Everything was really good! My mashed potatoes were dry but I doctored them up and they weren't bad. The gravy was delicious and my bacon was cooked perfectly and how I asked. My husband didn't love his cheddar broccoli soup as the pieces of broccoli were huge and seemed to just be added at the end but the flavor was good. Honestly my favorite part was having a giant side of cottage cheese which I'm sure is just store bought but it was great. Their salads are GREAT and easily customizable. We'll definitely be back again to try new items!

    Breakfast combo

A lot of food, decent price, quiet atmosphere and quick service. Definitely a place to come back to.

Handy off street parking and room for socializing

This spot is owned by the same team behind Kate's Kitchen up north--which I've always found fantastic--and I'm happy to report this location is on that same elite wavelength. The Experience: The atmosphere is clean and impressively airy, making for a great morning vibe. Both the hostess and server were exceptionally engaging, even providing a personal water pitcher for the table--a small touch that makes a huge difference. The Food: Chicken Fried Chicken: This is the real deal. It was clearly prepared fresh, not frozen, which is a rarity these days. The Sides: The home potatoes were perfectly crispy, and the gravy was thick, peppery, and hit all the right notes. The Biscuit: This "super-sized" biscuit was essentially the icing on the cake. The Eggs: I ordered my eggs poached soft. They arrived a bit too soft (runny yolk was the goal, but these were just under), though in fairness, that's likely on me for the specific request! Verdict: If you want a breakfast that feels home-cooked with high-quality ingredients and attentive service, this is the place. I'll definitely be back for their famous French toast and medium poached eggs .

The waffle was very nice, the bananas were ok and the bacon could be crispier but I forgot to ask for extra crispy so that's probably my fault The service was good and the ambiance was nice. Also easy to find the bathroom so that's a win Overall pretty good I would give 4.5 stars but I can't so yeah pretty good you should go. Byeeeeeeeee

We hit the club for brunch with a group, and while the ambiance was pure "Country Club Chic," the execution was a bit more "Sunday Morning Sand Trap." The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

For the tomatoes, one slice was the heel of a tomato and another was only half a slice? entrees: Switching to mains, I had the Seared Scallops and Shrimp, which is two medium-sized scallops and three shrimp over beans, rice, and corn ($33 as of 08/2025). Did not feel this was good value for the money. My wife ordered a burger, but initially received what appeared to be maybe the Grand Street Stack. Her Grand Street Stack arrived a few minutes after everyone else already had their entrees. Once we figured out she did not receive a burger, she had another long-ish wait while the kitchen made her a burger. Management politely removed the burger from our check. Perhaps of note, the menu describes the bacon as Double Thick Bacon; however, it appeared as regular bacon to us. details: Although the address is Renner Boulevard, the entrance does not face Renner. The entrance is around back. Plenty of easy parking in adjacent garage. Interior is sleek and modern. Music appropriate level for conversation.

They absolutely have the processes of this little restaurant honed to perfection, and even during a busy lunch time kept things humming so that there was minimal wait time (to order, for the food to be brought out, and to pay for our meal). Many, MANY thanks to Robert, who seated us, took our order, brought our food out, and settled our bill. He was friendly, efficient, and so welcoming. It was a joy to watch him work; he made sure to greet each and every customer coming in the door, and was consistently so upbeat and positive. And many, MANY thanks to Tony at the grill! Our food was FANTASTIC!! I have high standards for Mediterranean food, and the falafel wrap was totally delicious! The falafel itself was perfectly cooked, with a crispy outer layer, and the other ingredients in the wrap were chosen for a perfect melding of flavors. I had the side salad, with homemade Thai peanut dressing, and it was equally tasty. My husband had the patty melt, which came on homemade bread (!) and was, per his report, perfectly done. His side was tater tots, and we shared them. They were crisp and light without being greasy, and addictively yummy! The restaurant is in a strip center; it's not very big, but the tables are well placed so that no one feels cramped. The open reception area and kitchen/grill make it easy for the staff to respond to what's happening in the dining room (e.g., new folks arriving). It was a truly memorable meal, and we'll definitely be back! Again, MANY thanks to Robert and Tony for such a great lunch. We appreciate you!

They're regular pancakes topped with a raspberry sauce and lemon zest. I would definitely come back but aim for an outdoor seat.
