop was left in the trash inside which I know my mother asked not to have happened. We also saw on multiple cameras the dogs not being let out for 12 hour stretches at a time. I would be very wary of hiring this service.

I was very clear in my intake form that I have a reactive 8 lb Jack Russell terrier who needed a daily walk while I was on vacation. I spoke with Yaroz answered clarifying questions about my dog's behavioral issues. During this conversation Yaroz could have easily declined if the company was not comfortable with a reactive. I paid for and scheduled a meet and greet. Two Weeks later I got another message from Yaroz asking to schedule and pay for a meet and greet. I politely reminded her that this had already been done, but it was if she didn't recall speaking to me at all even though we had previous conversations on the same text thread she used. Not a great start but I understand people make mistakes. When the meet and greet came, two dog walkers showed up at my door. They were both very polite but one was very young and openly admitted. She had never walked a dog before. This made me incredibly nervous. I took the dog walkers to where my dog should be walked. 3 mi away from my house. Literally a 1-minute drive on Google maps. After the meeting agreed I returned home and went back to work (I work from home). I started receiving back-to-back calls from Yaroz. She called me four times in under 5 minutes. This is incredibly unprofessional. If someone doesn't answer the phone, there's a reason. When I called her back she was very upset talking quickly in an elevated tone. She told me that I never told her I had a reactive dog or that my dog needed to be walked in a special place that required driving. I tried to explain that the driving was required because there are no sidewalks in my neighborhood in the South valley and I do not want my dog walked in the summer over hot asphalt. Yaroz continue to talk over me. When I asked what the point of her call was, she went on to say that the meet and greet had taken too long and she would more money. At that point I told her that I was not comfortable with moving forward with her service. She continued to try and explain her point of view. I ended the call by saying I was no longer comfortable using the service. This company wasted 2 months of my time and $35. Complete lack of professionalism and customer service skills. The two dog walkers that showed up at my home were delightful even though one was inexperienced. Yaroz needs to learn how to organize her calendar and talk to customers. Please don't waste your time with this company.

We board our dogs, multiple nights, several times a year. The last three visits turned out to be a different story. The first time one of dogs came back with several bites on the face including an eye that required a Vet visit. They blamed it on our dogs sleeping together. Our dogs have always slept together and never an incident. The next time they lost part of the food we took for out dogs to have. The dogs were fed an incomplete meal three of the seven days. We take great joy in watching our dogs on the Webcam but one camera has been out for months and it happens to be the one where they spend most of the time. This last time we arrived to pick our dogs up late in the day, because we had bought multiple nights it would be charged and we had no problem with that - we just wanted to have the dogs home with us. We were told we needed to pay a day boarding rate. The manager was completely non workable on the issue and I requested to talk to the owner. The manager informed us we would not be able to have our dogs cared by them. We finally were allowed to take dogs and informed us the owner would contact us. She did call the next day to inform us that she would take the extra day fee from our prepayment and return the balance of funds on hold. She also informed us that we were no longer welcome.
