There was no greeting or professionalism -- I was simply handed paperwork while they continued scrolling on Instagram or TikTok. I requested a combination Thai massage, but the technique felt extremely inexperienced. The therapist attempted back-walking for less than a minute before switching to rubbing heavily fragranced oil all over my body with little to no technique or pressure control. The entire massage felt rushed and careless. To make matters worse, the therapist kept her cell phone in her pocket the entire session, and it constantly vibrated while she was working on me. It was distracting and came across as very unprofessional. It honestly felt like she did not want to be there. The oil was so heavily fragranced that my skin became itchy afterward and felt irritated for hours. Because of how uncomfortable the experience was, I ended the massage after only 15 minutes. When I went to leave, instead of apologizing or asking what went wrong, the front desk staff started yelling across the business about how long I had been in the room so they could determine whether to charge me. Thankfully I was not charged, but the overall experience was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and disappointing.
