They're the perfect side for soups, chicken, or beef dishes. We used to shop at the larger Korean markets in Chino, but this place is more affordable and always has what we need. They have a variety of products including frozen food items, snacks, pantry items, etc. My friend introduced me to Jin Chamgireum, which is a very high-quality, locally pressed, toasted sesame oil. This shop sells it, which spares you from having to drive to downtown LA to find it. The ladies who work there are nice and helpful. Definitely will continue stopping in for goodies.

I had a feeling they may no longer carry this peanut brand in the future. Not sure why though... Auntie Lui's is a good brand. Anyway, other than our peanut run, we normally don't shop here. It's like one of those... let's check and see if they carry the item kinda thing. My parents used to shop here back in the 1980's and 1990's so they have been around. It's an older supermarket... they could get a facelift on the place. Give them a try when you're in the Montclair or Pomona area. The staff were not friendly at all, especially a young male employee who appeared to be around his mid-20s. He was extremely rude and disrespectful toward my family, which made the visit very uncomfortable. The store also did not appear to be well maintained. The place looked dirty, and I noticed several items on the shelves that were expired but still being sold. That raised serious concerns about cleanliness and quality control. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves both their customer service and store conditions.

This place was about 1/3rd of a typical Costco, but all Asian centric products. Produce selection was vast and appreciated. Snack game was on point. So many sauces, and in sizes you never see at a grocery store, so that was amazing. The thing that threw us off was the meat quality. Again, selection was vast, but we found the meat looked sad and old. This is somewhere between a 3 and 4 star, but a 4 star felt too generous due to the meat quality, or lack there of.

Always love visiting here from time to time, especially to get some sake. The size of this Tokyo Central is also a bit bigger than most others, but I do feel like other TC's are more modern and cleaner than this one, but you still can't go wrong here. Edit: I went today because I was in the area and the store feels much cleaner and they added a brand new sushi bar with a chef where the old anime stuff used to be. It was nice to see certain items that I had not seen in so long. The store is a bit on the smaller side, but whichever way you look, there's something for everyone. Goods are a bit pricier than most, but not many places sell goods directly from Taiwan. As others mentioned, it was very clean and have a good selection. There are plenty of parking near the store, especially since Big Lots has closed years ago.

They have a frozen section in addition to their shelf stable foods with items such as fish and various dumplings. While the cashier spoke both Mandarin and English, the person giving out samples of oolong teas only spoke Mandarin (In hindsight I should have asked if she spoke Taiwanese too). I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area to get more goodies for myself and as gifts.
