Absolutely the WORST customer service I EVER had. I have been coming here for a while with no issues until today! On Tuesday April 21st. I had gone in the drive thru at 8:58am. I was told to wait a moment and I said sure no worries. I patiently waited and waited until it was over 10 minutes and also realizing there's another car behind me. So I moved forwarded to the window and at this time it is now 9:20am. When I pulled up to the window. Worker 1 (Asian girl with glasses and short black hair) was just standing & leaning with her back against the drive thru window. When she noticed me, I told her that I was waiting for over 10 minutes there for someone to come back and take my order. She stated they were "busy" with only 6 customers in the lobby but no line at the register? And that she was talking through the intercom but didn't hear anything? Weird. Cause it was just find 10/15 minutes ago... I explained that she could have checked in and apologized for the wait but she did not do that. I asked her am I able to get a discount for such a long unnecessary wait? She chuckled and said "no." And then walked away. (SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL) Worker 2 (white girl with glasses and nose piercing with blonde highlighted hair) came over with my coffee and I asked her if she was the manager. She said "yes." I tried to explain the situation and she completely cut me off right away not wanting to hear me as the customer out. She explained she heard it all and she doesn't have the time for this and that I was initially being aggressive (BIG LIE TO MAKE HERSELF FEEL ON TOP OF THE SITUATION). I told her I clearly have not been aggressive from the start and how ridiculous it is to for the both of you to not take accountability of this situation. Now I am extremely mad because she decided to escalate the situation but cussing back and forth. Instead of hearing the customer out and apologizing about it, I was told to leave because they had "no time" for any of it. I have been coming to this location for years and have never once been treated like this. And on top of that when refunding me because she rather do that than putting her ego aside and taking accountability, she shorted me $2. My order was $13 and change and I gave $15. When receiving my money back. I didn't not receive the whole $15. I got mistreated and stolen from, from this location by these two workers who refused to give me their names. I DO NOT recommend coming here for your coffee needs. It is absolute disgusting behavior these two so called women had. They absolutely need RETRAINING on customer service and definitely RETRAINING on how to act as a manager of the establishment. Completely disappointed. I have only been here once, I don't live too close, but wanted to try them again. They have a solid menu, and I decided to try the Mexican mocha. It was really good, the workers are super friendly as well. The inside is really cute too. I'd definitely make the drive to come back. read more

This time I decided to try an iced vanilla latte and it was much better than the previous drinks I've tried. It was balanced and not overly sweet. I absolutely love Royal Coffee and it pains me to give them a bad review but I have to go off of my experience today. I got a text from the loyalty rewards and today makes 1 year that I've been going to them. They sent me a text saying I can get $5 off any item/drink. So I was super happy about that. I drive to the one by my house and they are closed for remodeling. The sign still said "visit us with remodeling" but they were CLOSED! So I go to the other way down Rainbow and the same exact thing. Mind you, there were other people there confused as well. The sign says "come visits us while remodeling were still open" but they weren't!!!! They were CLOSED! Tried calling, the number is out of service. Tried finding them on instagram and the page isn't found. So I'm not sure what's going on with them but I really enjoyed their coffee. read more

Love Royal Coffee! I've only been to the one on Rainbow Blvd, as it's closest to me. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all their menu items. I really love their rotating monthly specials! Today I got the White Chocolate Lavender cold brew. So good! And hubby got an Americano and we shared a ham & cheese croissant, which was also quite tasty. Ambience is nice: clean, relatively quiet for a coffeehouse--and cute. More often than not, when I visit Las Vegas (coming from LA), I make a trip to Royal Coffee for a pick me up on the drive back to SoCal. The quality of their coffee drinks definitely keeps me awake and energized for the long drive while also tasting great as well. After the other location I went to more often closed, this has been the one I frequent to the most (I believe there are only 2 now). There's ample parking, the inside of the store is spacious, and the wifi is solid if you're looking for a coffee spot to do some work as they have plenty of table spots and outlets to use. As for the drinks, I typically get the Royal Iced, which is amazing if you're into Caramel like me. You can get most of their specialty drinks hot, iced, or even blended as well, whichever you prefer I've had the Royal in all three forms and each one is bomb. Guess it just depends on the weather or what you're feeling. They have sandwiches and pastries as well but definitely the coffee is more so why people go here. It's strong and full of flavor. And just as important, the service has always been pleasant. Sometimes they have promotions, for instance this last 4th of July they had BOGO and notified me via text through their rewards program. Haven't had an instance where I had a cashier/barista not exude some positive emotion, so it's always a great reason to come back if you're into positive energy. So if you're looking for a good coffee drink with a good overall setting, Royal Coffee is highly recommended. read more

