Absolute garbage work. First let's talk about the horrible customer service. Your car will be done on this date, go down there it's not done. Come back when they call get the car and chrome piece on grill not installed. Oh bring it back and we will put it on. We have jobs but have no choice so we go back. Annoying to say the least. Now let's get to the dangerous part. Picked car up. My teenaged daughter drives the car I'm talking about. It's pulling so we take it to our mechanic. Must need an alignment after crash. Understandable but why didn't royal do it. Wouldn't have mattered if they had done the alignment because the steering rack and pinion was bent from the accident, and they didn't fix it. We don't put cars on lifts to give them a full evaluation when repairing nowadays? Nope. They just did the exterior body work and gave us back an unsafe car to drive. Don't use them. Go somewhere else even if they're the preferred center for your insurance like they were for mine. No stars would be most appropriate rating for this place. read more

Selected Royal Collision Center for three reasons: Preferred by State Farm insurance, location, and fine reviews. Called ahead and spoke with Jay. Jay became our estimator when brought in our 2015 Toyota Prius with right front damaged due to coyote impact. Agreed to allow Royal to borrow toe caps to get perfect color match. Estimate took longer than expected: a full hour. But well worth this time! When returned May 18 at 8:00 a.m., Royal had all parts and paint match on hand to shorten repair window that could require up to three days down to four hours! Our Prius is now perfectly restored and we could not be more satisfied with the quality of the work provided by Royal Collision Center and with the professionalism and courtesy of their personnel. read more

Not sure if I can post a before & after picture of my Mini but what would be an almost $1500.00 job turned into a 'FREE' job done in about 30 Minutes time!! I am guessing my car damage was done by road garbage on I-10 ( Tire treads from semis) My bumper was hanging on one side & scraping the road , Royal Collision put effort into Drilling new homes in the cracked under part allowing them to bolt it all back into place & safe to drive. After I asked what I owe & was told "$0" Keep in mind, they used their employees to do my repair, time they made $0 from me!!! I turn in my vehicle at the scheduled day and time. They wait 24 hours to even begin the tear down. Then four days after that they figure it needs more work done than initially planned. Because they aren't my insurance's "Preferred vendor" they have to wait for the insurance adjuster to review their findings, not really their fault but let's drag the problem out even more because I don't need the money I'm throwing away on a rental. I get the car back, finally, and they didn't even wash it. What kind of collision center doesn't detail a car before returning it? I just LOVE the greasy hand prints they added. I had my car repaired by Royal Collision center on Speedway last week. It was closest to my house and was suggested by my insurance company. Initially, I was not trusted the shops recommended by the insurance company because I thought they always have some special connections, kick backs, inferior parts, less skilled workers, ...etc. But they said it was just an estimation and I can still take my car to another body shop for the work afterward. I was surprised to see the office/shop was modern, clean and very professional looking. And Royal group is a reputable Tucson dealership. It was busting busy when I took my car in for estimate. So it took a while (30 min or so) before someone helped me. The lady at the front desk was sincere, courteous and very friendly, she apologized for the wait few times and tried to get an estimator for me ASAP. Royal called me when my parts arrived and it was completed in 3 days as they suggested. The damage was finished as never happened. They even gave a complimentary car wash before I picked up. Overall, I am very happy with their work, courtesy and professionalism. read more

I got a repair estimate here on August 12th, 2014 for $2706.70 by Tom Leverty, one of their estimators. He was very nice. I ended up hiring Maaco at 4102 East Grant and getting principally the same work done for $648.00. Yes, you read that correctly - about 1/4th as much, and it's already completed. It pays to shop around. On the other hand Royal sure has good coffee and a great, (really fancy!!) waiting room... totally top notch. read more

This was the 6th time bringing one of our cars into this Royal Auto Collision center. We had good service prior to our October, 2018 experience; however, the service estimator was very slow & poor in his communications with us as to any progress sometimes taking a week to update us. Weeks into the repair the manager got involved per our insistence. It took a month to complete approx. $14K worth of repairs. When we went to pick our car up we easily saw something hanging from the grill (the ambient air sensor which was "no big deal to mechanic" & fixed) & the inside of the car had not been cleaned - very dirty. Whomever's job it was to double check that the car was ready for us to pick up did not perform a thorough inspection. read more

