Plus the owners are passionate, fun, and welcoming. While driving through this plaza we spotted Royal cheesecake. We were surprised and excited to find a bakery off Westgate Rd. We searched Google later that night to view their menu and hours. The next day we stopped by for some cheesecake. We arrived about 30 minutes before they closed. They had cupcakes, cookies, and a cheesecake. Originally we were going to purchase just a slice of cheesecake. Only the full cake was for sale. We bought it along with two cupcakes (vanilla almond and pumpkin) and an oatmeal scotchie. The 6-inch turtle cheesecake was $35, the cupcakes $4 each, and the cookies $2 each. Seemed pricy at first but it's definitely worth it and better than the Cheesecake Factory. Personally I'm not a fan of cheesecake, but my family is. They have tried numerous cheesecakes from a variety of places. They raved about how this cheesecake was by far the best. It is flavorful, creamy, and satisfying. Usually they can eat multiple slices in one sitting. Not this one. This cake was so creamy and rich they were satisfied after one slice. The pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting was also delicious. The vanilla almond cupcake was good, but needed more almond flavor. The interior of the bakery is small and pretty. I love the fitting royal purple color. Chairs and tables are available if you want to dine in. Overall we had an excellent experience here and recommend this establishment to others! read more

We picked up a cheesecake from the pop up location at Brier Creek and Kenneth met us with the pink box filled with a delicious dessert. We ordered the plain cheesecake and my husband couldn't wait to get home to eat this decadent cheesecake. Royal cheesecake is a locally operated business run by a husband and wife duo and they have amazing flavors and make each cake with much pride and joy. Ordered a cheesecake online* three days ago through their website. It said I would get a text message when my cake would be ready on Saturday (today) at 1, but by 2:30 I hadn't gotten any texts yet so I decided to head to the store assuming they were busy or had just forgotten to contact me. I stopped at a parking lot near the store since I couldn't see it and wanted to ask for directions but when I called and asked for directions they seemed hesitant. They knew my name before I gave it and my order (I heard them mention the size and type of the cheesecake I ordered through the phone) so they clearly had my order in front of them. However after a few seconds they came back to tell me I shouldn't have been able to order it through the system and they had a wedding today and were closed. I get if a system messes up but obviously they knew they had my order and I got no email, text, or phone call saying what had happened. I honestly can't rate the cake or anything else but service wise it was disappointing. They said they refunded the order and would check but obviously I'm not looking at my bank info every day so how would I have noticed it without thinking to check lol.. My wife and I met Chef Kenneth and Baker Tamara at a wedding dessert showcase that was held at our wedding venue. We then followed their dessert truck and quickly decided we wanted them to do our dessert table for our wedding. All I can say is we have no regrets. Those desserts were a hit! The baby cherry cheesecake is just like the cheesecake cups my mom used to make, only the texture is better and don't even get me started on the crust. My first two bits I didn't properly get any on my fork (because this cheesecake is huge), but that third bite was even better than the first two. My appetite was large when I ordered so I also tried the Oreo cheesecake, which was equally amazing. Perfect balance of cookies and cream and again the crust, absolutely amazing. Very kind folks who arranged a curbside pick up quickly to satisfy my craving! As the portions are bigger than I expected, I am overwhelmed with satisfaction and simultaneously looking forward to the leftovers I'll get to enjoy again later.
