Friendly staff, excellent tasting food, quick service, and very relaxing environment with good Indian music. The space was simple and laid back. Wish the naan bread was larger in size but they made up for it with good rice portions. Chicken tandoori was good and the servicer was very kind and patience with us.

Great food here! Service was spot on. Restaurant could be a bit cleaner but it is what it is. Food is worth it!

We've been a few times to Royal Everest and are glad to have a good Indian spot locally. The appetizers are good and we love the different varieties of Naan. Our go to are the chicken curry masala and butter chicken. Delicious!

Absolutely lovely addition to Burien! I arrived shortly after opening on a Saturday and was promptly greeted. Our server spoke very, very softly, but thankfully we were the only ones in the restaurant. On a busy evening I'd really struggle to hear him. I like that they took the guess work out of the spice level and explicitly state that it's Americanized. I opted for some veggie kofta, 4 stars. I wish I went with a 5, when they say Americanized they're not kidding! Garlic naan, of course, which was overall quite good. My dining partner is new to Indian cuisine and went with the chicken tikka masala, which was well received. They brought out a single plate of rice and let us know they'd be happy to bring more when needed. I washed it all down with a mango lemonade, which was delightful! While I was here 5 or 6 other people came in for pick up, all Caucasian, though they already straight up tell you it's Americanized and not authentic, so I suppose I'm not surprised. Overall I enjoyed my lunch, plenty of leftovers and I got my money worth, and I'd happily eat here again.

Wow. I was new to Indian food, and while visiting my daughter and her BF, I, my BFF and "the kids" went to this amazing place. Delicious food. Tandoori Chicken, Coconut Curry Chicken (my fave), and other things I cannot remember the names of. I have had store-bought Naan many times, but their homemade Garlic Naan is heavenly. Fluffy with a little bit of crunch. SO delicious! For dessert, I got some gorgeous Chai Milk Tea and Rice Pudding, which is not like any I've had before. Their Rice Pudding is a but thinner, with pistachios and raisins. I absolutely went nuts over it. We all did! The wait staff was very friendly. I can see why my daughter and her boyfriend are in love with the place!

    49. Tikka Masala (chicken) - 2/5 stars [unappealing pinkish color (likely from dye), tad too sweet, not creamy enough]

Service is very attentive. Food was just okay in my opinion but the people beside me kept raving about how this place is the best in Burien. If you have an itch for nepalese/indian food this place will certainly scratch that itch; but better can be found if you're willing to drive to the Eastside. (My current preference is Turmeric Kitchen).

Really pleased with our (party of two) first experience at this restaurant! We happened to be in the area, and in the mood for this type of cuisine, and Yelp led us here. The Tikka Masala (chicken) and Jalfrezi (fish) were both tasty, and the Garlic Naan was very good accompaniment. Our friendly and attentive server, Mohammad, brought us some more White Basmati Rice, just when we needed ( the original serving size was on the small side for two). We might try the Non-Vegetarian Dinner for Two next time. There will definitely be a next time. It was not hard to find nearby parking, despite the bustling dinner scene on this Burien street. We will be back to Burien too. Lots of interesting-looking eateries there.

The BEST Indian food in Burien and Normandy park and Des Moines! Not just Indian food, also Himalayan They don't deliver but Uber eats will get you the food. The restaurant is very basic and no thrills but nice service. I wish they would up their game there but it's fine. I'll add some photos next time I eat there or order.

Also Aloo Gobi Matar Masala a cauliflower dish in a mild sauce served over rice. Both were great, the service was constant. Our server brought us a few different samples. Very kind. I highly recommend this place, it's my favorite of all the Indian restaurants we try.

Our server was attentive, present, and genuinely eager to learn and provide a good experience. There was a level of effort there that you don't always see, and I can confidently say there was nothing negative about the service. Now, the food. We started with the Cauliflower Manchurian appetizer, which was the standout of the night, beautifully spiced, well-balanced heat, and exactly what you expect when you go out for Indian cuisine. It delivered flavor and depth. We also enjoyed our Garlic Naan. For our entrees we ordered Prawn Malai Curry and Chicken Saag. The prawns were clean and cooked properly, but the dish overall felt under-seasoned and lacked the heat and boldness typically associated with Indian food. The chicken itself was moist and cooked well, but presentation was noticeably different from the menu photos. The saag, in particular, was more of a purée rather than the textured spinach shown, which was a bit disappointing from a visual and expectation standpoint, And again, it lacked the bold, heat generally associated with Indian Cuisine. Where the experience struggled most, however, was the ambiance. The restaurant felt unusually quiet. ((It was a Thursday Evening around 6pm)) We were one of only two tables dining, and the overall atmosphere came across as somewhat uncomfortable and, at times, a bit eerie. The exterior signage also doesn't align with the cuisine; it gives off more of a fast-food or taco truck impression rather than an inviting Indian dining experience. Additionally, the gold-toned plating and utensils felt more distracting than elevated. The finish appeared worn and tarnished, which unfortunately had the opposite effect of what was likely intended, as it felt more gaudy than refined. Overall, we did have a good experience, largely due to the service and a few highlights in the food. However, the restaurant is still finding its footing. From what I understand, they've only been open about six months, and it shows. With some strategic adjustments, especially in ambiance, branding, and consistency between menu presentation and actual dishes, this place has real potential. I hope the owner takes the opportunity to refine these areas, because there is something here worth building on.

I decided to take the menu to the side and use yelp to decide. Since I knew I wasn't saying the items correctly, I pointed. I ordered the DahvPuri or something, I pointed to it. Then I wanted to order garlic naan, again I pointed. She told me that I couldn't get the garlic naan because the other order was an appetizer. I explained that I wanted to ORDER it. In any case the woman's face was so stink, I told her never mind I was leaving. As I walked out she was shouting at me over her screen to come back. She can't even come outside to ask me to come back. If she had a better customer service attitude, and explained things it would have been different The restaurant is very bright but looks a bit dirty. Mixed Experience - Some Hits, Some Misses I ordered takeout…read morebased on the positive reviews here, and had a mixed experience overall. Aalu tikki Burger - this is good, love the crispy aalu patti and overall burger. The chips was mediocre, it didn't feel fresh or crispy as you expect from potato chips! Chicken Masala burger - this isn't made with Patty but julienned chicken which makes the bun soggy for a take out order. It feels like the same chicken used in the chicken jungli roll. Chicken jungli roll - while the chicken was spicy and juicy, the roll was seeping of oil in the end. Chole batura - the baturas were small 3 baturas which were ok but the channa masala had 4 tsp of oil which i had to throw before even I tried to taste. Chicken biryani - this was a let down, the biryani has a rose water or a different unusual flavor that was making this biryani different than other biryani I have eaten. The chicken wasn't that tender either. The raita was overpowered with chat masala. Peri Peri fries were ok, the masala was different than what I have eaten before but the overall fries could have been better. Overall, the food is decent but each dish seemed to be missing something to make it really shine.