My car was damaged by a recent hail storm. Many dents on the hood, roof, trunk. My insurance told me this Royal Collision is a certified/preferred service center. Since, I purchased my car through Royal, I thought it would be a safe idea to take my car to Royal Collision. Keep in mind this car was a brand new 2015 vehicle, and it was purchased just 1 week before the storm. It was in perfect condition other than the hail damage. I had them work on the damage for a week and a half. During that time I had to call to get status. I had to find out it was going to take an additional 3-4 days by calling them. They don't do a very good job at keeping customers updated. Once I found out my car was ready for pick up, I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon to pick up. The first problem I encountered was the front desk person demanded my deductible be paid and I sign a release stating I was satisfied with the work prior to me inspecting my vehicle. I paid the deductible but refused to sign the release form until I inspected my car. The lady at the desk was not happy but had to agree to take me to my car. She was the first person to start taking me to my car. She did not want to get someone to answer my questions and all she could do is say "Umm..I'm not sure". I told her to go in and get whomever is familiar with the repairs. It was obvious they don't like to deal with customers. Once the gentleman came out to answer my questions, I noticed there was scratch on the door. The hood still had 2-3 dents remaining. The roof had some kind of ripple in the metal. Here is the kicker!! I opened my drivers door and there was HUGE globs of putty in the drivers seat that was rubbed in; a 12-18 inch greyish black mark on my headliner above drivers seat. The floor mat had white residue that looked like paint, powder, or overspray of some type. I was of course livid and ripping the Estimator out and demanded the Manager. Then I opened the back door. Someone's boot print and scuff marks all over the rear passenger side along with food splatter on the outside of the seat. The exterior of the car was even dirty. When the manager seen this, he was mortified and embarrassed. He was very apologetic. My anger was not only about what they did but I was promised that they used gloves and covers when they work inside the car when removing my headliner to work the dents out of the roof. It was apparent my car did not get this care. Because of the nasty mess my car was left in, they returned my deductible back and rented me car while they cleaned and repaired my car further. I called the regional manager and spoke with him along with one of the owners Neal Weitman. Both apologized and assured me they would make sure this is rectified and doesn't happen again. I demanded my car be returned to me in the exact condition I left it and no less. They assured me it would be and if anything was damaged due to their negligence, they would replace if I wasn't satisfied. In 2 days they called me to pick up my car. When I returned, it looked perfect. They went over the car again and made sure they got every dent. The interior was cleaned and looked very good. They detailed the car to a new look. They paid for the rental i had. They also promised a full detail when I want one anywhere in town. Even though they made it right and fixed everything, I cant give more than 2 stars because of the customer service and how I had to demand to talk with someone who could answer my questions. Also they should have taken care of my car when in their care, and they failed to do that. No customer should be treated in this manner and should find his/her car looked as if the staff lived in it for a week. Hopefully, this wont happen to anyone in the future. I'm hoping they since fixed their internal issues so this never ever happens again. read more

We went in because the driver's door in our Acadia would "drop down" when we opened it. Our estimator Steve said "let me take it in back and see if the guys can make a quick adjustment" He was back with our rig in about 10 minutes with the door fixed and sent us on our way with a handshake! No charge! That's a great way to build good customer relationships - how could we go anywhere else when we need "billable" services? Thanks Royal! read more

We bought a Buick used that needed a ton of repairs and the Royal Buick on Speedway advised us to go to the collision center for a rear door not closing/locking all the way due to an accident the prior owner had. The interior light had to come out because it still reads like it won't close, but they assured us that they banged the locking mechanism into place so it was safe to drive without the door popping open..Polite, professional people working there, quick work and it was free of charge:) that is hard to find in a business. read more

Now I don't get my car hit/fixed very often, but if I did, I would continue to go back to this place! Here is how my visit went: With no appointment, I go to the collision center before work to get an estimate. Although they take a little while to do the estimate (30 minutes or so, but I am a little impatient as I am always running late!) They give me my estimate, and even offer to send it to the insurance company. With no appointment (again) I drop my car off. They call someone from the rental car place to pick me up. By the time I have signed the papers and handed over my keys the car rental person is there. The very next day they call me to tell me my car is ready. They not only replaced the bumper, but filled in some of the specs I had on my hood from rocks. They even had my car washed and cleaned. My car looks better than before the accident! Lastly, which is what gives them the full five stars in my book, someone waited after hours to let me pick up my car. Plus everyone was very nice and professional. I had substantial damage to the rear bumper of my van, and my insurance company recommended Royal for an estimate and/or repair. The estimator reviewed with me the appraoach to making repairs and gave me a rough timeline. He also tried to work out the large dent without success. He offered to work on it some more if I could wait a while. After about 25 minutes he invited me to inspect we he had done. He had managed to repair 90-95% of the damage, working out almost all the dent, re-attaching the dislodged panel and explained how I could treat the scratches and scrapes that were left. I was impressed not only with what he had done, but with his willingness to help and his initiative in approaching the problem. Great service! I wrote my insurance company to express my satisfaction with Royal. They'd be nuts not to maintain their affiliation with Royal. read more