You need to try the banana bread, shaken espresso, wow! It was my first time there and I can't wait to reach her! The croissant had tons of flaky buttery layers then it was a great pairing with a delicately sweet banana bread shaken espresso. My first time here and I'm impressed. I came here right after my lab work at Quest from few doors down. I tried their blended Royal and chocolate croissant. The blended Royal is like the equivalent of Starbucks Frappuccino, I love the taste and they blended it well. It is so refreshing especially when the outside temperature is 120 degrees F. I also love the chocolate croissant, they warmed it up so the croissant is crunchy and flaky and the yummy chocolate is melted inside. This is a very spacious coffee ship, plenty of tables and some of them are equipped with outlets to charge your phone or your computer. And they also have a little corner where they placed the couch and you can simply hang out with friends. I didn't have to wait long for my orders to be picked up from the counter. read more

So for the second time, I came here during their normal business hours and they were closed. Saturday May 9 @4pm. Online it says they close at 6pm. Even the "OPEN" sign was lit up like they were open. Not sure what it going on with them, but they really need to get it together. Swung in here before work because I enjoy checking out local coffee shops. It had a coffee chain restaurant feel, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. Given it was st Patty's day, i ordered an Irish Cream latte. It was ok. There was way too much syrup, so it was way too sugary and I couldn't taste the coffee. Listen. I am admittedly quite picky about my coffee and should've also ordered a plain pile black coffee to determine the quality of the roasted beans they use. I generally stay away from large chains and support local. From the shop to the coffee, it just all had bigger chain vibes. read more

So look this batch this time was not the best. These are definitely not my favorite coffees. They usually do put out really good coffees, but in this case, the Irish coffee tasted real watery. I didn't really taste coffee. And my nephew got the strawberry ice cream soda he thought it was good, but it ended up being too much like he said it was sweet, but not too sweet. I don't know he wasn't a real fan of it. The Service is always great. They're super nice very quick friendly I will be back to try other drinks. read more

Got a cold brew with cold foam, at 99% of all coffee shops cold foam is a sweet topping. Why would I pay an extra $1 to have an unsweetened thin foam at the top of my coffee? The workers said I had to ask for it sweetened but the menu didn't portray that at all and the worker didn't ask. The small cold brew was over $7 and it was one of the worst cold brews I have ever had. Super disappointed by Royal coffee, and charging a dollar for maybe a centimeter of unsweetened cream in my coffee is absurd. read more

