Went on a Sunday morning with my son. It is a smaller location with a diner type vibe, but very clean. There was a wait, but we got sat fairly quickly. My son LOVES cheeseburgers and was happy they had them. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was very good. His kids cheeseburger was huge, and honestly so good. The food was out fast, and was hot. This place is my husband and I's new favorite place for breakfast. It is one of those casual places that makes you feel like family. Our waitress Brooklyn was amazing and easy to talk to. One of my favorite things was that they have large coffee cups. I hate when you go somewhere for breakfast and you get a tiny coffee cup that needs a refill after every couple of sips. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. We each got an omelette with hashbrowns, which were good on their own, but then there are the biscuits. I have been to other breakfast places that are known for their biscuits and theirs do not come close to comparing to the Royal Biscuit's. They are tender and so buttery. read more

I just spent $60 for three of us on virtually inedible food. The server we had forgot we existed and took forever to take our order. She held up a wall really well though! The food was at best average and at worst flavorless gruel. There is Italian sausage in the loaded sausage omelet. The toast was half toasted and since the wall needed holding up no refills on the coffee from our server. Not a problem though the coffee tasted like brown water. I really miss that $60. read more

My men's Bible group met on Tuesday morning at 6:30 am and Jose had a table already reserved for us. First time visit. Food was wonderful. I ordered the stuffed sausage omelet, which was covered in thick sausage gravy with an order of hashbrowns. Service was prompt and friendly. This place isn't too bad if you are looking for a non-chain breakfast place, and like to go to those little small hole-in-the-wall places for breakfast. Typically, those unpretentious places are the town flavor; however, this may not be so. I did have their biscuits and gravy, but thought that Big Biscuit has better gravy. The gravy here is a bit too creamy and their biscuits weren't the sort of fluffy texture that one desires when eating biscuits and gravy. I witnessed a server stick his hands into a big jar of sliced strawberries, and then pop them into his mouth. He did this several times. It didn't look open, but we stopped anyways. To be fair, I'm a restaurant snob (greasy spoons not excluded) and an old fan of the predecessors Betty's and Sandy's, so was sad to see there was no pie case. The next thing that i noticed was the blaring polarizing Christian music station. I'm respectful of everyone else's beliefs and expect the same courtesy. Booth wasn't overly comfortable and table was in need of stabilizers. Idk, maybe it was my "retired drug dealer" hat or my freckles, but the cooks staring from the kitchen was a bit awkward. Wow! Fast, friendly service with classic comfort-style and healthy breakfast options! I ordered a California skillet with salsa, avocado, onions and green peppers. It was fresh and flavorful! Royal Biscuit, where you are treated like royalty from the moment you walk in! I had a wonderful experience eating here. They were friendly, and quick to seat and greet me. The restaurant was well kept and clean, the music was positive and encouraging, and the food was fresh. I ordered the "Big Salad" which came with fresh strawberries, and grilled chicken. You could tell the cook spent his time on this dish. Go check out Royal Biscuit! We had noticed this place a few days before and thought we'd give it a try. We're always looking for new restaurants. This place is a gem! It was early Sunday morning, so not crowded. Christian music playing softly in the background, (which was a nice change from the more common oldies at most places), but whether it was because of Sunday or their normal selection, I don't know. Always hard deciding what to choose from the menu, and this had plenty to choose from! I opted for the French Toast, while my husband chose an egg combo with hash browns and waffle. My French Toast was delicious (yes, you can screw that up!) and my husband said his "eggs over easy" were cooked to perfection. A feat that, apparently, is not easily mastered in the restaurant business. He said his waffle, other than not being quite crispy enough... but on him, as he forget to specify when ordered... tasted great! All in all, this place is terrific! Our first visit anyway. We were seated quickly, our waiter was very friendly and responsive throughout, and the food came quickly and arrived hot! We'll be trying lunch within the next week or so and am hoping to have another raving review. If the Royal Biscuit can continue their great food and service, I would sure hope they'll be around for a long time! read more

New breakfast lunch spot in old Sandy's location. Renovated and clean. All the plates I saw were huge portion. I had the sausage omelette with biscuits and gravy. It was very good and I only made it through about half the plate it was so much. Highly recommend trying this spot. read more

So, today was primary election and I voted and got out very quickly. Having extra time, I decided to stop at the Royal Biscuit and grab breakfast to go. Last time I had visited it was quite good and I'd been thinking of the farmers scramble my wife had and that I'd finished off. I arrived at 6:45am (Open at 6:30am) and ordered farmers scramble with biscuit and side of gravy. Unlike a month ago, this was not a great experience. Biscuit was very dense and moist instead of light and fluffy. Gravy had obviously been made with leftover sausage because the sausage chunks were super chewy. The scramble itself, well... the cook has seen better days. Eggs were over good and you could see the scorch marks in some areas and it just did not have a good taste. I toughed out about half and then gave the rest to my dogs. They really appreciated them. Hoping this experience was because I caught them right when they opened and maybe they had not gotten their routine down for the day. I'll try another time later in the morning and hope for better. read more