I have had two auto collision mishaps this year with my very pristine Volvo S-80. The first was $700 back up dent that they flawlessly completed in a few days. Several months later, I was the victim of a" hit and run" rear end accident that took out the whole right side rear quarter panel and did $8,500 in damage to my car. The car was borderline totaled. It took them almost a month to fix it, but again their work and paint matching was absolutely flawless. Tom and the crew down at Royal are extremely professional and competent. I guess Royal sells a lot of high end cars, so they have the experience to fix them right. What incredible people! I was at the vet, with my extremely anxious dog, when my shifter failed. I called, just hoping they did mechanical work. They don't, but the woman that I spoke with asked a lot of questions and one of their employees came over to help me out. He was able to get me on the road and to a repair shop that was able to fix the problem. He was also really good to my scaredy dog, who has to be in the passenger seat most of the time. After such an act of kindness, this will be my first choice for any body or paint work I need and I'll be telling everyone I know to do the same. read more

We are new to Tucson and this body shop was recommended to us (someone sideswiped my parked Honda Pilot in a parking lot). We were VERY happy with the service we received! They handled everything with our insurance (and directly submitted an additional claim for us when they found more damage than was originally estimated by the insurance company). They kept me well informed and called several times to update me on their progress and estimated completion date. Entire process went smoothly and the car looks great! I also really appreciated the great detailing/cleaning job- my SUV looks brand new again! No small feat as we'd just completed a cross-country trip/move in it with three small children and two cats- the backseat was pretty dirty (the seat underneath where the kids' Car seats were installed). I would not recommend this repair shop. I was in a small fender bender so I brought my car in for an estimate. Tom was very thorough as he went over the damage and repairs with me. He told me it would take four days to repair. At the top of my written estimate it says four days. There was 8.2 hours of labor and 5.1 hours of paint. I brought my car in at 8AM on Monday. Tuesday afternoon a man named Jack called me. He said my car would not be done until the following Monday. I told him that the estimate was for four days and that I needed my car. He told me he would see what he could do. I waited for hours so finally I called him back. His attitude was even though the estimate was four days, too bad. Maybe we can get it on Saturday, He kept telling me that they were closed on Sunday and I kept saying the car was supposed to be done on Thursday. He did nothing to help me until I posted on Yelp. Now he says he will try and get my car by Friday. I don't know how 13.2 hours of labor turned into 8 days. Go somewhere you can trust a written estimate. read more

These guys did a great job fixing the bumper on my (brand new) baby! Good as new. Plus, I had a minor ding in a side panel that I thought about fixing, but then decided I didn't want to spend the money. They worked on it anyway, free of charge. What a classy, sweet thing to do! My car had a minor parking lot injury to the front corner of the bumper. This business made it a quick and efficient process. I was able to just drive in and fill out a brief form. 15 minutes later a representative called my name. We looked at the car and Matthew suggested he take it back and have the techs see if they could just buff out the scrapes on the bumper. 15 minutes later he called me to go have a look. It looked great and he even gave me a small container of touch up paint. I asked him how much and he said, "no charge"! Must say, I'm very pleased with the outcome. read more

However the manager (Mr. Blackwell) handled my issue immediately and professionally, and even offered to pay to have it washed and shampooed. When I got in an accident with my Corolla (*RIP my dear Toyota*) the two guys at that were working when the tow truck dropped off my car were really nice and comforting, especially considering what had just happened to me. Since this was my first major accident I know i must have asked them way too many silly questions, but they took a lot of time to help explain my options and offered a ton of advice. My car ended up being totalled, but they did most all of the work with coordinating with the insurance company (which made my life easy because I hate dealing with insurance companies). They were not at all what I would have thought body shop workers would be like, which was refreshing! If you happen to get in an accident, I would recommend the Royal Collision Center. read more