Was in the area and needed an afternoon caffeine kick. It was my first time, and it was a nice first-impression. The place is definitely hip and clean. There's even a full garage door that opens to connect the patio to the inside. I ordered a Cold Brew Nitro. The service was Ok. The soft-spoken girl at the counter didn't really greet or smile, and wasn't able to provide a printed receipt, but no biggie. Next time I might try their Pumpkin Spice Latte, or the Orange Cinnamon Infused Energy, which sounds interesting. I have a few topics to point out. First, the restrooms are locked and must be accessed by a key from the counter - no biggie as we see this alot, however the key is attached to a large coffee mug by a short keychain! Lol (see photos) Also BEWARE of the steep curb when you enter either side of the parking lot, by Freddy's Custard or Denny's. I noticed several sedan cars scraping the bottom of their bumpers on this enormous curb! Be careful! The barista said "that was supposed to be just for one day not the whole week, the person who sends those out goofs up stuff like that a lot". I went to Royal Coffee Roasting this week to get some working on. I found it a great place to work and get some stuff done. They had a variety of seating but only the low tables worked for me. The tall tables are not made for those of us with big booties. I tried and kept sliding off, lol! Also, the two top tables aren't good for two people working together. My friend and I were a bit smushed with our laptops but when we moved to the communal seating, it worked out well. They have plugs for charging and very good wifi. The environment is super chill and staff is friendly. They have so many unique coffee options so I need to go back. The 'Vegas' coffee has 6 shots!!! Oh em gee. Their hot chocolate was tasty and the price was great. I think it's pretty cool they have energy drink options. I have tried the Sunset Supreme and the Cosmo Supreme, both were enjoyable. I also ordered a chocolate muffin which was delicious but a little dry. They were super nice and warmed it up for me! Overall, good experience at Royal Coffee Roasting and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again. I need to try that Vegas drink! Give me all the caffeine. read more

I went here via drive thru the barista was really helpful and I ended up getting an iced Royal (white chocolate and caramel mocha) with oat milk and it was delicious! I tend to like a sweeter drink and loved that I didn't need to make any additional adjustments of sweetener. I want to check out the inside next time but it looks pretty spacious from what I could see! read more

It's down the street from my job, Everyone is really nice there, one employee was really nasty but I haven't seen her in a while so I'm sure they got ride of her and her nasty attitude. Conveniently located on the way to work. Haven't been here since they changed the name to Royal from Black Rock Coffee Bar. Drive thru line was quick! Cashier was friendly and explained the ingredients in certain drinks for me. Only reason for 4 stars is because I got the iced Knight which is supposed to be hazelnut mocha but I didn't taste any hazelnut whatsoever. It tasted like a standard iced mocha from starbucks, except starbucks is cheaper than this...so I would not pay $7 for another medium sized Knight again. It was also way too sweet for my taste. Even after the ice melted I had to dilute it with even more ice. Service was great though, so I still plan on coming back here and trying other drinks on their menu. And maybe ask for half sweet too lol. read more

To make a long story short, I had the old business that used to be here bookmarked for forever. It's no longer there obviously since it's now Royal Coffee, but since I was in the area today, I decided to head there and try it because Royal Coffee was also on my list, too! This location is easy to get to and a little smaller, though from looking at the photos on Yelp, it looks adorable inside so kinda mad at myself for not getting out of my car. But, they have a drive thru! Which gotta love a coffee place with a drive thru, am I right?! I pulled up to the drive thru and had no idea what I wanted. They have a few speciality drinks but can pretty much make whatever you want. The guy taking my order was so nice! I told him I had never been there but I love lavender. He suggested a lavender latte. Then I asked could I mix it with something else? He recommend the white chocolate. He was so patient and helpful! Then I pulled up to the window and was greeted by the friendliest girl. I mean the customer service here was outstanding. She and I chatted the whole time while I waited for my drink which wasn't too long at all. She was seriously so nice! Complimented my nail color and then we talked about my Apple Watch band and how beautiful the weather was. She seriously made my day. After I got my coffee and took a sip I was in heaven. It was sooo good! I seriously wish this Royal Coffee was closer to my house because based on the incredible customer service and the delish coffee, I'd be here every week. So notice new coffee spot close to my house Royal Coffee Roasting. I am pretty sure been to another one of there locations. It was great experience! So figure why not check out another one. Just happens be one down the road. Lol. I like the open space interior and the different areas can hang out. Corner spot has two nice couches with coffee table. Really comfortable and even got pillows. Regular tables with ac outlet charge phone or plug in laptop or tablet. Also got stand up tables and small patio area sit outside. The lion logo is pretty cool and definitely makes it stand out. The coffee is solid. I had white mocha both times. I tried the pecan roll last visit and blueberry muffin first visit. Not sure if they make it in house but overall they were great and perfect compliment with my Java. The staff five stars!!!!!! I love all the smiles from the whole staff.
