They make you wait so long just to be seen and then try to perform stuff that doesn't need to be done and make you feel like you don't have a choice. They schedule way too many people at once so the same doctor is going back and forth between care. I went in last minute for an emergency appointment since my front tooth veneer popped off. This has happened a few times since having my veneers placed 10 yrs ago so I am pretty seasoned with how cementing the veneer back into place goes. I was relieved to be able to find an appointment anywhere on a Saturday afternoon so I reluctantly went in. I sat there for 45 mins before being called back then when I sat down they told me I needed full x-rays and a full exam before they could help me with cementing my veneer back into place. I told them I already have a dentist and don't need imaging or an exam. They pushed me saying it's their office policy to do full x rays and an exam. I told them no, it wasn't necessary I've never needed all that to get my veneer cemented. They said they would need to evaluate why it popped off, I told them it was because I bumped a tree and I wasn't having any other issues anywhere else in my mouth. Then they said they'd have to ask the doctor. Well they came back and said okay they will just do an xray on the front tooth and I again said there is no need for an xray when you can see my veneer in hand and the tooth it needs to be placed on. They again said they'd have to check with the doctor. At this point it's been an hour and I still don't even know if they will do the work. The doctor finally walked in and said he basically said he can't guarantee a good job, I was like whatever I just need my tooth back on until I can do see my dentist on Monday. He came in, didn't clean the veneer or my tooth at all he just blew some air on it for a split second and then glued it back on and walked out. He took about 5 mins total. I've had this done before at a couple different offices in the past and they thoroughly clean the veneer and my tooth and put gauze in my mouth to make sure it is a clean and dry surface before cementing but this guy didn't do any of that. So not only did I wait forever, have to fight for my right to not be billed or have my insurance billed for stuff I do not need, he also did a crap job for a simple procedure. I know it was because they weren't going to be able to make a significant money off me so they didn't want to waste time on me. Such scammers and it's such a shame because they take advantage of people who will not stand up for themselves and just go with whatever they say. I now have to go to my dentist on Monday to redo the procedure so I don't get an infection underneath my veneer and so that it will be put on correctly not half on like this "dentist" left it. I feel so sad that greedy manipulative people can do things knowing it can cause real pain and health issues for people in the future.

Dr. Jeng confirmed she needed a root canal and even offered to perform it the same day since she was in tears. Unfortunately, his receptionist, Jennifer, stopped him and insisted our insurance wouldn't cover the procedure. She instead referred us to a specialist, claiming it would be "significantly less." After calling our insurance, I learned this was not true. Our insurance is in network and would have covered a portion of the procedure had Dr. Jeng performed it in office. Instead, we ended up at the specialist the next day, paying $1,400 (after a 25% insurance discount). A general dentist would have cost less, and most importantly, my daughter suffered an additional day of unnecessary, excruciating pain. Even Jeng said it would have cost $1000 if I paid him cash. When I left a voicemail expressing my concern, the response I received from Jennifer was dismissive and unhelpful, simply suggesting I call my insurance company. No apology, no ownership, and no attempt to make things right. This is ultimately Dr. Jeng's responsibility. Hiring staff who provide inaccurate information that delays treatment and increases patient costs is unacceptable. I will be filing a grievance with my insurance provider regarding this office.

After seeing numerous dentists in Los Angeles and Irvine over the years, no one had ever identified the root cause of my symptoms. Dr. Kenneth was the first dentist who correctly diagnosed my TMJ and provided treatment that finally brought me relief. His knowledge, experience, and attention to detail truly set him apart. My parents are also patients of Dr. Kenneth. My mother has dementia, which can make dental treatment and following instructions challenging at times. She is picking up her new dentures today, and throughout the entire process, Dr. Kenneth has been incredibly patient, compassionate, and understanding. He took the time to work with her at her own pace, explained things carefully, and always treated her with kindness and respect.
