First of all, I want to give a bit of my background. I have worked in many upscale restaurants and worked with many top chefs, which include Puck, Thomas Keller, and other top chef. I have also owned and managed many restaurants as well. Our waitress was very nice, pleasant and accommodating, however, when she took our order, she did not ask how we wanted our food served. WE order an appetizer and an entree, which I assumed would come to the table one at a time. They both came together, a little unusual, but OK. The $60 king salmon was overcooked and dry, but still very good. The waitress asked how everything was and we addressed our concern about the salmon. Then without a question if we were finished with our plates she picked them up and ran off with them... It happened so fast we were taken aback, because we were not finished with the dish, there was plenty of crab and rice pilaf left on the dish. Finally, it was a special occasion for my wife's birthday, and I had requested that a candle be placed on any dessert she ordered , and that did not happen either. Superfood Salad: white bean hummus, quinoa, kale, carrots, blueberries, golden berries, cashews, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, avocado, herbs, feta, lemon-sesame vinaigrette (4/5).
